It was a big week in the land of Tesla, as the company paired a series of product announcements with its first-quarter earnings report for 2019.

Hot on the heels of its Model Y announcement, Tesla has some new 
 competition from a cross-state rival, plus an updated referral program and 
 a few reportedly new software updates.
In recent Tesla news, the much-awaited Model Y SUV was revealed and 
 priced, a Tesla pickup was teased, other prices went up and Musk showed 
 off his custom Nikes.
The Tesla Model Y will start at $39,000, but you'll to wait

 one at that price. More expensive models will be offered 
 first.
