I have the greatest experience at Generation Nissan. I never been in a dealership that care about me making the right decision and that make sure that I was happy and certain with my choice instead of just pushing a vehicle like other dealerships. From the moment that I got there I was welcome by the General Manager Luis Martinez, he make me feel welcome like if I was just visiting a friend. He redirect me to a sales staff member Nicole, which she was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and went thru all my options to choose features of the cars and why should I choose any of the types of the vehicles depending on my needs. One thing that I was blowing and so thankful. It's that she treated me like a human, I was currently struggling with some personal issues and probably was reflecting in my face, but she was making sure that I was ok and happy with any choice that I made if I yet to choose a car, and not just trying to just push a car to me to make the sale. Meanwhile Luis was working with the financial team to provide me multiple options according to my financial situation and best deal since I was trading in my 2018 chevy Equinox. He worked with me to make sure that I got what I wanted in terms of how much I want it to pay monthly and not go over my budge. He worked great rewards to me my needs and I was able to choose a beautiful Nissan Rogue Rock Creek. Another asked from me was that I need it the SUV to have a hitch, so he say that was no problem that they will order it and installed there. They ordered that day and after 2 days I was called to bring the vehicle for the installation. The service staff member Eric took care of me, and besides that they said the installation was going to take 3 hours, I was in and out before 2 hours. I don't know how this dealership was before Luis Martinez took over since he mentioned that he just have been there for a couple of months, but I can say that my experience thru leasing my new Nissan Rogue was great, I never been in a dealership that took care of me like they did. I was not just a client that they were trying to push a car to it, I was a person that they walk me thru making a choice that I was certain and happy with, regardless if I got a car or not. 2020 GMC Terrain review
Great vehicle, 65,000 miles and not a single issue, hoping to get atleast another 100k miles out of it. Extremely reliable. A family member of mine bought a Honda that broke down at 16,000 miles and got stranded. Would absolutely recommend a 2018+ terrain

To make a long story short: I’ve been looking for a newer Jeep Wrangler for a couple weeks and I kept running into dealerships with shady salespeople or hidden dealer fees that were ridiculous. Lucky for me I saw a Wrangler that was just posted on City World Hyundai, I called and requested the best salesperson, to my luck I was transferred to Dayri O’Neal and I can’t begin to tell you how amazing she was from begging to end. I work a lot and I don’t have the time to go to the Bronx from Jersey so Dayri FaceTimed me from their lot and showed me the vehicle in detail, she provided the carfax over text and email, went over all the dealer fees way in the beginning before I had decided to purchase the vehicle (no hidden fees or ridiculous dealer fees like most other dealers). Dayri also let me speak to her manager Eddie who was a really straight forward, knowledgeable, empathetic person. Dayri and Eddie agreed to deliver my Wrangler to Jersey for FREE and also gave me a discount on my truck for being a Veteran while thanking me for my service in my beloved Army. I had never purchased a vehicle online before without seeing the vehicle in person but Dayri and her team made the process so easy and trouble free that it was a no brainer. On the finance side make sure you see Mykael as he was really good about getting me the loan I needed, my credit isn’t the greatest right now around 630 and I have multiple cars already being leased and financed, however Mykael was really confident and very reassuring that he would be able to obtain the loan for me, and indeed he got me a great rate all things considered. My review ends with Dayri coming on her personal time around 10pm to deliver my vehicle from the Bronx to Jersey, the truck had been detailed and filled with gasoline (I never asked for those things btw). In conclusion if you’re thinking about buying a vehicle, make sure you come to this dealership and ask for Dayri because I’m sure you will be writing a 5 star review just like I am right now, super happy with my truck, no surprise fees, a good loan interest rate and the overall experience Dayri and her team provided. Dayri thank you very much for your professionalism and dedication to your customers, you are fantastic and I will be sending you all my friends and family once they are in the market for a vehicle.
2018 GMC Terrain review
This is a higher trim model with the bigger 4 cylinder engine (2.0 vs. 1.5) most of the options including Bose sound system. We love our pick and the only reason I gave 4 stars to comfort is the ride. Granted it rides nice, but you only get 5 stars from heavier sedans. Trucks and SUV's just aren't designed for that really smooth ride. Definitely would recommend the 2.0L engine if you tend to pass on a 2 lane road or need to pull out quick in traffic.

I brought this truck in 2019. I kept taking it back to the dealership to get tweaked several times. Once it was figured out, never got any problems ever again. A little weak on the power side, but, other than that, its a magnificent vehicle. A total work horse. Great on gas. It is totally worth it.

I had my 2020 Terrain for 5 years before I had any major issues out of it. My brake booster needed replaced. After about a month of it being out the shop someone hit and totaled it. Very sad day. I love my Terrain

2019 GMC Terrain review
I have owned my Terrain for 3 months now, and am absolutely in love with it. Super smooth, great pick up, and I get a lot of complements on both the exterior and interior design. I average 26.3 MPG city and highway combined, which is not bad considering I live in Florida so my AC is never off in the car.

2020 GMC Terrain review
I really enjoy the Terrain. Traded in our beloved Mercedes R350. It was dream to driving on the highway. Our list for new vehicle was easy to get in and out without climbing up or down. No leather seats, hate leather seats, panoramic roof, engine power, get up and go, some luxurious in the vehicle, an easy info console. Before we took a test drive, we did our following tests. How easy to get in and out of the vehicles, leg space (our son is 6'4"). Only wanted two row seating, comfort seating. We checked all other makes. Spend awhile day going from different Dealerships of different makes and models. Didn't want to speak to car salesman, just let us do our preliminary test, on different makes and models. Then we look at the warranties. Finally took take a test drive. Was blown away at the get up and go of the Terrain, pleasantly surprised at the safety features and options it comes with. After almost a month, trips outside the city to the mountains and back. We are really happy with the purchase of the Terrain. Seven years warranty bumper to bumper, ten years on the powertrain. The true fuel economy really surprised me, it doesn't bother me that I have use 91 fuel because of the 2 liter engine. Had to use it on the Mercedes so no change there.

2018 GMC Terrain review
Bought the car CPO in summer 2021 with 38k miles. Now being summer 2024 with 90k miles and I’ve mostly had good luck with the car and its components. I have the extended warranty through 100k miles but I feel like all American cars are built to fail after the warranty runs out. Overall great car: I have the 2.0L turbo engine with 9 speed auto and AWD. AWD is great when turned on, grips the road well, and to be honest the 2.0L has a TON of power; way more than you need for a compact SUV! I had a quick issue around 65k miles where the service traction control and stability light came on for 15 minutes. Dismissed itself and haven’t had an issue since. At 75k miles, it was during the winter time, the car would display “park break realized” and “service traction control” when the auto start stop would kick back on (there’s no way to shut off the auto start/stop system). No issues and lights but the messages would pop up and dismiss themselves. Little did I know it was my battery dying and my mechanic said “some wires were loose” and he tightened them up. Haven't had an issue since I got a new battery. Last thing that happens is sometimes when you have Apple CarPlay going and you unplug the phone, the infotainment system will freeze and no Bluetooth, usb, or CarPlay will work for the reming duration of the ride unless you stop the car and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Simply shutting it off and turning it back on never worked. Overall I give this car a good rating for 0-100k miles. I am pleased with the car but looking for something bigger soon. I think I did overpay a bit for it ($30k for 38k miles) since I got it summer of 2021 when new cars were nonexistent!

2021 GMC Terrain review
READ PLEASE I love my Terrain. DO NOT get the 1.5 L. My engine has barely made it over 100,000 I have had $6k of repairs in less than a year. Things keep going wrong now. I had NO issues before. Catalytic converter went out 75-85k miles. My turbo was just replaced. Just beware of this type of engine… every mechanic that worked on it shared this is not uncommon for this type. I would definitely get another terrain but not the 1.5!

I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

2018 GMC Terrain review
I have owned 5 of the 2018-19 terrains. I have had the 1.5 gas, 2.0 gas and the 1.6 diesel. The power on the 2.0 is awesome. Mileage on the 1.5 is good. Mileage on the 1.6 diesel is great. I have 336,000 miles on my diesel. It has had lots of issues due to emissions and transmissions. Last week it got a new engine as well. The car is a great car but I would recommend the 1.5 gas for most people. The terrain is comfortable and makes a great work or travel vehicle. Size is easy to park with plenty of leg room.
