Ridiculously powerful for a four-door family sedan, but it has the handling to go with it. A well-balanced car.

2013 Audi S8 review
An amazingly refined automobile. From 22 point massage seats to the Bang and Olufsen sound system. Just amazing. All outside noise is kept from the passengers with double walked shatter proof glass. The 520 Hp Twin Turbo V8 puts you into supercar territory. In a 1/4 mile, this car will eat almost any older American car in bone stock fashion. Most other of every model as well. If you want to have fun go on YouTube and do a search for Audi S8 eats super cars. It even handily does away with its wicked little brother, the R8. Of course, the driver makes the difference too. And because we came so late in the evening we missed the detailing but was promised one if I’m ever in the area. The Audi S8 (SWB) is a perfect solution with 520hp, AWD /w sport diff, exceptional B&O sound and air suspension. My three passengers ride in extreme luxury and I can maintain an aggressive pace with minimal intrusion inside, thanks to thicker glass, AUDI Sport tuning of the sport suspension and complimentary 21” wheels & tires. Understated Fun car!!

2015 Audi S8 review
Very comfy in Auto mode. Sufficiently fleet when in sport mode. B&O stereo will make your ears bleed (in a good way), if you crank the volume. I've owned/driven Audis, Alfa Quads, Z06 Vettes, Porsches, R8s and I believe this car is more comfortable when you want it to be + faster than those vehicles when you want to hoon it + all wheel drive for year round fun. And, it is gloriously anonymous to those not in the know.
