2024 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
As a BMW driver for decades (318i, 328i), I reluctantly switched to Tesla when the Model S became the first practical EV. I wanted to drive electric more than I wanted to be loyal to (IMHO) the best line of sedans and coupes on the planet. I loved the S, too, but after 12 years it was having problems, support was rotten, and it was time for a replacement. Fortunately, all the manufacturers have EVs now. Although I test drove several other makes, I was delighted to see that the BMW i4 was my favorite. When it started to look like tariffs were going to increase prices, I abbreviated my search and went for the Bimmer. By chance, the dealer had a 2024 shop loaner available with low mileage and a lower price than a brand new 2025 so I leased it. (Incidentally, it was less expensive in absolute dollars than the Model S was in 2012!) I'm glad I "pulled the trigger" when I did and I love the car. Handling is excellent. It "feels like" a BMW despite slightly lighter steering than my last 328. It's feature-rich and I'm still learning the ancillary controls. I'm OK with CarPlay although Tesla's own infotainment system is better. The driver assist is good and automatic stop/start in heavy traffic is a joy although I still prefer steering myself under better conditions. I think most BMW drivers will feel likewise. I haven't used self-parking other than a demo in the dealer's lot but I promise to try it. I don't expect to need a lot of service - it's an EV - but at least BMW takes phone calls! The cell phone app is better than Tesla's and it's NOT the only way to schedule service. My only real objection is the location of the charge port at right-rear which will make it awkward to use short-corded Tesla Superchargers even once BMW concludes a deal with Tesla. The i4 has more "hard" controls - which I prefer for eyes-on-the-road driving - than Model S but its voice recognition commands are more limited. Its navigator has the same voice as Model S but gives more frequent bum steers. All in all, I'm very glad I made the switch. And I didn't give money to the Little Dictator who works for the Big Dictator!

Everyone go see Shami!!! I went in looking for a slightly used car. I Had no pressure or hassle from my salesman Shami. He went thoroughly through the buying process. I even took the next day to think it over if I was making the right decision. I had a great experience at BMW of bakersfield. Thank you Shami!
2026 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I had casually considered electric cars the last few years and this year took a hard look at electric options, specifically BMW i4 xdrive 40. I couldn't be more pleased with the "electrifing" power of the i4, which seems faster than my two previous M340s. BMW offers the advanatages of an electric vehicle with its trademark high performance and sporty handling. Every friend who has test drove my i4 has been VERY impressed.

2022 Polestar 2 review
I purchased a used 2022 Polestar 2 about 10 months ago. I have a PHEV Honda Clarity and I wanted to go all EV. The Polestar 2 has been a great car to own; it is very low maintenance, comfortable for tall drivers and passengers under 6 ft in height; the over the air updates are good, and we should be getting a NACS adapter in August 2024. I recommend the Polestar 2.

Brought our Caliber in for a vibration in the front end. Brandon was our Service Advisor, ( Very Courteous), after they checked everything out, the Service Tech said it wasn't a Strut, but an out of balance wheel, which is a whole lot cheaper than the strut, and let us know, which I did know and needed to address, some of the Lug nuts we're not in good shape. Now, some places would have just dealt with them and put on a cheap lug nut to replace the bad ones, but we agreed they should all be replaced. Now, I could have gone somewhere else and had these replaced, and they might be the same as OEM, or maybe not, but by having them do it, I knew they'd be the correct ones. I would recommend this dealership for service. They were accurate, quick, clean and everyone was courteous. Thanks Brandon, Tim and the Service Tech,( sorry, whose name I didn't get).

I dropped my 2026 X5 off for its first oil change. Received a courtesy ride back to my house. Received a text containing a video of the service tech walking around the vehicle explaining the condition of my vehicle's brakes and tires. Cory at the service desk did a great job as well. About 1 year later and I am very happy with my BMW purchase.

I worked with Nick Capone to buy a 2026 BMW X1 on 09/07/2026 The whole process was pressure-free and transparent. Nick answered all my questions about the features, and Dakota Derego, one of the finance teams, made the paperwork quick and painless with no hidden dealer markups. I?d definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an honest car-buying experience.

Excellent experience. Good advice for which car was best for me. A very fair deal. Great delivery on the new car. Even cleaned my grandson’s car seat and it looks new!

Marquis was more than helpful and worked hard to make the deal happen at and more than reasonable interest rate. Wish I had two more hands so I could rate his service 4 thumbs up!

BMW of Orland Park review
Mateen has been very helpful in our decision as to which vehicle to choose. He laid out options and scenarios that guided our decisions. Mateen was open to questions, he provided clear answers and has kept a pleasant and cheerful demeanor throughout our transaction that we left happy and content. Highly recommend him.

Jimmy Featherston is the guy to go to! I recently bought my new BMW, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. Jimmy was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I’m loving my new ride, and it truly feels like the ultimate driving machine! Huge thanks to Autoban BMW Fort Worth for making this happen

Lee MacLean, Jay Meeuwsen and Benni Jinnar were great to work with. The whole experience from test drive to finance was easy and convenient. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to this dealership. These guys are top notch!
