2025 Toyota Camry review
Excellent gas mileage! The 2025 Toyota Camry LE model is a very smooth ride. Sporty get up and go and very agile. The driver's seat is difficult to find the best comfort for long drives. Storage space is minimal, but I found add-ons that were a perfect fit. Bottom line.... a car you can trust that pays itself off at the pump!

Mark -----, the service manager at Desert Motors, was very good, much better than your SM for my Carrera in 2004. Although $920 now for a 20,000-mile service on my 2016 Macan seemed (close to) exorbitant. I plan to send work list to a family friend who worked at a Porsche dealer. Outside temp gauge for SUV is laughably bad and mine corresponds with what other owners say. I also have suspected that ambient temperatures in Deutschland may be a factor, which makes little sense, but Macan owners do wonder why there is still no fix. Should a dealer re-boot software? https://www.macanforum.com/forum/electronics/66977-outdoor-temp-sensor-not-accurate-2.html. If temperature gauge is only problem with a Macan, then I am well satisfied, and the car is definitely a joy to drive. Thank you,
2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought the AT 4 version. Loaded. Has good ground clearance. It's powered with a 3.0 l turbocharged diesel. Has lots of horsepower and torque. I've had no problem but I talked to my friend who's a certified mechanic and they're having a lot of problems with the engine blowing up at very low mileage. A lot of the time less than 15,000. Some of them have problems with the thrust bearings failing causing increased crankshaft play back and forth to the point where the timing chain and the rubber belt that runs the oil pump can fail. The engine has been described as grenading. They're basically self-destructs. There's a specific power code that indicates low oil pressure and allowed rattle sound before it finally fails. I heard that the engines were on back order, so if you're one of the unfortunates you can plan on waiting 10 or 12 weeks or longer to get your truck back. They have to remove the cab completely to swap motors. But overall I love the truck. It's a big improvement over the 2022 I just traded in.

2024 Honda Prologue review
We bought this car on December 30th of 2025, with 41 miles on it. It was being sold as used because Honda had sold/leased it to themselves to collect the $7,500. By the time we bought it, it was down to $26,500, an incredible $30,000 discount. I'm saying this because it also is the basis for how happy I am with the car after $4,300 miles. We have had one trip to the dealer to replace a blower fan and will soon take it in for some big software updates. We have not experienced some of the issues (yet) that other people report, but we have a Honda warranty that takes us almost 8 years and 100,000. From my time on the Prologue forums, there are good dealers and bad dealers, just like any other car. Being that the Prologue is almost an orphan car (discontinued and not to be replaced), I think that it's important to find a good dealer who will stand behind the product. Now for the car: We are very happy overall with the range, the ride and the acceleration. I would say that some of the interior trim could have been upgraded a bit and I see some minor flaws in some of the trim and panel gaps. At this point I am going to say I almost love the car, but it's still early. It has sold us on having an electric car, especially with the price of gas today! I have calculated that with the price of electricity where we live in South Carolina, we are paying about $.04 a mile. If I was buying now, I would take a long look at a low mileage (probably CPO) Prologue and and stop losing $5-600 a month in depreciation.

2023 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I have a 2023 GMC Sierra Elevation crew cab 4x4 with the 2.7 Turbomax. Bought the truck used as CarBravo certified with 42k miles. I like the truck overall but have a couple of specific things that I would like to share: 1. If you are used to a V8, the 2.7 performance seems comparable to me, but the sound of the engine constantly reminds you that you are actually driving a 4 cylinder. It also feels a little more restrained than a V8 would feel in my opinion. If you’re looking for a V8 feel, skip the turbo for sure. It’s not a bad engine, just a different driving experience. 2. If you are considering this or any other GM truck, know that the factory wax coating on the frame rails is garbage. It comes off very easily and the frame rusts when that happens. Fortunately, mine isn’t too bad, and I have a plan to fix it, but it’s a maintenance pain that doesn’t have to be there. Fixing this is also an added cost I didn’t expect. Ford, Ram and Toyota all use an electro-coating process that seems to be better. The Sierra is a good truck overall, just know what you’re buying ahead of time.

It has an easy system to pop down the seats for bigger loads. My XC 60 is a super nice looking car on the exterior too. It is a great car for around town and has also been perfect for longer road trips.

2021 RAM 1500 review
I bought the 2021 Ram with an 5.7 Hemi new and I have never experienced any issues with the Ram. 2 recalls witch were taken care of while I waited. I have owned Chevy and Ford pickups in the past 50 years and I have had issues with the Fords and will not buy another Ford truck again. I would buy a Ram again as long as it has a V8 engine.

2022 Lexus RX 350 review
Love this car. Sitting in the driver’s seat is so comfortable. Silky smooth engine. Rides so nice and quiet. We have looked for this color Grecian water for a long time. 2024 Nissan Altima review
Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 review
Overall a great vehicle but I’m always concerned about potential DFM & 8L90 transmission problems. I had to replace four fuel injectors around 60,000 miles. I recently replaced a speed sensor in the transmission but this was at 110,000 miles. Others have not been so fortunate. This is not a vehicle built to be “hot rodded”. I strongly recommend 5,000 mile oil changes. Otherwise it’s absolutely the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Hope to drive it to 250k or so.

2025 Jeep Wrangler review
Incredible vehicle. Especially if you put a manufacturer 3 inch lift on it and aftermarket wheels and tires and running boards. A total beast if you can’t afford the Renegade or if you are too upside down on your trade. If you don’t know the Jeep go get one. It’s life-changing.

2022 Honda Pilot review
We decided on the Trail Sport. We live in mountains of SW Montana on a dirt road, off a gravel forest service access rd. We also transport elderly women from our church, so needed a 3rd row for seating. It's been a reliable, comfortable ride. Easy for the ladies to get in & out of. 2021 Mazda CX-5 review
The only issue I have had was the code P0126 having to do with the thermostat. This is common for this car. I was 170 miles from home when it happened. I talked to a Mazda dealer and they said I could drive it home, which I did and made an appointment with the dealer to have it fixed. It has not happened again. I am very happy with this car!

2025 Audi Q7 review
Car produced many, Almost daily issues with interruptions in safety features I.E. automatic braking not working, etc, Audi seems to have addressed this now. Comfortable, quiet and powerful car. Small third row, but nice to have. Gas mileage in city 17 mpg, improves to 29 on highway. Expensive to maintain, I’ll probably dump it after warranty is up. Depreciates a lot, so will take that.

2017 Subaru Outback review
I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

This 2021 RX is a great vehicle, everything about the RX is high quality, quiet, quick, smooth, well built. Only complaint is cabin is built so tight that I farted in car at airport parking lot. Came back two weeks later from a trip overseas and it still stunk inside.

2020 Volkswagen Tiguan review
This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

Oh wait, that's a 15 word MINIMUM... now I feel silly trying to cram all the good details into such a short statement. (facepalm) The entire experience was painless and fast, as noted; when my credit union balked at working with them they found me a competitive rate with someone who WOULD. They got documents to me quickly, and the car... well, through no fault of his, Steven LeSueur missed that the transporter picked the car up (on memorial day??) so I only got 24 hours notice that it was showing up. I was so used to those things taking forever I was off-balance for a few hours, but hey, that's what I consider a high quality problem. Speaking of which, the shipping cost was very reasonable, especially considering I saved about 6K getting the car there instead of locally. They gave me a great deal on EXACTLY the car I would have purchased if new, and getting that 4K tax credit up front made my life simpler and the loan even smaller than I was prepared to deal with. What's funny is my daughter and many friends live in Phoenix, so they now have a bit of a Northern CA booster with the locals. Oh, and there was no trade-in, so don't take the low rating as a slam; I just had no experience with it here. :-D

If you are searching for an electric mini-van your options are an SUV or the ID.Buzz. That being said, this is an amazing vehicle that fills the bill nicely. Great interior, roomy and airy, amazing exterior that always turns heads, quick charging, quick acceleration and generally the exact vehicle you think it would be. Was it overpriced when it was released, yes. Can you get amazing deals right now that bring it inline with where it should have ben priced, absolutely!

I recently purchased a GranTurismo S from sales associate Kari Lloyd. The process could not have been better. By email I arranged a time with Kari to see the car, and she asked me if I would like a cappuccino when I arrived. I told her my preference, and a cappuccino mocha was waiting for me. She also made scones the night before for me to enjoy while we spoke about the car. I had my eye on a 2011 that was a beautiful Bordeaux exterior with a light beige and black interior. We took a test drive and she showed me some of the features and spoke of others. There was never any pressure sales tactics and the sales manager was very understanding when I said I wanted to explore my financing options over the next few days. Kari kept in touch during that time by email, as I had explained to her that I work at night and sleep during the day. When I had my financing in place I let Kari know and we setup a time to meet on my next day off. Again, she had the scones and another cappuccino mocha waiting for me. I made my offer and within no more than 10 minutes I had a deal. No back and forth between the sales associate and the manager. I was completely done with the deal and had my keys in an hour and a half. Kari took time to explain functions of the car and helped pair the bluetooth from my phone to the media system. They had detailed it, filled it with petrol, made sure the second key was programmed properly and then I was off on my new adventure of owning an Italian exotic car. Just before I left, Kari noticed that something still needed attention in the car and we drove to the service bay where they cleaned a small area of the interior. Kari then let me know that the dealership was holding a car wash for their clients on the weekend following. Even though the event was booked up on their website, she got me on the list and I was treated with the same respect by other members of the team that I met. I highly recommend Kari Lloyd's professionalism and her willingness to provide extras to make one feel welcome and respected. The entire team made me feel like I was their most important customer. These days, I find customer service like that a rare thing indeed.
