2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2012 Ford Edge review
I have a 2012 Ford edge sport with 228,506 miles on it. Still driving strong. I love it. It has the 3.7 L V6 in it. It moves fast. I feel safe like it’s all around an amazing SUV it’s been one of my favorite vehicle so far I can’t believe that Ford is Discontinuing The Ford edge. I think it’s stupid but that’s just my opinion

2012 Ford Explorer review
We have owned a 2012 explorer since it was brand new. Lots of room for cargo. Lots of leg room Powerful We do routine oil changes on it Amd fix whatever needs tending to…..Our yearly to year and a half maintenance that needs doing is rear bushings that run about 350 The paint chipped on the front hood a few years back but no rust there yet. I am starting to notice a bit of rust starting down by driver door probably from salt from the roads in our Canadian winters. But it handles amazing on ice and snow (with winter tires of course). Driver door rear has started to unstitch. The original Headlights were phenomenal to see down our dark deer filled hiways. However we changed them out and they are not in comparison to what we had. We also just changed our brakes. For having 282+ KMs in it. I will be driving it until it drops

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2016 Ford Explorer review
2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

2019 Ford EcoSport review
The car is greater than the sum of its parts. I think it was a bit overpriced for what it was when it was released here in America - but as a used car it is great. It is 2026 and I just bought a 2019 2.0 4cyl SES with 25K miles for my 16 year old daughter. It is the cutest thing - like a VW bug of yore. I really like it and find reasons to drive it. I am 6' tall and feel very comfortable in the driver's seat. It is easy to maneuver and I find the car inside and out very simple but elegant and unpretentious. If you need a little more zip merging onto the highway drop it into S mode and it does the job. It is a great car for her to gain driving skills while going to school and volleyball.

2019 Ford Explorer review
On my third explorer. Tried switching to a Durango and went back after 3 months lol. Great, reliable car! Super comfy! At 47k miles so far never had any issues (so far) except my hood started to rust but ford has a 5 year paint warranty so just had a new one put on a month ago and it’s perfect now

2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

2022 Ford Escape review
I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

I purchased a vehicle from Ford of Boerne earlier this year. I was impressed by a young salesman, Joseph Alvarado, who knew the Ford lineup surprisingly well. Beautiful dealership with great inventory to choose from. We had a few rubs but I was extremely happy with the vehicle. The King Ranch F-150 was about the nicest vehicle I have owned. I bought a travel trailer, a bit larger than planned. I decided I needed a bit more muscle and made a great deal on a new 2026 F-250 King Ranch. Waiting on Joseph to deliver it as I finish this. Check out Ford of Boerne you will like them.
2024 Ford Edge review
7 Ford Edges and the 2024 is rock solid yet quiet and great performance. Everyone wants to use the Edge when we go anywhere. The controls are easy to use for non distracted driving. Long road trips are un eventful and tires last forever. Loading space in the rear is flat easy and lots of space. Good visibility and safe.

2022 Ford EcoSport review
New 2 weeks ago today. This car is not intended for family vacation. I use it as a daily driver a 100 miles round trip. I got the mid-grade trim package heated seats moon roof. it has a small gas tank 13.9 gallon. I question the MPGs as advertised but its ok at 27 mpg all highway. It will fit 4 people but i believe Ford didnt intend for it to be a vacation car but a general purpose of getting back and forth to work car.So far so good only time will tell.

2016 Ford Escape review
Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

2020 Ford Edge review
We've owned the 2020 Ford Edge for over 5 years and purchased the car new. Just one recent issue with a sensor for the AWD system during that time. Car drives well with decent power and gets 24-26 mpg in mixed driving and around 30 mpg on the highway. Very comfortable and would consider buying another if they still made them. Only downside is that the car doesn't seem to hold its value that well when compared to the Japanese brands.

Wife states as the most comfortable vehicle she’s ever had especially on this long trip pulling a 6x12 enclosed motorcycle trailer from Chicago to Scottsdale, AZ. I recently visited Cavender Ford Dealership in search of a new truck. Living in Galveston, TX, I had done a lot of research on the best deals in Houston and nearby cities, and I quickly realized that no one offers deals quite like Cavender. They not only beat the competition on the price of a new truck by a significant margin but also gave me a fair trade-in value for my vehicle. Overall, my experience was somewhat mixed. On the positive side, if you’re looking for an unbeatable deal on a truck, this is definitely the place to go. The sales team, especially Michael McClinton, Noe Aguilera, and JR Ortega, worked closely with me and were instrumental in helping me secure the beautiful truck I had my eye on. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, making me feel like they were genuinely trying to get me the best truck for the best price. Their approach was knowledgeable, friendly, and refreshingly low-pressure, making the entire buying process smooth. However, the dealership fell short when it came to management and after-sales service. Unfortunately, the management team did not uphold the same level of customer service as the sales staff. I encountered a few issues after the purchase, and their response was much less helpful and timely than I had anticipated. It felt like their interest in assisting me dropped off significantly once the sale was complete. Some promises made during the sale weren’t fully honored afterward, which was disappointing. After taking delivery of the truck and returning home, I noticed one of the hubcaps was missing. I contacted the dealership the next morning and provided a photo I had taken while at their location to prove that the hubcap was already missing before I left. Although the sales team was eager to assist, they were unable to get any answers from upper management. Fortunately, I had the picture as proof, so it should have been easy for them to send me a replacement. However, it took nearly a month of countless phone calls, text messages, and even speaking with a manager named Manny, who rushed through our conversation and falsely promised to overnight the missing part, before I finally received it. I bought a brand-new truck, but after noticing the missing part, it felt like I was driving an old truck, and it took away the excitement of having a new vehicle. Management or ownership didn’t acknowledge the issue as significant, nor did they make any effort to address it. They didn’t offer an apology or attempt to make up for the disappointment I felt about losing the excitement of my new truck. In summary, Cavender Ford is an excellent choice if you're after a great deal and a positive buying experience. However, be cautious about after-sales support, management and ownership and make sure to get everything in writing before leaving the dealership, as their management and ownership could definitely improve in this area.
2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
We've owned the Bronco Sport Heritage for 6 months and we are thrilled with it. The 1.5L did not impress me in the beginning but has absolutely won me over. Driving to 5000 feet up 6% mountains is not a problem for this engine neither is passing on the freeway. Engine noise when accelerating is surprisingly quiet and its averaging 32 mpg. The interior is smartly laid out and roomy. The exterior is just fun to look at. The boxy shape really sets it apart from the other SUV's out there. A lot of thought went into the design of the Bronco Sport and the longer I own it the more I'm appreciating the vehicle.

I bought a 2012 Infiniti G25x, leather seats, AWD. front seat heaters, sun roof, backup camera, defrost on the side mirrors and it's a V6. I love it. I highly recommend buying a car here.
2022 Ford Escape PHEV review
Was comparing used PHEV SUV's with enough rear cargo space for my DJ equipment and enough electric power to run errands without using much gas. With some, the battery space ate up the cargo, in others, the overall size of the vehicle was too truck-like, uncomfortable, and a limited range. The Ford Escape is surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and very good electric range (about 35 miles on full charge). Combined mpg is quite good, even fully loaded on longer trips without the benefit of a recharge. Quite please with service package features as well.
