Battery beats the body.

A great 2014 car, fantastic mileage. Engine and battery her flawless. 2022 now and my tailgate is resting out. It looks like the battery will outlast the car. No help from Ford whatsoever they couldn't care less. If I had had 12 years without rust I would have been happy but 8 years is a disgrace. "Built at the Michigan Plant with Pride" according to the sticker. The paint is just flaking off in places leaving the clean metal exposed to rust. Bottom of rear window and both rear wheel edges. Single owner $35,000 car been rustproofed several times and still the paint flakes off. Body shops asking $3,000 plus for repairs on the paint. Too bad I can't attach the photograph.
