2003 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class review
I bought my 2003 mb SL500 in 2023 with 30,000 original miles. It runs excellent has a bullet proof engine and design will always be IN vogue cuz of its sleek design. I got all the previous repair receipts from original owner which is great to know the history. As with any 21 yr old car there may be repairs. I have a great MB independent repair shop called Star Motors in Gainesville Fl who really knows these cars and they fix them right and for less than a dealer. Sure thing’s can go wrong and I have found repairs about 25% more than Honda or Toyota. One has to factor in repairs no matter what. I like the 5.0 engine and one thing is they last! They ride so smooth on the wide tires on the highways and there tight steering. Bose sound system still working great afte all these years. Buy one have it inspected if your worried. There in my view great cars. Depreciated a lot since new at $100,000 out the door. So paying 15k to 20k is a bargain. You’ll love it!

2013 Porsche Boxster review
Not a daily driver. But, by far the most fun car I’ve ever owned. Bought a 2013 S MT in 2015, still can’t part with it in 2024. This one’s a keeper. It is a pure joy to drive, mostly top down but even top up, the flat 6 boxer engine sound is incredible. Handling is superb - it’s like the car is an extension of the person driving it…the car goes where ever you want it to go effortlessly and nimbly…it’s amazing! The 981s MT is an incredible value. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

2019 Mercedes-Benz AMG C 43 review
Oh man. What a fun car to drive. I have the cabriolet and it is awesome to drive on a sunny day. Great handling around curves and great acceleration when needed. No noticeable turbo lag of torque steer. Only wish there were more roads around to push the envelope.

2009 Aston Martin DB9 review
I own a newer 2014 Aston Martin DB9 Volante and can say they are absolutely awesome cars, and this is coming from someone who has owned Lamborghini, Corvettes, Dodge Viper, Mustangs, Camaro's etc... 2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 63 review
Awesome power, incredible braking, unbelievable handling and a fantastic exhaust note!!!! This car is absolutely amazing! The interior is gorgeous and the seats are incredibly comfortable. The Burmeister sound system is terrific. I never want to get out of the car. If you can’t ever seem to get enough power, it’s worth the money to get the SL63’s engine over the SL55. The extra 100+ horsepower gives you an experience you won’t believe.

2012 Chevrolet Camaro review
What a great car to drive. I beat on this 2ss constantly with absolutely no problems ever. As far as Evelyn and the blend door, you never have door issues if you don't drop pens or mascara and stuff down from the dash and jam it up. I haven't had one problem in 100,000 very very hard miles and 4 or 5 sets of tires. Overall an amazing fun car

1992 Porsche 911 review
I think the 964 has gotten a bum rap. I have owned a 1992 Model 964 for 7 years. It has been very reliable. It isn't particularly fast by contemporary standards but fast enough for most traffic and road conditions. I was a bit concerned about the dual mass flywheel issue with the 964 but after forking over a few thousand for various deferred maintenance shortly after buying the car it has been very trouble free.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro review
I’ve always been a huge fan of Camaros. I had been in the market for a couple of years, lo and behold this Camaro became available. From the moment that I saw its sleek style to the first time I sat in the drivers seat that just seems to wrap around me up to when I fired it up and felt the horses run on this powerful V6 engine, I fell in love. This car fits me well. The throttle response is unbelievable. Steering is nothing short of effortless. The exhaust tone gives me a reason to turn off the stereo. As the the commercial from the 70’s says… Try it, you’ll like it!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. 2020 BMW Z4 review
I upgraded to the 2020 Z4 M40i after having a 2006 Z4 3.0i. The exterior styling and sound gets looks and complements at least once a day when driving. The interior is modern and has lots of the most up to date technology, although I wish less plastic was used. It drives awesome, and I am very pleased with the car.

The car proved to be a great purchase which was difficult to secure in seven prior attempts at other sites. Delivery was flawless. 2008 Pontiac Solstice review
I absolutely love my Solstice GXP. It's got all the pep you could ever want,it handles & corners like it's on rails! I laugh everytime I see & easily pass Miata's,what a joke they are. I see people complaining about no storage space with these cars! Yes a little more space would be nice but that's what my truck is for. I go every 2 weeks & get groceries & supplies & I spend between $250-$400 and i can get it all in the car. And there are big items in there like 2 cases of pop,a big pail of Cat litter (the 35 lb. pail) and lots of other items. 12 rolls of paper towels, I do use the passenger & floor too but I can get it all in there. I also see people complain about cup holders,and somewhere to put change. The guy in Delaware. There are pockets on the front of both seats,rear of them too. Also the cup holder on the passenger side of console by their left knee,as well as the 2 behind your right elbow. If it bothers you that much buy the aftermarket cup holder for these cars! I'm 6 ft tall & don't have any sight problems he complained about,my Solstice has a power seat button that raises & lowers the drivers seat (only) not forward & back. The button is between your knees more on the left side. I had my car for almost 3 yrs before I discovered this. LOL I took the seat out to install some wiring for the interior lighting I put in,that's when I saw it. The only thing I can complain about is the location of the power window buttons. When I rest my right arm I accidentally hit the buttons and the windows go down. But that's not a big deal. Besides this winter when I put the car away I'm going to relocate them to the center console behind the shifter,because I can! The stereo system is quite impressive for a factory unit. I've had several thousand dollar Alpine,Nakamichi,ADS,Eclipse,Denon systems in my cars thru the years & this is comparable. Could use another subwoofer,to really get the bass i want. But it rocks! My brother always says I can't believe that's a factory system!!!. I love my Solstice. Everywhere I go i get asked what kind of car it is,how fast it is,and they love the color,Mean Yellow! I get alot of looks,especially when I get out of it because this spring i installed the Lamborghini door kit. So people really freak out when they see that. I think for giggles I'm going to buy either Lamborghini or Ferrari emblems to put on it. LOL I did tgat on a Dodge Neon i had years ago, i put Chevy emblems on it. When i traded it in the salespeople laughed hard when they saw it. I bought it in August of 2018 with 13,000 miles,I've got 36,000 on it now & haven't had a single problem. None!!!!

2014 Lexus IS 250C review
I'm 6 foot 4 inches and I have to say...I fit well in this IS250C and comfortably. It handles corners super well and has pick up when needed. The outer body is very sporty and with my add on's such as sport spoiler, and new LED headlights, and side trims, this car looks super sporty. The interior is nice and i upgraded it so now it looks as modern as most new lexus cars. A must buy even today.

With those hits no movement on price on an overpriced vehicle no surprise they reached out later offering a lower price. Too late closed on a much nicer specimen for less. If you can put up with it's ridiculously small interior, this car is great--it runs well (I have over 300K miles on it now), even though repairs are a little costly when they are finally needed, and it gets on down the road REALLY well!

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

I HATE buying a car because of all the games you have to play. Here, there were no games. Prices are posted. Either you want the car or you don't. They will offer you a fair price for your car. Either you take it or you don't. No pressure, no games. Just very nice people who were very helpful. This will be the first place I look when looking for another car. I love that you can shop online, put a hold on the car and go and look at it when it is convient for you. None of this, "I can't promise it will still be here tomorrow." games. They will hold it up to 7 days. I only asked for 2 days. It gave me enough time to look around and decide that I really did want the car at Carmax. Love my car, loved the experience. Try them first if you don't like the car buying game.
