132 k miles and going strong! Yes it is expensive to fix but this rig has been good to me. The 3.0 engine is bullet proof and silky smooth.

Great Job!

I had to take my truck in for a recall to have the rear leaf springs replaced. They were ready for me when I got there, even though I was a little early for my appointment. I knew the job was going to take about four hours, so I brought my laptop and some other work I had to do. They have some nice cubicles you can work in with power outlets, in a reasonably quiet area. I settled in for my four hours of work, and next thing I knew my service manager was coming to get me--after only 2 hours and 45 minutes! My truck was washed and ready to roll. Overall it was another great experience at Peterson Toyota, where I always take my 2008 Tacoma and my wife's 2005 RAV4 for service.

Awesome!

I had driven by this lot a couple of times and a lot of the luxury vehicles caught my eye. We weren't exactly even shopping for a new car at the time but I sent my hubby down and he looked at a few options in more detail. I was pregnant at the time. He found an 07 GMC Denali in perfect clean condition w only 45k miles on it. Like brand new! We were in love! It was perfect for our growing family. Worked w Matt, he's great, made things easy. Price is the price advertised, no haggling on the price. Financing was made easy and we drove off the lot w no money down. We had such a great experience and told Matt to call us if he came upon a great work truck for my husband. Matt called us a few weeks later w that work truck for my husband, an 09 Ford F-350, also in perfect condition, so clean w all the bells a whistles. Went down, signed paperwork within 15 mins, all wrapped up and taken care of. So within a month we bought two vehicles here! Our good friends also had an excellent car buying experience w Matt at Image Auto Sales on Franklin. We highly recommend this place.

This is a great mid sized SUV. Not great gas mileage but roomy. Be careful driving over bumps in the road, it’s not meant for off roading.

Amazing services

I recently went to Ozzy's to check out one of their full size trucks that they had on the lot, I had a specific number in mind that I wanted for both my trade in and the full size truck that they had. I first met the salesman Lee on the lot and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the truck and recommended we went for a test drive, after we got back we went over numbers and low and behold they gave me a better deal than what I had expected for both my trade in and the truck I was buying from them. the whole team at Ozzy's was very friendly and helpful and made my car buying experience there the best that I have seen yet. I will for sure go back to Ozzy's and see Lee for any future vehicles that I want and I highly recommend anyone looking for good quality vehicles and great service to check out Ozzy's car company.

Kim makes this dealership the complete package. No matter how picky you are she will find you the right car and the right price to make it happen. She is upbeat and positive all the time and follows up to make sure you are happy. Kim will take care of you before, throughout and after the sale. Just bought my 3rd vehicle from this dealership and the second one this year from Kim. Loving my new 2019 Escape and 2018 F150 and will swiveling see Kim for any new purchases in the future!!

2003 BMW X5 Bought new w/specs I chose. Absolutely love the X5. No unanticipated expenses until a flatbed driver improperly tied down the X5, damaging both, ie right&left front axels, cv boots, and joints. Live at the beach yet NO body rust anywhere. Underbody rusted, but expected aft/16y at the beach. Meticulously maintained car w/oil/filter, brake, coolant, brake pad changes and 3 sets of tires over 106k miles. Vehicle needs new front brake lines. Previously had a used 1980 320i that lasted 10y, used 1988 535i, bot 1990 that lasted till 2003. BMW makes reliable cars if maintained per their schedule.

Cary Harp is exceptionally amazing!
by Farhad from Boise, Idaho

I would feel guilty if I were not to comment how amazing Mr. Cary Harp was in helping me and providing an exceptional services because this is the most I can do to toward him with his exceptional services he provided. I have been to many different Toyota dealer ships around the country in Seattle, VA, Florida, Pullman etc. but the service and care I received from Mr. Harp was exceptionally amazing! From my personal experience, it is such agent who communicate with you and the people in the back providing you the services. Employees like Mr. Harp actually express how great the quality of service is in Peterson. It is due to such employee that does his work efficiently and treat the costumer with dignity and respect and provide excellent services that make the company be one of the best. I am highly recommending Peterson to anyone based on the services I received through Mr. Harp. The charges were minimal and the service was fast and efficient. Mr. Harp was not like the other employees of the other Toyota dealerships I have met or came across. For instance, in one of the other Toyota dealer ship, I asked the agent, that the sensor of my car was not functioning or working well. At the end of the services, he didn't tell me anything about the issue and when I asked him realized he didn't even talk to the technician about the key issue and he started telling me that the light of the key is turning on so there didn't seem like any problem with the key. I mean he was apparently expressing that he is taking good care of me but most of us as customer know that if someone is faking or actually helping you. However, Mr. Harp handled each and everything issue or concerned of mine very professionally and resolved all the problem very well! I was absolutely impressed when he walked me to my car and even opened that door for me. I was shocked and didn't know what to do to reward him with his niceness--I am new to the American culture--I was not sure if I should have tipped him or how I should have expressed my satisfaction and happiness toward the services I received from Peterson through him. By tipping here I mean in my culture or back home tipping in the restaurant considered bad but in the U.S it is the other way around. Thus i was not sure if tipping was a good/right thing in such an occasion as I know for valet parking, restaurant etc tipping is a must or a good gesture in the U.S culture but wasn't sure here ;) Thanks again Mr. Harp and Peterson for the excellent services I received and I will always be your customer for the next few years of my stay in Boise!

I test drove it and I knew I had to buy it
by MrT from Agoura Hills, CA

I have owned this car for 2 years now and I have driven it for 25,000 miles. I am overall pleased with the car. In fact, I test drove it by chance, more out of curiosity than anything else, and I was immediately won over and decided to buy it after trying a shortlist of about other 10-12 SUVs. Is it perfect? No, but it is not half bad either. FUEL ECONOMY. I have the 6-cylinder, 4 wheel drive model. I drive about 30% city and 70% hwy. From LA to SF I have achieved 25.6 mpg on all hwy by exploiting the coasting ability of this heavy vehicle. Overall, at 25,000 miles, my average is at 22.2 mpg. Pure city driving is painful and I do not think one can achieve more than 16 mpg. Definitely not more than 17mpg. The tank is large and the range is excellent at over 500 miles of pure freeway/highway. I do not drive slow. In fact, I have taken it to over 100mph and I like to drive it in sport mode on the local canyon roads as well. However, I do not accelerate and brake all the time. COST OF MAINTENANCE SO FAR. So far $0 as it is still under warranty. Brakes... at 25k miles, according to the computer, I have still 18k miles left on the front brakes and 28k miles left on the rear brakes. So, you do the numbers. Tires, I am afraid that the Pirelli run flat tires it came with will probably not last for more than 40-45k miles. That I am disappointed. I was hoping for at least 60k miles, frankly. In 2 years I have never burned rubber as, frankly, I could not care less. 2 oil changes (free). According to BMW my driving is much better than average and the computer asks me to change the oil every 11.5k miles instead of the more typical 10k miles. COMFORT and RIDE. I do not like the standard seats one bit. Ugly and uncomfortable. I immediately went for the luxury seats which allow for seat extension and multiple contour controls. BMW should be ashamed to sell a car in that price range with those cheap standard seats. That cost me an additional $2k, but I have not regretted it, not even for 1 second. The ride is comfortable, but on bumps the car is not very pleasant, not at all. My old Honda CR-V is way more comfortable going over bumps and I can even take the bumps at higher speeds than with my X5. Noise insulation is excellent though. Not like a $100k+ car, but excellent. The Jaguar F-Pace, for a comparison was 2x noisier than the X5 when I test drove it. Beautiful car, but too noisy, frankly. Passenger seats excellent and so are the back seats. Sometimes when I need to work on my computer in between meetings I seat there and it is very comfortable (I am 6'2"- 240). Cargo space is not huge, but more than adequate for me. Third row of seats is of no use to me and so I cannot comment on that. ISSUES. Nothing mechanical or electrical, thankfully. During the first year, on several occasions, we experienced an extremely unpleasant smell coming through the A/C or ventilation system. In a few occasion it was so bad that we had to open the window. I am not dreaming it as my wife and, in one occasion even a passenger in the back seat, reported it. I felt ashamed to have a passenger experiencing that. It was bordering the nasty. Of course, when I reported to BMW, they had no idea, but other people I know with the same or different BMW models reported a similar issue. Is it condensation during the hot days of Summer? We do not know although we experience it mostly in the hot days. Another issue is with the stop and go. No complaining about the feature, but when starting uphill, even slightly, often the car produces a short cranking noise. Never happens on flats or downhill, though. BIGGEST SURPRISE. It is not a cheap car to use, but I was surprised by the cost of the license plate sticker which, in California, comes to almost $600/year. Insurance was also a surprise, although I was kind of prepared for it. I carry a good amount of insurance but, even with a clean driving record, I am shelling out around $2,400/year. When I compare it to my Honda CR-V, the only huge difference is the collision entry. AAA told me that X5 are very expensive to fix and therefore the high price. FUN FACTOR. I will not deny that it is a fun car to drive. Besides, I had to buy it after test driving it for 1 week (car rental). However, the 0-60 in 6 seconds is nothing to brag about. With the bigger engine it would be a different thing, but that model has many more issues and fuel economy is horrendous. In sport mode it is quite a bit of fun!

I've been taking my 2012 Tacoma into Peterson for about 4 years now.... And all I've gotta say is customer service at its finest. Courtney Salvesen-Blevins is usually my advisor, and keeps in touch with me constantly with any news on my services/installs, which I really appreciate as an owner while my pickup is with them. Whenever you pull your car into their service department, you always know it's in great hands. Thanks Peterson for the excellent service and I look forward to working with you all for years to come!

BMW Quality, Everywhere, in this Diesel
by New X5 Fan from Indianapolis, IN

Bought as a "new" dealer loaner with 0% BMW financing, May 2018, trading 2015 X3 with 60K. 26 mpg commuting 50 miles each workday, 30-32 mpg on the road for this large SAV. Rock solid, tight and SO quiet. M Sport package makes for a classy interior and exterior. Ride is a bit stiff, but if you enjoy driving, BMW is the brand. Hope to drive until similar-size BMW electric with range and self-navigation comes along.
