  • 200,000 miles and still not broken in

My dad bought his 2005 lexus ls430 with about 1000 miles on it. He drove it up to around 90,000 miles where he gave it to me. I currently have 200,000 miles on it and it runs like new. He has owned about 5 cars since than and still says this is the best car he ever owned. Besides the toyota land cruiser, this may be the most reliable car ever made.

  • The Best

I owned a 99 LS400 prior to my 430. After driving the 99 I was sold and had to have another LS. I literally have never driven anything that drives like the LS. The comfort smooth ride is unreal. I plan on getting at least 500k miles or more. LS from now on.

  • LS430 #1

I have owned well over 30 cars in my lifetime at age 57. The 2001-2006 Lexus LS430 was and is the best car ever built in my opinion, I have owned now three LS430's, I have bought the newer models LS460 and even two LS500's and I kept wanting my LS430 ride duplicated and never could. NEWER is not BETTER! Just read these reviews Time after Time everyone, BEST ride,Best Quality Best Best Best....

  • Best car I’ve ever owned at 326,000 miles & great!

I bought my 2005 LS 430 ultra lux new. I have 326,000 miles on it and it still purrs like a kitten. The servicing is fantastic but not cheap. I have to say that it’s the best car I’ve ever had! I think back then I paid approximately $75k.

  • This car still feels like a big Toyota.

Had a 2001 Mercedes S430 before this car and the Mercedes does give you a heavier and a better ride. The negitive of the Mercedes is much higher maintenance repairs.

  • One of the finest cars ever built

I own the Ultra-Luxury version of this car, and there are too many features to mention. I only wish I had been able to ride in the back once or twice. Built as a limo, this is both a driver's and a passenger's dream. Reliable, very comfortable...the only thing I would have wished for is better mileage...I get 20 city/25 highway. Best car I've ever owned.

  • After owning more than 50 cars I've found a keeper

I purchased my LS430 last fall with 54K miles on the clock after 15 years of careful ownership. I replaced all the fluids and filters, dealt with a few minor issues and did a major brake service. This car is built to such a high standard it is almost unbelievable. The factory stereo is wonderful but I rarely use it - I love the silence and serenity of the cabin. It is strong, very smooth, and rides and handles well. Even after months of ownership I'm still finding thoughtful features and mind boggling attention to detail. I'm 63 and I hope to drive this car the rest of my life because it makes me smile every time I slip behind the wheel. Find a good one and BUY IT.

  • Fantastic auto.

This car was still an excellent car even though I had 253,000 miles on it when I bought a new Lexus. Style comfort, design were fantastic.

  • Looking forward to many more miles

I've done a lot of research about the LS430, and it is basically a tank. So far no issues but after a year I will come and update my review.

  • Have owned for 14 years never a major issue.

Perfect car! Quiet, powerful, luxury at it's best, rides like a dream, great stereo, every option still work perfectly and there many, ours only has 52k miles on it. It is truly like new in and out I put Lexus chrome wheels on it a few years ago, it really looks sharp.

  • A Dream scone True!

I just bought this car! I sold my 16 Prius 4, and went to the gorgeous one owner 430 in mystic gold. Absolutely quiet as a tomb inside, wonderful power, can hardly hear the engine. I feel so much safer with this car on the road, not to mention comfortable!! It has 94k miles, but these cars go 350 to 500 k miles if kept up! I hope to do that! Also the 2005 technology is just about equal to my high end Prius, although I must admit the original owner replaced the radio system with an in dash high end Pioneer screened system! Everyone is saying this car suits me, well it certainly does!!!
