We bring our Rav4 to Machens for service and have never had any issues. The service department always does excellent work, with original Toyota parts I know we can trust. Terry Pruett is very pofessional, friendly and thorough. I heartily recommend these guys.
I contacted Joe Machens through Cars.com inquiring about a used vehicle. I told them I lived 2hrs away. They said they would work with me as much as possible. I had a trade in vehicle too. All they asked for were pictures of the car and the VIN and they gave me a trade-in offer. The deal was worked out to it's fullest extent. However, the timing wasn't good enough. I decided to wait a few months for taxes to come back. The amount of help they provided and the professionalism exuded has been the best I have seen in my life so far. I will return to this dealership when the time is right.
Starting with online search to quick response about questions, to e-mailing for more information, to visiting dealership 2 hours away and test driving, then purchasing a 2017 Ford Explorer, we were treated with decency and respect throughout. We got to work with Darin Knipp and he was amazing. We came in looking for a good SUV in our price range and with good millage. He showed us many SUV's that would have been great for us even with our "demands " in what we wanted for a SUV and he finally showed us the SUV that we loved. He worked with us and the bank to make sure that we would be able to take this car home and not have to look any farther. He was very polite and was great with our little one even when she was loud and always asking questions. I would recommend Darin to help with anyone's car buying experience. I had bought my 2010 Impala from Dennis Lohe 3 years ago. My sister and her husband have always bought from Riley’s and trust them and they were right. Even though I live in Kansas City I know I get the best deal at Riley’s. So when I ready I emailed Dennis and told him what I wanted based on inventory on website and year end deals. I was upside down in my payments on the Impala and new I needed to trade it in! Everyone there worked with me and I LOVE my Equinox! Never once did I feel pressured by Dennis or other staff. They gave me best deal possible in the Impala and let my sister and I test drive around town on our own. Again that’s why I come to Riley’s!! My first new car, only 7 miles when we first test drove it. Since the two weeks I have had it, I have not been disappointed in my choice! Thanks again to all the guys at Riley’s, especially Dennis Lohe. I know I can still call him anytime if I have a question!
Overall, I have had good, solid service from the dealership. Small details have been missed during some instances where larger jobs consumed most of the time but they were minor enough that I did not feel the need to bring them to the service manager's attention.
