I have driven many BMW’s but this one surpasses them. Not only does it have an amazing look but the feel and sound of a V8 is no comparison. I can leave it in comfort mode and relax or put in Sport and everything changes. I hope BMW leaves this one alone along with the M5 and not make into the electric garbage with these horrible grills.

I upgraded to the 2020 Z4 M40i after having a 2006 Z4 3.0i. The exterior styling and sound gets looks and complements at least once a day when driving. The interior is modern and has lots of the most up to date technology, although I wish less plastic was used. It drives awesome, and I am very pleased with the car.

Have had my C63 for just under a year now and no issues to report thus far. The ride is what you’d expect from a sport tuned car, stiff for sure but not unforgivable. The interior looks fantastic from the drivers seat and everything feels and looks of quality built, I will say however that if you use the sunglasses holder it causes a most maddening rattling in the car. Other then that I wish the cup holders offered a bit more grip as I hate things moving around while driving. The rear seating area only has the 2 vents with no other accessory ports or climate control. The exterior styling is excellent and I love the aggressive stance and contours that make it stand out easily from your standard C class. The black AMG wheels look great especially like mine with the silver paint and carbon fiber trims however, be ready to spend at least once a week doing a deep clean of those wheels because the brake dust is relentless. Also I wish it was just a bit lower in the rear. Finally the performance: this car will absolutely put a smile on your face everytime, I am always surprised as to the noises I get from that AMG exhaust. The emotion start feature is great too for when you want people to know, this ain’t your aunts C250. I absolutely love the angry burbles, cracks, and rumbles of that exhaust. The engine is poised and mild mannered in comfort settings and becomes an angry high reving monster in the sport modes, I like that it has sport and sport+ also for that extra and in between rush you’re looking for. I personally like the nice heavy feel to the steering wheel and it’s extremely tempting to not want to whip the xxx around at every turn. It does take some getting used to at the corners to avoid looking crazy with unexpected wheel spin. Ive yet to do a proper launch on it since I’ve still been getting used to it, being my first RWD car. Overall this is an incredible machine that will always remind you why you bought it. I feel almost smug driving this around as it gets plenty of compliments and of course hate from your local mustang/mopar boys.

Recently purchased a 2024 4 series convertible. Love the way it looks and drives. ‘Ordered the car with the assumption that it had the cruise control and lane as dust that I was used to in my other vehicles. This car does not come standard with a front facing camera. Also does not come standard with the cruise that is what I call “radar” cruise. Just putting it out there for anyone shopping. I do love the car.

Surprisingly an excellent value for sports car. Bought mine used and quality is still intact. The reliability has proven to be very good. A fun DIY car that is easy to work on. Parts are priced reasonably well and readily available. The Mercedes roadability is the true fun factor. Classic Mercedes styling, being a unique hardtop convertible, and name, will win many over now in and in the future.

I recently had my Ghibli serviced there and was surprised with the level of care I received. Practical, stylish, and quick, the G29 Z4 sDrive 30i excels as a summer sports car with a surprisingly large trunk (soft top doesn't intrude). At 6'3", I fit comfortably, even more so than in previous SL500/SLK350s. It easily accommodates two people and weekend luggage. The B48 turbo inline-4 is efficient (averaging ~28 mpg) yet delivers strong performance (0-60 in ~5.5s). The ZF 8-speed transmission is a responsive partner, offering versatile driving modes (EcoPro to Sport+), with paddle/shifter control. Handling is exceptional with the staggered 19" Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, holding traction even when pushed hard. The ride can be firm due to the short rear overhang, a trade-off for the Z4's superior cornering compared to the more comfortable but less engaging SL500. The i7-adjacent infotainment is user-friendly with physical climate controls and includes active cruise control, backup camera, and parking assist. Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and the OEM interface are both good, though the optional wireless charger can overheat phones. Numerous customization options exist, with aftermarket apps (BimmerCode) offering even more. Comfort is good with supportive seats (plenty of legroom for a tall driver), excellent wind management with a removable blocker, and a calm cabin with windows up. The ability to operate the soft top at speeds up to 30 mph is surprisingly useful, and it can also be controlled via the key fob. A minor annoyance is the center armrest's asymmetrical opening and the passenger-side cupholder cover hindering armrest use and cup retrieval. Also, the aggressively bolstered, somewhat narrow seats might not suit wider individuals – a test fit is recommended. Interior storage is adequate with door pockets, under-dash space, enclosed center console (cupholders), and a rear tray with trunk access. The insulated soft top ensures a muted cabin with the top up, and the Harman Kardon sound system is impressive. Phone calls remain clear even with the top down. Overall, the G29 Z4 sDrive 30i is a reliable, efficient, stylish, and comfortable convertible, my best yet and one I intend to keep.

At first glance you ask yourself... what did I buy. It looks small and very low to the ground. You manage to get in and start the car. The engine roars to life and it's louder than what you might be used to. The seat hugs your body and you begin to get comfortable. First gear sprints the MX-5 into what feels like a roller coaster ride. It's lively and fun, and you tell yourself... yeah, I can get used to this.
