"Village Subaru - Reinventing the Car Buying and Servicing Experience!"

We recently bought from Village Subaru and the experience was flawless. Erik Holm was delightful to work with. He had the most competitive price among... 8 dealerships we reached out to. Eric found the car matching our specs within a day and threw in for free a few accessories that came with the car that we hadn’t asked for. All the negotiations were over email and on the pickup day Erik had all the paperwork ready and we were able to leave with our purchase in less than an hour. We highly recommend Erik and Village Subaru if you are in the market for a car.
Thank you to the Service Department at Village Subaru! The battery in my 2010 Outback started to fail. I called Village Subaru and asked if they could... verify what the problem was. I dropped it off, and they replaced the battery for me that afternoon. They went above & beyond for me. I highly recommend the Service Department. Way to go, Service people!
This is my 2nd review of the Village Subaru Service department. These guys are still doing a great job. I had them put on new tires the other day and... was told by the service tech that they usually do an alignment when they put on new tires. I also was concerned that the brakes may be waring down. I told them that I was more concerned about the brakes, but if I need the alignment its ok to do both. I left and came back a half hour later and they were ready. Expecting the worst I looked at the bill. $88? I said I must be dreaming somebody pinch me. I said with a smile looks like the alignment and the brakes were ok? I was ready for a puzzled look and a, "whoops we forgot to check". But; without even taking a breath, he said nope the brakes are fine, you probably have another 10k on them and the tires were worn perfectly even no need for an alignment. I got up off the floor and said "you guys are amazing, I cant brag enough about you ". To top it off I always get a call for the service mgr (its recorded, but we can cut em some slack on that, after all who else even cares?), and am reminded that my satisfaction is important to them, and to call if there are any questions. Keep up the good work guys, there are some service places you can trust. Correction there is a service place you can trust.
I bought my first Subaru Forrester at Village and I was very impressed with them. I walked in cold and luckily i met a very honest and straight shooter... by the name of Lincoln. Yes, that's his name. He's a salesman with fantastic knowledge about Subarus. He helped me decide on the Forrester and I am so happy I did. I have had several. People tell me how good it is in the snow and how much I will love. I would highly recommend Lincoln, especially if you are not sure what car you want. He knows everything about them. I love my car and happy with the deal we made. One trip to the manager and I had the price I wanted. No playing games. I don't do that. I will walk before I do that back and forth game. Lincoln did not do that. Good luck and I hope this review helped.
First off they never called or emailed me back after I emailed them, I went in to the dealership and they sales people looked at me then walked away never... to be seen again... I stood in the middle of their driveway for 5 mins straight just to see if I could get someones attention no one came out, so I went inside the one person inside said I'm with a customer very rudely and walked away from me.
I had a good experience dealing with Zak, Vince and Chris. My daughter and I visited the dealership just to look and check out the Outback and Forester.... We met sales associate Zak and test drove 2 cars. During this Zak was very pleasant, not pushy, very helpful in pointing out things and answering all our question. We ended up sitting down with Zak and Vince. They agreed to the trade in for my 2003 Highlander that I was hoping for. So I purchased a 2015 Forester 2.5 I premium and so far I am very happy with the car. If you like a friendly, patient, not pushy sales associate with no pressure, look for Zak. Elisabeth McD.
What an amazing crew at Village. We worked with Erik while testing and then purchasing a 2003 Outback Subaru. He was excellent and thorough with his follow... through. Repairs were done with his co worker Dave, another terrific Village Subaru staff before our purchase and with the exception of a tweaking of the alignment seems to be running great. And finally, our financing was done with Chris and he was efficient, really pleasant and got us a great rate for our financing. Nice job everyone!! Thanks too to Sales Manger John for his part in helping make everything right!
I came to test drive a 2011 Wrx Wagon and a wrx sedan 2011. Off the gate they treated me like I was a poor kid with no money. Giving me attitude treating... my dad like he was a kid. I came to test drive both cars they only let me test drive 1 car the sedan. I ask if my dad can test drive they said no. So when I pulled up after the test drive I seen this BEAUTIFUL 2015 WRX. My dad asked him if he can lower down the price if i bought it. Dealer guy said this " Just because you guys come in and say you want to buy dont think ill shave thousands of dollars off the price. Ill shave a couple hundred off the price. These cars go fast once they hit the dealership." He told me it was the WRX LAUNCH EDITION. I laughed and told him. I thought only the STI come in Launch Edtion. It was a WR Blue wrx BASE model. At the end of the day he took down my information. I never called or went back there again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! ACTON MA SUBARU DEALERSHIP NEVER AGAIN
Worst experience I ever had. Sales rep made a deal with me I wasted hours getting to the dealer to literally walk in with the agreement that I would finalize... the deal only to be told that it was now time to negotiate and that these tactics were needed to bring people into the dealer. They wanted me to pay 2x what we agreed to I told them they had made a deal and they could care less. I have been to hundreds of dealers in my lifetime this is the first time I have been so clearly misled and they sold me nothing in the end since I would not accept these ridicolous terms. I was also very surprised at how bad the dealership look, very rough and tired looking. I would never choose to deal with this dump again. This was the worst waste of time I have ever had at a dealer and would reccomend anyone to go elsewhere and not be as frustrated and dissapointed as I was. Absolutely horrible!
I'm shopping for an Impreza, and I wanted to test drive a new one and a similar used one to compare them. I saw them listed here and on this dealer's own... site, and called to confirm that I'd be able to test drive them one after the other. I went in at opening time the next day. A salesman was pleasant and patient answering my questions, although he cited a spec incorrectly even when I suggested that it was wrong, until I showed him the brochure he'd handed me. However, when I wanted to move on to the test drives I'd called about, he said he'd have to check, and eventually returned saying that he didn't have that car -- that it was gone and that sometimes the website takes a day or two to catch up. It's now four days later, and the car is still listed both here and on their own site. I suspect that he felt I wasn't likely to purchase from him, and that he didn't want to waste his time on two test drives. He may be right -- I'm frugal, and if I can find a better deal through a private seller, I will. However, last time I was in the same situation, I did end up buying a new Subaru from the dealer who helped me explore options, after I found that the privately sold, used ones with the specs I wanted weren't that much cheaper than what he could offer. So, if you have any exploring to do before you'll be ready to buy, I wouldn't recommend this dealer. And, I wouldn't trust that you'll be able to actually see a car that they have listed here or on their own site.
