I love the way this truck converts from a passenger car to a hauler. With the mid gate down I can carry 4x8 sheetrock or plywood totally inside out of the weather. 10 foot 2x4s will go in this truck. With 400 hp it will keep up with the beat of them. Passing is no problem. Mileage is not too bad at 13 -15 mpg. I own two of these and if they still made them I'd have a new one.

I have driven this car, as a daily driver, for the better part of a decade. I am not the first owner; I’m actually the 7th! It has been all over the country, I myself driving it from Florida to North Carolina quite a bit, to city driving in DC and NYC. Reliable platform, great power, the mid gate has come into use for all sorts of loads, from cutting down trees to stone and brick. Your going to sacrifice mpg, but you should already know that if your buying a V8 6.0 liter. As far as repairs, usual wear and tear, plus this was the first year for this truck, so a surprising amount of parts are not interchangeable with the avalanche or other GM platforms. The cost for repairs depends on the mechanic and the shop; the parts are up there a bit, but cheaper than my Lexus. Still worth it, I drive this vehicle all the time. The gmt 800 platform is outstanding. I noted “having fun” as a primary use, but I use it for almost every option they had listed here.

I just purchased a 2003 Mercedes SL 500 from Jordan. He was very honest and straightfoward and there was no haggling on price. I asked about having the vehicle inspected and they transported it a mercedes specialist shop. There were repairs that shop said needed and they paid to have the repairs done. No argument . Abram and the guys were great to work with - coordinated with the mechanic for the inspection and they picked me up at the Lincoln Airport when I came to get it. Best truck I've ever owned. The ride is smooth and turns heads wherever I go. Only cons I have are the Bose stereo was not very good and the wheels were not too nice. I upgraded the stereo with a touchscreen pioneer app radio, changed all the door speakers with components and added subwoofers on a midgate box. Also upgraded the 17" wheels to 24" forged wheels and now my truck is a headturner. Gas milage is not the greatest but who buys an Escalade for that? Smiles per gallon is what its all about!

Wonderful vehicle, and plenty of looks to go with it! Gas mileage is a factor, as it's not the best, but runs perfectly fine on regular gas. Extremely comfortable, with the ability to tow.

They have a very nice Explorer SportTrac Adrenaline that I like very much. I contacted them on what engine it had, V-6 or V-8 and they responded promptly. They seem to specialize in nice 20 year old cars with very low mileage. Check out their inventory.

260,000 miles and still tight as a drum. 20-23 mpg. Comfortable. Able to haul horse trailer easily. Really sorry that GM no longer makes them. Would buy another one in a heartbeat if this on wasn't running so well.

I bought my Cadillac Escalade EXT as a low-mileage, one-owner vehicle in beautiful condition. Ihave to say that I am 100% pleased with my purchase in every way. I marked five stars on every category excpet Exterior Styling, which I gave a four. The only reason for that it that I like the newer (2007+) styling better. My Escalade offers all the creature comforts one would expect of a vehicle in this class, superb ride comfort, and the utility and convenience of both an SUV and a pickup. What more could you want? Gas mileage on vehicles of this type is going to be an issue, but I'm averaging over 15 mpg and over 20 mpg on a trip, so I don't think that's bad for a vehicle that weighs close to 6000 pounds. All in all, an excellent value; particularly when purchased used, as first year depreciation can be as much as $20,000. Mine only has 71,000 miles on it right now and performs flawlessly, but when the time comes to replace it, I will definitely buy another Cadillac Escalade EXT. There is nothing else on the market that compares.

This truck is awesome. I love to drive it. It has plenty of horsepower, comfortable seats and Bose sound system. The best vehicle, car or truck, I have ever owned. At 10 years old, it still drives as good or better than my new 2015 Escalade. Too bad they don't still make a Escalade EXT anymore.
