He ordered parts, called me when they arrived, and scheduled my replacement appointment. He also arranged a vehicle for my use during the repair. Work done; safety issue fixed. Wonderful experience at this dealership when we traded our older Honda van for a 2016 Volkswagen SUV. The Sales Consultants who helped us were very friendly. We picked a very rainy day to make our trade-in, and despite the lousy and chilly weather we received a warm welcome and excellent help with our purchase. I came in after a tire blow out to get a new set of tires. Adam informed me of a tire special that was currently going on, as well as a very informative recommendation on which tires to chose. Adam also walked me to the back to give me a detailed breakdown and first hand look at all the issues that were discovered with my car as well as the options I had to get them taken care of. Adam stayed in constant contact and service was completed faster than expected!.
Back in May I walked in to VWSC just wanting to test drive a car. I was greeted by Sales Associate Amber Dowell. She was friendly and never pushy. She respected my position and always listened to me. I thought I would never be able to afford even a used car from one of the big time dealerships. I walked away with a great experience, not having both a car. Even though I didn???t buy a car from her that day, I took with me her kindness that she showed me. I went to some other dealerships. Applied for loans. But nothing ever stuck. Then I got a call from Amber months later. I was surprised she even remembered me. I walked in just wanting to talk about financing. I didn???t even want to look at a car. I work hard to make ends meet and I have no problems walking away and going back to my car payment free life. But after talking with her and the financing manager I was offered a situation that I could be comfortable with. Amber, our sales consultant, was wonderful working with us to make sure we got what we wanted. We told her we wanted something realiable, reasonably priced, and told her what we were will to pay each month and how long of a lease we wanted. She found the perfect car for us. And Chris, the financial manager was great in breaking down all of the add ins we could get and helping us set up our Smart Payment Plans. Was looking for a used Chevy Camaro and found a silver 2016 with 6500 miles on the clock on their lot.
They held the car for a week so I could get my finances in order and the whole sales process was done without pressure and with out going back and forth between sales and managers.
After the purchase there was a part missing out of the trunk , but it took one phone call to Andy McGee and the part was shipped directly to my residence.
Love the car and love driving it.
Would recommend to visit Fred Caldwell dealership and talk to the folks in the showroom.

I've bought my past few cars at carmax because I hate the used car buying process at dealerships. Andy and Alvin made this process smooth from the start. They were fair from the start on the vehicle price and the trade in value on my vehicle, and didn't charge an exorbitant amount of fees to make up for the vehicle price. After less than 10 minutes of negotiating, we had agreed to a price on a used GMC Sierra Denali. The rest of process went smoothly and we were out of there in less than 2 hours. I will likely go back when it's time to get anot her vehicle and would highly recommend going a little out of your way to get to this small town dealership!

David Jones is friendly and helpful. He listened to my needs and worked to put together a good deal for me. I feel that he was very straightforward, which I like. I traded in my A4. It was a car that I liked so much, I replaced it with a newer A4. I was nervous about buying a used car, so David helped me understand the Certified Pre-Owned. He was very patient in terms of letting me check out a number of the used cars. He didn't call me relentlessly, the way some other salespeople have. That was appreciated. Since moving to NC, I've had my Audi serviced at this dealership. They've always been very good to deal with. Glad to see that same vibe carried through to the sales side of the dealership.
