  • She just felt so perfect under me

I bought a 2003 Ford Windstar SEL on November 30th of 2003. I LOVED that car! I was forced to give it up in June of 2018. I never should have let that happen. If I could get her back, I’d do it in a heartbeat. The very first time I sat in the driver’s seat, I knew she was going to be the best vehicle I have ever owned, and she was! She just felt so perfect under me - my test drive was less than 1/2 of a city block and I was sold. To the shock of the salesman, I pulled out my checkbook immediately and said, “How much?” Our family made so many memories in that car. All three of our kids learned how to drive in that car. We made so many family trips in that car. Ford messed up when they dropped the Windstar line from their fleet. I’m convinced that the Windstar was the BEST vehicle Ford ever manufactured … I keep hoping Ford will wake up and bring the Windstar back!

  • Best styling on 2003 SEL and Limited

Reliable vehicle if it was driven without salted roads due to electrical issues up North. This is my third Windstar and vehicles from the Northern states tend to have corrosion problems which causes electrical issues. I have driven in the South for a long time and no electrical issues. Reliable vehicle and had transmission replaced at 200k miles. No oil leaks, not bad for a 17 year old minivan. Too bad they ended the Windstar production.

  • Poor quality transmission. Had to replace it.

Great van. Love the interior design. Now have 308000 Kim’s on it & doesn’t use any oil. I do very stick maintenance on it. Original exhaust system.

  • This is the best minivan that I have owned.

Out of all the minivans that I've owned, this is the best one. I've owned a GMC Safari, Chevrolet Venture, or Chevrolet Astro, the Chrysler Town & Country, and a Dodge Caravan. And this one is the best oh, and the most reliable.

  • Beautiful, reliable and comfortable to ride in.

I do wish it could have Sirius as well as a bluetooth connection as I drive a lot. It is so comfortable..I like the high headrest..without having to raise it with bars. The seats are so comfortable and the stereo system is awesome..It has a plug in the back of the van so when I need to open the back hatch.I can plug things in there..lots of space.

  • Comfortable Spacious Family Van

This van is very convenient and spacious. Great when traveling with the kids. Love the adjustable pedal, which I do not find in most of the cars/vans.

  • Have Han lots of issues since warranty expired

Great driving can holds the 3 kids and all of their stuff BUT have had electrical issues for years and at 90000 has to have rebuild engine installed . Found out from several other owners had similar problems with engine. At 120000 had transmission replaced still have electrical issues and they are expensive.Like lots of folks can't afford a new car so have to throw money into this. Was offered a 2002 for free from a friend but it to had electrical issues 3 mechanics told me to pass since issues could have been minor or major

  • Not a fancy car, this is a very useful car.

This car is my workhorse. Maintaining my house requires hauling garden materials, lumber, bags of concrete. This minivan has paid for itself. The abs brake module failed at about 80,000 miles. But there are several ebay opportunities to get if repaired for about 100 dollars. Installation costs another 100. Fuel pump failed, but that is to be expected. Another small expense. Engine and transmission have been totally reliable.

  • BEST VEHICLE I HAVE OWNED

VERY DEPENDABLE AND ALMOST NO REPAIRS . WE HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS VAN SINCE 2015 WHEN WE PURCHASED IT USED AND IT HAS NOT GIVEN US ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS IN THAT TIME. IT RIDES AND DRIVES VERY GOOD AND IS COMFORTABLE FOR TRIPS. IT HAS ALMOST 159,000 MILES ON IT AND THE ONLY THING WE HAVE DONE IS CHANGE THE OIL, REPLACE TIRES WHICH IS NORMAL ON ANY VEHICLE. WE WOULD TELL ANYONE THAT THE FORD WINDSTAR SEL IS VERY DEPENDABLE AND SAFE,
