It stands to reason that the atmosphere at a luxury showroom would differ from the chaotic, high-pressure environment at most dealerships ... and such is the case here. I inquired online about the SUV I was interested in, and was promptly contacted via text (at my request, no phone call) by Walter Dillard. We were warmly greeted on arrival, and the test drive went well. Two other cars were on our short list, and we advised Walter that we'd contact him if the '19 XT4 Premium Luxury was our choice. There was absolutely none of the typical annoyances when leaving most places without pursuing a sale ... no manager, no "price is good for today only", but rather a thank-you, with the hope that we'd choose the Cadillac ... never even went back into the showroom. After checking out the other possibilities, we decided that the XT4 was the best of the bunch. Meeting the following morning, we further explored the tons of features (Walter really knows his products) and sat down to begin what is generally a tortuous, confrontational experience. To our delight, the negotiation was calm and very professional. Even the offer for our trade-in was realistic. The usual back-and-forth-to-management thing played itself out, and we came to terms on probably the third exchange. We'd like to have paid a bit less (who wouldn't) but given the fact that they included free vehicle pickup and delivery for service (including a loaner), as well as the first three oil changes (full synthetic), it was fair compensation. This is not to say that Peacock is immune from some "car game" practices. The Certified XT4 was priced at $X, but an additional charge was added for certifying the vehicle, along with a "reconditioning fee" (isn't getting it ready for sale a cost of doing business?) and "dealer service fee" (I thought dealer prep was a thing of the past) ... so we're now at $X plus about $3k. We're savvy enough to scratch those items out, but many people aren't. Funny thing, though ... they manage to reappear, while the drive-out price remains as agreed. Fun and games with numbers! We were paying cash, but had to transfer funds. This was a Saturday, so we offered to apply for financing in order to drive the vehicle out, paying it off when the transfer clears. The Finance Manager, Skeen Mathias, offered to let us take possession of the car that day, while providing a UPS overnight envelope, so that we could forward our check when the money became available. We were also informed that Tom Peacock will provide three bonus perks at no cost: key replacement, interior/exterior protection and collision deductible reimbursement (there are limits, of course). We were obviously more than pleased. Overall, Tom Peacock is a really good place to buy. Walter Dillard is a genuine sales professional, and will treat you as the intelligent and informed consumer you are ... but just watch out for the add-ins.

When visiting the service center, Chris has been excellent with providing thorough review of car. He ensured we had what we needed since our car would be in service a few days and checked in regularly to ensure we were still doing ok. If visiting service please ask for Chris

I test drove both the Model 3 and Model Y in snowy conditions, and had not a single bout of fear that I may lose control. Very responsive and comfortable car. You feel on top of the world. The features are great. The car rides as if it knows what you want to do. The massage chair is so worth it when you are in traffic or have long commute. This car is made for people who enjoy luxury but don’t want to pay for the high gas.

Rees was my greeter and was an excellent source of information and sales expediter. Rees explained the CarMax process and then Listened to the car features I required. He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home. It was my first solo car buying experience so I especially appreciated that I got a car that suited me at a fair price and no hassle

I bought this and have no complaints. It is a solid ride, super fast and fun to drive. It is very futuristic and I think it will hold its value mostly because there will be few sold due to tariffs and trumps anti EV stance. If VW could sell the cargo version in the US, there would be a million on our roads within a couple of years. I love my ID Buzz and am excited to drive spending less than $1.00 to go 30 miles.

My appointment was with someone else, but after waiting about 15 minutes, I was approached by Sales Manager Michael Mullings who kindly offered to help. He connected with the person with whom I was scheduled to be sure it was ok. This was the first indication of his strength of character and professionalism. Michael was an absolute delight to work with. I was not sure what I wanted to purchase, so he showed me all options and full explained the differences. We ended up searching the used car inventory and took one out for a test drive. He was kind, unassuming and very patient with me. He even worked late to help me, since I needed to purchase a car very quickly. The next day, we negotiated a price via phone and I was able to come in after work to complete the purchase. He had the car detailed and paperwork ready to go on my arrival. So I was only there for about 30-40 minutes. Then he and another salesman kindly helped me get my current and new car to my apartment complex which was only 5 minutes from the dealership. As a woman, I appreciated Michael treating me with respect and kindness, and most of all, like a serious buyer. I purchased my 2024 Audi Q8 E tron about 6 months ago. I wanted to get into an electric car and with the new Q8 update the time was right. When I purchased the car the demand for EV’s was still very high. Audi has some more incentives now that consumers can take advantage of. The SUV is a beautiful luxury vehicle that I highly recommend. I purchased the Prestige package which has everything including massaging seats, color changing interior LED lighting and some other lighting on the exterior. These SUV’s are not cheap but I did not want to regret Geary options so I chose the Prestige trim. The ride, attention to detail and style of this suv is amazing. I get compliments all the time. This is my first EV so I had to learn that you typically should keep the car charged between 20-80%. Keep this in mind when shopping for your EV. The EPA range listed for the Q8 Etron is around 290 miles on a full charge. My driving is a mix of city and highway and there is no way I could ever get anywhere close to that. On a full charge my range is about 240 miles. Now I will say if you drive exclusively in the city you will get better mileage as the car regenerates power with frequent braking. If you drive on highway above 70 mph you will see your mileage drop. So in conclusion I love this suv and it is beautifully put together but I would not recommend if you have to make long trips. We have a ICE car so we can use that for long trips.

Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.
