  • Most reliable car Iv ever ownd.

This car has satisfied my needs as to comfort ability and room space. It's easy to maintain and handles well on the road. Its steering and breaking handles well. Most of all I get 48 miles a gallon. With gas prices at $3.98 a gallon you cant beat that.

  • Most reliable car I ever owned, great quality

Great mileage super reliable, slow acceleration and uncomfortable seats for long journeys. For 5 years and 65000 miles amazing value, I did have my hybrid battery replaced at dealership right after the purchase with upgraded one so far at 161000 miles no complains.

  • I've owned this car for 9 years now!

This was my first purchase car! When I was shopping during 2010, gas prices was high and I know I needed some reliable and fuel efficient. I was 2nd owner of a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid with 116,000 miles. Little did I know, I paid much more than I should have for a high mileage car but so glad I did. It was quiet, clean, and it's a Honda (reputation)! 9 years later, it has 260,000 miles and is still running! I still have the car. I have no issues with maintenance at all and always done the general maintenance myself. The only bad experience I've had with the car is the estimated MPG isn't accurate, comfort not greatest for long travels (8+ hour drives), car power not the best (manageable), and hybrid battery acting funny since it's 260k miles with original hybrid battery. Overall, best bang for the car! No regrets and would recommend and buy another car again!! Ps I live in Minnesota and had all season michillen tires and drove great all season!

  • Honda?s faulty engine block left us stranded

I bought this car used in 2009. I have loved it for almost 10 years. I took great care of it, and performed all the maintenance required, which was minimal. However, last week the engine block cracked out of nowhere and destroyed the engine. There was no warning, and we were left stranded on the freeway waiting for a tow truck. Come to find out, Honda Civic models 2006-09 have a known manufacturing defect in the engine block. Honda admitted this problem and extended the warranty on this part to 10 years. This is exactly what broke on my car, but because it is just out of warranty, Honda will not replace it. I am so disappointed and frustrated. The repairs will cost more than the car is worth. I think a company this big should be able to give a lifetime warranty when it is aware of a design flaw on its part. There was nothing I could have done to keep it from happening, and that is a scary feeling. I was not aware of the problem and extended warranty, but even if I was, should I have sold my car to someone once the warranty expired and put their lives in danger? It is sad that Honda is letting these cars stay on the road and they don?t mind putting customers lives at risk. I am so sad. I have loved my Honda, but I will never be able to buy another in good faith. DO NOT BUY A 2006-2009 HONDA CIVIC unless the engine block has been replaced.

  • Reliable and lasting

This car was very comfortable and met my needs. I wanted a car that would give me good gas mileage for a decent price and the Honda Civic Hybrid did just that. I didn't have to get a Prius or other hybrid that would hurt me financially - instead I was able to get a study car for a great price.

  • Very nice to drive even with 162,000 miles on it

I love the gauges. Nice set up. It does sit a little low but it is very efficient. The only bad thing is the back seat does not fold down because of the battery. I am very happy with it and bought it with 161,000 miles on it and seem like there is still a lot of life left.
