I purchased my 2017 Kia Sorento from Price Kia located in Charlottesville VA. Since I've had this vehicle it has been in and out of the shop at Kia Service in Charlottesville VA. It has had several recalls. The turbo was replaced, the fuel pump was replaced and just recently the engine was replaced. Once the engine was replaced it would lose all power going over mountains or hills. I took it back several times telling service there was an issue. Service said they fixed it several times and it was never fixed! My family went to NJ after they said it was fixed the last time and it continued to lose power and broke down again. After contacting Kia Service in Cville telling them they didn't fix it again, they told me I needed another motor. They allowed me to drive away from their shop knowing it needed another motor. Then I find out they put old parts from my previous engine into my new engine they just replaced (not smart). They proceed to tell me to call Kia Consumer to tell them the car is broken down, it's under warranty with the new engine. I had to pay for my own towing $170.00, just to get it to another Kia Dealership, for a problem that should have been fixed four service appointments ago. Global Kia in NJ actually found out that my battery was bad which killed the motor. Adding another bill I had to pay of $1300 since Kia consumer wouldn't cover it and Kia in Charlottesville took no responsibility for being incompetent. Not to mention we are now stuck with over $2500 in rentals. This has cause so much emotional damage and stress to my family and me. Kia in Charlottesville VA seem to be incompetent and are very unprofessional. Such bad business by Charlottesville Kia Service and no help by Kia management. Since calling them out they now refuse to accept transport of my car return from NJ. I will have to drive to Richmond to pick it up. I would NEVER recommend Kia! Who knows how many other people they do like this! I did my inspection there and they were going to fail me for a drive belt. You can't fail for that! I also reported them to the BBB and they have failed to respond. My next action will be a lawyer.

We ordered a Carnival a year ago and they called us and told us it was in. We told them unfortunately we had two funerals to go to and we'd pick it up afterwards, they said everything was set and ok. Fast forward a couple days and we called to set up pickup only to learn it was sold to another person. They ssid another one was co.ing in that week and we could have that one but that was last week and still no word. One star.
Very Satisfied First Time KIA Owner
Had a phenomenal experience at Price Kia! Dan and his team working diligently to secure the new EV model we had our eye on. Overall our purchase was pleasant and professional. I have enjoyed my interactions with all of the staff members I have encountered to date. I'm a first time Kia owner and I look forward to doing business with Price Kia in the future.

The service dept. is deceptive and will charge you for repairs not approved. Sales is predatory, and want your SSN before giving a cars price
Best dealership!
This is our second vehicle from Price Kia...we LOVE the dealership AND the vehicles! From the purchase (Dennis Barbieri) to the financing, to the service, it's the best! We have a Mercedes and a Sorrento, and I prefer to drive my Sorrento! :)
Don’t bring your car to their service center!
I have no idea how Kia service center is rated so highly. My car is worse after having it “repaired” at Kia. Worst than that is that they will not admit that they did shotty work and just fix the issue! They “fixed” my ac and now I have water gushing all over my floor boards. That wasn’t happening before! Instead of just saying, just bring it in ma’am, I’m sorry we’ll fix it, the “customer service” guy wanted to argue that it was somehow my fault. Bad form.

I’ve had my Kia since 2012- so so so many problem! The Motor blew up at 50,000 miles and they had to put in a while new motor and several more recalls afterwards. The service center people are rude and condescending- as a female stepping into the world Of male mechanics, I think they need to be more appropriately intelligent when speaking to females. I’m not without mechanical knowledge- my dad, brother and sister are all mechanics at Toyota- I know more than they realize. They “fixed” my ac and the next day it was gushing water in my floor board. I called to tell Kia service about this issue, expecting a “sorry ma’am, just bring it back and we will fix it” but instead I got an explaination that it was somehow my fault?? It wasn’t gushing water when I dropped it off a few days ago. I told the guy that I would be more comfortable if he didn’t try to diagnose without looking at the ac again and he may want to just apologize and fix the issue. He refused to show an ounce of humility or reflect any customer service skills at all. I can’t believe they got so many stars without paying people to give them good reviews. I’m Nederland buy another Kia.
2015 Optima was oil change and tire rotation
I absolutely love Price Kia's staff. I receive excellent service and can get all of my questions and concerns answered. The Optima is my 3rd vehicle purchased since 2013.
Great Experience
My wife and I were shopping for a new crossover SUV at Price Kia. Dennis Barbieri was very helpful in assisting us in the process. The other dealership staff personnel were also very helpful. Great experience.
