2002 Jaguar XKR review
Owned two in the last 10 years. Started out on the first one researching every used bang for your buck performance convertible out there. Hands down it was this. And timeless elegant styling that will draw a lot of compliments and look like you were driving a much more expensive car than what you can get them for. Under Ford these cars became extremely reliable. Highly recommend them. And highly recommend spending a lot of time on the Jaguar forums out there. You can learn so much.

Excellent experience. When I called, Joe answered all of my questions. Made me feel confident that the car would meet my needs before I spent the time to go and actually see the car. He had the car ready for a test drive when I showed up. There were some minor issues which he promised to address. He was flexible on the purchase process allowing me to make a deposit with balance upon pickup. I couldn't get there to pickup the car during the dealership normal hours and Joe came in after hours to meet me to close the deal. He had fixed the minor problems and in the process found one that I missed and had it repaired as well. Made the purchase/paperwork a seamless and effortless process. I drove the car an hour to get back home and it performed as expected. I've been driving it now for a week with no unforeseen problems. All together and excellent experience.
1995 Nissan 300ZX review
This car sits 95 % of the time as I have other cars. However every time I think about selling it I drive it and realize how magnificent it is the car is fun in all ways love the top down on the road. I do some work on the car myself but it is a complicated vehicle to work on. There really is nothing that I see out there now that is affordable in this much car. If you got one I would keep it.

1993 Nissan 300ZX review
Had this car as a young, newly divorced Marine Staff Sergeant, on Recruiting duty in a MAJOR southern city. It would turn heads, attracted many females, especially single Moms of kids I enlisted. I loved it. When I got married and had a daughter, it wasn’t practical, so traded it for a Maxima. Same engine I believe! Mine was red with brown leather seats!

2002 Ford Thunderbird review
In 2002 they sold over MSRP adjusted for inflation @$54K in todays money- pricier than the 2002 Corvette and sold like 30,000 that year. I think that new car buyer had to probably be searching for the 1955 Thunderbird experience to shell out that kind of cash, and most people born on the 60’s and 70’s just didn’t understand that appeal. Oddly, the demographic that did BABIED their cars, kept up maintenance, have all the original tools and covers (just try and find that T-handle wrench for the hard top for example) when you get lucky enough to get a shot at buying one of these babies cars you’ll find they’re sharp and quick, amazingly so despite what people someone lent one to to write about said 20 years ago. Shod with 17inch tires 🛞 and solid suspension, people can complain about the horsepower being light, but stomp it and it will jump, zoom and weave solidly with the best of them. My drive home from buying this car was a blast. Will other sports models eke out slightly better speed, power and performance over these 20 year old T-birds? Sure, why not. Does it matter if you’re not at Road Atlanta? No. For me, this a sleeper sports car that’s about to bust onto the scene and see its reputation finally living up to the 2002 Car of the Year Award Motor Trend gave it. I think you need to find one of these babied sweethearts like I did. It’s a blast to find a good one and discover what an under rated blast it is to drive. Can’t really call it super nimble, but I respect mines solid ride and reasonably quick response & rocket like performance. The incredibly clean lines scream style visually and I suggest that a 2 tone leather optional interior is worth an extra $1K (over the basic. $11-12 K value) a hard top/rack/tonneau cover intact is worth another grand. ($13-14K total seems fair generally for a babied one). Check the rubber suspension parts underneath (inside the front wheel well behind the tire) is the easiest one to check quickly for rot w/o getting under the rear).

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

Under the rear seat it leaked water from the outside when driving in rainy conditions. I upgraded the stereo system and it was better for listening to music on the interstate and hi ways with the top down. I’m hoping to find another car soon.

2016 Jaguar F-TYPE review
I purchased my 2016 F Type R AWD last December 2022. Since then I have driven about 2000 miles without issue. I test drove everything from 911 to AMG GTS before purchasing the F Type. Lots of AWD HP without fish tailing. Can drive for hours at a time with comfort. Lots of attention, it was a little weird at first. Modification not necessary. I highly recommend.

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Hello, Steve in service was awesome I was having a problem with my battery in Pendleton I headed toward the Lexus dealer in Greenvile , it was almost 4:00 PM, I CALLED Steve on my way and told him my problem and that I was coming hoping to make it be 4:30, I did, Steve was waiting for me and took the Lexus SUV 350 straight back to the mechanics and before I got comfortable in the lounge he told me it was the battery and the cables, I agreed to fix it right then and they were finished with the repair plus vacuum and washed the car. Paid Steve and I was on my way home by like 5:15/5:30. Steve was great and I was thrilled with the service he gave me and the warranty. Thank you so much especially being a widow it’s so nice to have dependable people like Steve and Lexus of Greenville to help me. I won’t use anyone else and will recommend you.

2018 Nissan 370Z review
Standing at 6'4, my biggest surprise is fitting in the car and being comfortable. It's a sporty car with potential. The only downside is the response. On low speeds it bucks and almost idles between gears. If you floor it, there's a crazy 3 second delay for the engine to realize it should GO. When it does finally GO, it really GOES.

2024 BMW 430 review
Recently purchased a 2024 4 series convertible. Love the way it looks and drives. ‘Ordered the car with the assumption that it had the cruise control and lane as dust that I was used to in my other vehicles. This car does not come standard with a front facing camera. Also does not come standard with the cruise that is what I call “radar” cruise. Just putting it out there for anyone shopping. I do love the car.

2021 BMW 230 review
BMW 230i with MSport, non-runflat performance tires. Mine, a factory order, was one of the last imported into the U.S. with a manual transmission. The car is fun to drive, is a nimble handler and the engine performance is strong. The weakest link, well documented, is the electrically assisted power steering, which lacks the feedback of the older hydraulic systems. The car is a great long distance cruiser, with the cockpit a comfortable office for long drives. Also a real pleasure on winding and undulating Pennsylvania back roads. The seats are comfortable and supportive, the interior quality high.

2015 Audi A3 review
I bought used with 80k 2015 A3 cabriolet, I immediately replaced the water pump and reservoir, I did delete those ridiculously oversized mufflers and did resonator delete and brought some life to tone. I drive 40 miles a day 5 days a week and I enjoy it on the weekends and I absolutely love this car! It has sport car quality yet luxurious at the same time. I did do some performance upgrades and OMG I this car is a little beast! I just tuned it and the transmission was tuned and motor mount inserts and a k&n filter (stock airbox) and some structural upgrades nothing big some braces and bilstien shocks added CarPlay oh yeah and performance rotors. All these added parts were not much $$$, the car was good when I bought it but it’s Great now!!!! I love my car and I intend on buying another one when I hit 120k miles. The car runs like a dream and still looks good after 11yrs
