will begin by saying dealing with car salesmen and car dealerships have always been a nightmare. I’ve bought or leased many cars and trucks over these many years and in each case the salesmen and dealerships annoyed me and tried squeezing every penny out of me. Buying a car became a 5-hour ordeal. And then I was told I should visit Wickstrom in Barrington. So I did. Dealing with Wickstrom and Don DiPaulo was unlike any other car experience I had. There was no “add this” or “you really need undercoating - now!” The entire experience was painless - Don DiPaulo was very pleasant and accommodating and (I couldn’t believe this part) I didn’t want to strangle him and (even more unbelievable) i was out of there in less than 90 minutes. I do recommend heading to Wickstrom next time you’re thinking of buying a car or truck. You’ll be surprised, pleased and delighted at how well you are treated - especially if you search out Don DiPaulo.
