2019 Dodge Challenger review
I've owned Porsche 911, a G35 and now this baby. I originally leased it for a few years and was going to give it to my son for his 16th birthday, but decided to keep it as it is STILL so much fun to drive. Fast, zippy, not one problem in 4 years. Just replaced the battery (AAA said I didn't need to, but after 60K, better safe than sorry). Replaced the tires at 40K. Other than that, regular oil changes. LOVE IT.

2011 Cadillac CTS-V review
Incredible vehicle. Best price & performance in class when released. Daily driver that can haul 5 people in luxury and still hang with the new Corvettes of its time: 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, 1/4 mile in 12 seconds @ 120mph, top speed 198 (Although the automatic was electronically limited to 178mph). Bullet proof engine & drivetrain. Cheap to maintain. Used ones are a bargain. Where can you get a 550+ hp Reliable luxury sedan for under $40k? Prices appear to be rising, perhaps due to rarity and that the CTS-Vs are no longer being produced.

2013 Aston Martin V8 Vantage review
Fun to drive, "cheap" to buy used - yet I think it projects a lot more class and exclusivity than a 911 or R8. The automatic manual doesn't do too well at low speeds and it needs getting used to at low speeds. Hard to beat sound (engine). Had mine over 3 years and no problems. Compared to other hand made British cars, it is not that expensive to maintain. Decent trunk space, very well appointed interior - and a lovely pen built into the dash board. Navigation system seems antiquated compared to other 2013 cars in that class. A lot of sports car without being obnoxious about it.

2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 53 review
I'd been trying to place an order with my authorized MB dealer for over a year but not for this car; rather, it was for an E53 Cabriolet in the same colors and premium interior. Due to the chip shortage and the transition to electric cars there simply were few allocations available for the E53 Cabriolet so when my dealer received a special order model - Rubellite Red Special Edition - they offered it to me and one look and I was smitten. It's a far cry from a convertible but more than makes up for it by virtues of its own. I've owned the predecessor to the AMG GT 4-door (the CLS63S) but was surprised at the nimble and surefooted handling of this big and heavy car! While this new model is a hybrid with less HP than my old CLS63S, it is plenty powerful and fast enough for the kind of driving I do around town. The car I traded in was a 2018 C63S Cabriolet and even though that car was smaller, lighter and more powerful, I find the GT53 to handle better and accelerate almost as well so whatever difference there is in the weight/power ratio is negligible. The GT53 is more refined than the C63S so the exhaust is more muted and I'd prefer a little more of that sound making it into the cockpit but on the other hand, the GT53 makes for a smoother and quieter ride than the C63S which more than makes up for not getting all the pops and bangs from the exhaust during spirited driving and downshifting. My only gripe is that despite the plush look of the diamond-quilted seats, they are quite firm and I wish there were more cushion in the seat bottom. There is a lot to learn about the infotainment system but using "Hey Mercedes" certainly is helpful. I've only had the car a short while so I can't comment further just yet but so far, the honeymoon phase is in full swing.

2017 Ford Shelby GT350 review
Overall, if you're looking for a step above any Mustang, this is it. But you have to understand what you're buying. The 5.2 Voodoo engine is an engineering masterpiece, no other Ford engine sounds close to it. It is a review happy engine, but you need to put your head in that of a racing driver, not a regular commuter. Oil level, temperature and pressure are all items that need to be checked prior to ringing out this motor for all its goodness. The suspension is harsh compared to a typical Mustang, but it's liveable. These cars were only offered in a 6 speed manual, so that "automatically" removes it from many people's lists. All in all, it's a driver's car, it's special and if you understand that and get the chance to drive one, you won't be sorry.

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. 2001 BMW M review
I had always admired the looks of the Z3 roadster, but the M version has a more muscular stance and incredible performance. 0-60 in under 5 seconds . . . A few seconds later your doing 100 and you are only in third gear! It keeps asking for more! Some may not appreciate the interior styling with its retro analog gauge cluster, but to me this adds to the romance and charm of this vehicle. So much more appealing than the stark dash panel of the newer Z4/M. I've had this car for two summers. It gets compliments wherever I go. It may be too tight if you are over 6'2". I'm 5-11 and it fits me perfectly.

2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
This car should be classified as an “exotic”. The S550 Coupe is by far the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Well, our 2008 S63 AMG was a monster, but very heavy. The ride is harsher than expected over rough roads, but it isn’t close to a deal killer. The interior is perfect, but the controls were clunky at first….until you get used to it.
