2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
This is my first Jeep I have ever owned. I always liked the looks of the Grand Cherokee. I’m happy with the vehicle. No complaints except it does like to drink gasoline. My previous 4 vehicles were all 8 cylinder full size pickup trucks. The Jeep being a 6 cylinder eats more gas. The Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase of my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Good looks, drives well, comfortable and safe.

2020 Cadillac Escalade review
So far a really nice SUV. I just feel like with the price on Escalades, they missed on the interior design. You can really get on the gas when driving but the takeoff is really heavy. It almost feels really slow. Not sure on the idle but not as smooth as I would like. But it looks great! This SUV is a head turner and will standout. Just don't be afraid to spend money if you need to. Luxury SUVs are like women. They need money and love. Give them that and they will be around for a while.

2025 Toyota GR86 review
This car does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s light, agile and excellent value for the money. That said, it wasn’t the car for me. Its biggest fault is the throttle response. I noticed that when I first test drove a GR86, but I thought I could adapt. I was wrong. It was too difficult to drive smoothly at slower speeds and even with a aftermarket throttle module, I still could not get it to drive smoothly. I’ve owned over a dozen manual sports cars over the past three decades, so I know how to drive. The last one was a track spec’d Corvette Grand Sport, which was an excellent driver. Don’t be turned off by this review, just make sure the drivability matches your tastes

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. Very happy with this 2024

2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class review
Love the car. Love the 5.5 engine, it is not M113 of course, but M273 is also good. I personally prefer 5.5 over 4 turbo. Fun car that always put a green on my face.

2024 Ford F-150 review
Overall, I love my 2024 STX 4x4 Supercrew. It's comfortable, reliable, and gets great gas mileage with the 2.7 ecoboost. I had one small repair done under warranty that took less than 3 hours and I have over 13k miles on it. My only mild complaints are that the ride could be more forgiving over bumpy pavement and that the turning radius was better.

I would like to share my experience here and dealing with Travis over the last week and a half. My wife and I contacted him about a 2017 Audi R8 on a Saturday that we were in Atlanta for a Braves game. I told him we were interested in looking at the car for potential purchase. It was last minute, but he told me "sure come on, the car is here, and you can check it out". We drove to see him and when we got there, he greeted us and introduced himself and showed the car to us. He offered to take me for a ride to check it out and was very pleasant to deal with. After we were done, he told me he would take care of getting the financing done and would try to get me the best deal possible. After staying in contact with him about the car for about a week, he delivered on his word of getting the financing done. My wife and I went back and forth on whether we wanted to spend the money or not. Even after being indecisive about the purchase, he stayed patient with us and wasn't pushy. So, we finally told him we would come get the car and sign the paperwork. Once we arrived, I asked him if we could check the car over really good one last time before signing. He was cool with it and because we were already approved and had insurance on it, he said, "here take it out for a spin and let your wife see what it's like and when you are done come back and let's talk." We really enjoyed the car and told him when we got back that we wanted to discuss everything over lunch and would give him the final answer after eating. Ater talking, there was just a few issues that were concerning to me about going forward with the purchase. To be honest, they may not have been big deals but for us purchasing a car like this for the first time we figured it would be best to wait until we find one that just made everything feel right. He understood and even offered to take care of the issues, but my wife and I just still weren't there on the car. As an owner of a European car repair shop there was just a few things that made me not want to go through with it. The R8 was beautiful and felt solid and like I said it was small things that probably wasn't a big deal, but they changed my mind. We didn't go through with the purchase, but it had nothing to do with Travis and how he conducted business. It was just mainly me being nitpicky on things. I never asked him to take care of the issues at all. He offered to do it. So, I must say coming from a business owner myself and dealing with customers on cars, I appreciate that a lot. He was very professional and easy to talk to. I would still consider purchasing an R8 from him if he were to get anymore that just makes my wife and I say, "yes this is the one for sure". I understand that everyone is going to have a different opinion about a business and their experience, and you can't please everyone all the time. I deal with it at my shop from time to time. I'm basing my review off of my personal experience here. Travis, if you read this man, we genuinely appreciate your time, professionalism and integrity. Thank you for being patient with us and I'm sorry we couldn't make a deal at the time.
2022 Cadillac Escalade review
I purchased a used 2021 model Sport and after being very impressed sold it in order to get a 2022 Sport with Super Cruise, which I absolutely love. I love all of the new technology, with the exception of Apple Car Play. I had a 2016 prior to this generation and was surprised that the gas mileage is actually better on the newer one. The ride is the best ever.

2023 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I own a 2023 Sierra 1500 Elevation equipped with the 2.7L TurboMax, and it’s been outstanding. It currently has 23,000 flawless miles. I’ll admit, I was skeptical of the 2.7 at first, but I jumped in feet-first and have never looked back. Living in Colorado, I regularly tow a 5,000-pound travel trailer through the Rockies with zero performance issues. The truck pulls confidently, handles grades with ease, and still delivers impressive fuel economy—23–24 mpg on the highway and about 18 mpg in town. I couldn’t be happier with this setup. If there is a negative to mention, that would be that after three years of ownership, the black wheels havent grown on me, and Im beginning to hate em. :) Lastly, the mpg while towing drops to 9mpg which is similar to that of a V8. All said, its been a great truck. :)

2025 Chevrolet Suburban review
OK, so I have owned 2 previous suburbans (2002 & 2013), so the 25 is an amazing upgrade to both of these! First of all, we do a lot of highway miles and the ride is simply amazing! It rides more like a luxury sedan than a truck. Since this is our primary vacation vehicle, we were careful to order 18 inch wheels, as they have a much smoother ride versus the larger ones. I also love all of the new cameras, which is a big help in tight situations. Also, the adaptive cruise control and lane assist make long road trips easier and safer as well. I also love the new exterior design features, particularly the front grill and the aerodynamic wings on either side of the rear window. I'm a bit surprised that those small design features have really updated and enhanced the look so much. The only real disappointment, so far, is the owners manual was really poorly done. Information is difficult to find, nonexistent and they even neglected to put in the required scheduled maintenance requirements (what were they thinking?). Overall, our first impressions on this vehicle have been superb and I would definitely recommend it to others who need a large family/vacation vehicle!

2014 Toyota Prius review
The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

Love this car. Sitting in the driver’s seat is so comfortable. Silky smooth engine. Rides so nice and quiet. We have looked for this color Grecian water for a long time. 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 and simply love my truck. It now has 110,000 miles and the only repairs I needed were a water pump under warranty at 99,000 miles and brake system that needed to be upgraded. It's comfortable and drives like a car. This is my 6th Silverado truck. You can't go wrong.

2018 Ford F-150 review
Eight years in my Ford truck. I love it. I looked at GM trucks (Chevy & GMC), still nowhere nears as comfortable as a Ford. Yes I’ve had all the known issues but carried warranties for my truck so transmission has been overhauled. Cam phasers twice (Covered by Ford one and Warranty 2nd time). Just overhauled the front end (bushings, control arm assembly, etc…). Truck still runs like new and rides even better now than when I bought, she is finally broken in and I love my truck. For taller drivers like me, Ford is way to go. Ford has more cabin space than any other truck out there. Ford trucks have the best styling and more towing capacity than anything else in the mkt. Next truck will either be a Raptor or F-250 super duty.

My 2024 Chevy Silverado LTZ provides a deluxe large SUV interior and a standard (short) tuck bed all in one vehicle. It is loaded with features to make it look and operate very well, and it provides mid 20's regular unleaded fuel mileage. The dynamic fuel management system combined with the 10 speed automatic transmission work together flawlessly to deliver smooth power without being able to realize what gear or how many cylinders the powertrain is using at any given time.

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. 2019 Toyota Tacoma review
I bought a 2019 Tacoma with 89k. So far performance is fantastic and can definitely experience the quality build. This has made me skeptical of the reviews about poor engine build and transmission problems like hunting for gears. Can't pretty much dispel the proven track record of the 2019 as one of Toyota best build of the year. As for the transmission, it is still the best performing and reliable 6 speed transmission as compared to the other brands with high failure rates. One of the reason I stick with Toyota because I once had another brand manufacturer bought new and as soon as it hit over 100k, transmission problems or some solenoid problem. As for the engine, the dealer even included a lifetime engine warranty. That just tells me, they never expect the engine to fail. the review with the engine knocking sounds like an another brand car. it just doesn't happen to a toyota.

2015 Lexus LS 460 review
Very Luxurious Car inside and out, super reliable, never had any issues, drove the S500 and BMW 7 series before buying and liked this much better. Bought it used but it felt brand new. It is the best value luxury car available. Really amazing on long road trips or when you are in the car all day, it is like driving around in a recliner or a living room couch.

2024 Lexus GX 550 review
The car is great. It is extremely roomy, but it handles very well. My only negative is that it has a small gas tank and gets so few miles to the gallon so you feel like you are filling it up all the time if you drive a lot like I do. Otherwise it is an amazing car Lexus out did themselves with this one!
