I contacted East Bay BMW with an interest in the i4 edrive40. I was very fortunate that Bobby Padilla responded as the salesperson for me. Bobby is what you hope for, but rarely get. He was personable and knowledgeable from the start. East Bay BMW had several i4 edrive40 cars on the lot. He spoke with me and my wife as we said what we were looking for. He started with an offer for a test drive, with just me and my wife in the car. A new experience for us! Bobby was no-pressure and patient with us at all times throughout with excellent support pre- and postsale. I also want to recognize Nicholas Harris for his friendly, upbeat assistance with configuring our car; there are many options, of course, and he showed us what was available, but he also suggested configs that would be best for me and my wife. I was unsure how charging with a Tesla station would work for me. With the right adapter, he drove me to a retail Tesla station and stepped me through the process. I had to drive to LA in the next couple of days, and I used Tesla stations with complete confidence. I'd have no hesitation to contact either Bobby or Nicholas in the future. Highly recommend East Bay BMW, and ask to work with Bobby and Nicholas. They are a great team.
2024 BMW X5 review
Purchased 2 months ago. Driven only 535 miles. Still on the dealership's tank of gas and have 300 mile range left on remaining gas. Most drives are within 10-15 miles of my home. A couple of 20-30 mile trips so far (40-60 miles round trip). At this rate, it could be 2024 before needing to fill the tank for the first time. Thrown the X5 into Sports Mode a few times to experience the power but routinely use electric only. Stable, great control, heads up display best I've seen, autobraking and sense of the road is great. Good visibility and neither too sporty or too luxury. It's just right.

2024 BMW X5 review
I have this car for 26,000 miles now. This is the best X5 that I have ever owned. The new engine is great on the xdrive 40i. No need for the M60. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Handling is great. Tires and much better than on the previous generation. The ride is tight and comfortable. They did an awesome job. Hopefully, this car will last as long as my previous 2010 X5.
