After the service engine light lit & checking with On-Star, I was advised of an emission system issue. When I took the still under warranty vehicle to the Dealership Service Dept., I was advised the vehicle was unsafe to drive. Lisa the Service Advisor was told of our scheduled out-of-state trip. she advised me the replacement required, the wiring harness may take weeks to receive and install. The Dealership went out of its way to provide a loaner and our original p[ans did not have to be altered. In total the problem took 19 days to correct. Lisa called and kept me informed as to the repair progress thru-out the period and reassuring me that everything was taken care of and the vehicle would be ready upon our return. It was ready for pick-up on our return with just a couple signatures required. This was the fourth SUV I'd purchased from Mike Anderson and service like this is the reason I will keep going back.
While traveling to Cleveland the day before Thanksgiving, our Veracruz died on the I90 turnpike in the middle of the night and was towed to Webb Hyundai. James and Rich in the Service Department were absolute lifesavers and made it priority to get us back on the road asap. The repair (a bad alternator) was very reasonable and service was exceptional. Without their help (Nico too), our holiday would have been ruined. Everyone involved went above and beyond and treated us like family. Many many thanks to them all. Webb Hyundai is simply outstanding!!
This is my second Certified Used Cadillac from Schepel and I couldn't be happier! I was already familiar with the dealership, but I can never get over the lengths they go to to treat their customers well. Recently I used Cadillac Roadside Assistance, and that was as professional as all their services at the dealership are. And it certainly makes a lone driver feel safe on the roads.
My wife and I were met promptly by Mike Eason who checked my vehicle in for service. Mike reviewed the vehicles past history and proceeded with the necessary maintenance which was due. The service was completed quickly and I was kept informed on the progress.
The employees at Schepel Cadillac in Merrillville are very professional and courteous. I've had to take my car in for basic oil changes and some recalls. The service department is exceptional. My time is important to me. I make the appointment, come in and no waiting! Everything is ready to go. Always willing to give me a loaner vehicle so that I don't have to wait for two hours for a recall service. They all do a great job!
Gabriel young was a great sales person very relaxed and willing to work with us. However the management was very rude and offered the car at value almost double that of the value it was worth. I would go back to the dealership to work with Gabriel young, however the manager would keep me away. I would give Gabriel Young a 5 star rating. However, the manager I would give a 1 star rating. This is due to a counter offer of 100 dollars less than the asking price on a vehicle that was exuberantly over priced.
I dealt with Joe in the service department. Joe was very accommodative for my wishes. I had scratches on my right front wheel. Joe was able to find someone to repair it. My only feedback on the repair was that it was slightly more than Joe originally quoted ($200 vs. $175). Also, which was nice, he suggested I come back in the spring to re-do the wheel and an extra wheel if needed. However, I didn't see any record of that accommodation on my sales receipt. Obviously my concern is when I call in the spring, will this repair still be honored. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and the ability to have a loner (GLC which my wife is interested in). Attentiveness of the sales agent, and his knowledge of the vehicle. Sensitivity of the sales agent to the needs of the customer. Dedication to his job, specially after we learned that he was at work, on his desk, on his day-off!
