2015 Kia Soul review
Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

2017 Kia Soul review
I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

2015 Nissan Versa Note review
I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa Note in 2017 Certified Pre Owned with 35,000 miles on it. Now it has 80,000 trouble free miles on it. Aside from routine maintenance all I needed was sway bar links at 70,000 mi. Roomy, economical and comfortable. It may I interest everyone to know the transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It's $240 to have it done by the dealer. Small price to pay for reliability.

2007 Nissan Versa review
I bought my 2007 Nissan versa, hatchback used, back in 2016. It had low miles and was in very nice condition. Like most Nissans, the CVT is slow starting out, but develops excellent speed, once it shifts into the higher gears. It can hold its own on the road against larger vehicles. It is not built as well as the small Hondas, and Toyotas, but it is a good car for the money. I have close to 90 thousand miles on my versa. It's my daily driver. And, I haven't had to do much work to it, thus far. I've done tires, brakes, battery, and fluid changes. That's about it. I am running on the original engine (1.8L), original transmission (6-Speed CVT), original starter, alternator, electronic ignition system, exhaust system, Ect. Stuff will wear out, but a pretty decent car...

2018 Audi A5 review
2021 a5 PREM Plus; B&O 7th audi I've owned & they just keep getting better. Not a fan of the tap every time screen I want to do something feature which is fairly new. This one could be a keeper! The stereo is very high quality & handling rocks, quick & nimble. Sport suspension is a personal choice, always order it. Stiffer but smooth. Car is quite. Sport seats heated, heated mirrors, heated steering wheel. Need I say more?

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT review
Bought this new, never had any major issues mechanically. I take care to give it regular oil changes with synthetic. The nav has gotten laggy so I don't bother with it anymore and stick with my phone. I've also noticed the TPMS sensors seem more sensitive lately, so it annoyingly warns me about low tire pressure, even when it's not that bad yet. This blocks the screen telling me avg. mpg, so I have to fill it up I can't just ignore it for awhile. Other than that I still love driving it, it's quick enough for me and fun to drive around town. I was expecting to change cars much early especially with the warranty now over, but I'm going to stick with it for a few more years.

2012 Toyota Prius review

2021 Chevrolet Spark review
I want to start up by saying, I am not a "car person". I do know, is a 5'2 female, this car feels like it was made for me. It gets amazing gas mileage, and you can park in a sidewalk square if needed. Yes, it does not have a lot of bells and whistles to it at all, but it does have the Android auto / Apple Auto feature which I love, at the same time as having roll up Windows. It is perfect for in town and highway driving. I drove it all the way to Georgia from Illinois with no problem. And my 6'5 son fits comfortably in the passenger seat as well, as well as plenty of room in the backseat and trunk for groceries or luggage.

Casey Subaru customer experience: On May 25th 2023, I purchased a pre-owned 2021 Nissan Frontier from Casey Subaru. After working with their sales team, in particular Caleb and Courtney, I decided that this was going to be my next vehicle. After some lively discussion, we agreed on a price and then it was off to sign the papers for my truck. I met with Paul, their finance manager, who walked me through the various options related to my financing this vehicle, and, after an hour, the truck was mine. Now, with my keys in hand, it was time to drive my truck off the lot. However, as I started to pull out of the dealership, I happened to notice that the check engine light came on, after coming to a complete stop, I parked my truck and went back inside the showroom to share my short lived driving experience with Caleb. So, this is where it got interesting and where I first met Jimmy, the service manager for Casey Subaru who would turn out to be a “Rock star” in this adventure. After checking the service code it was determined that, I would not be driving my vehicle home that evening. I was fortunate that my vehicle had an extended warranty that allowed me the opportunity to receive a loaner vehicle from Casey while my truck was in for repair. I am sure you are thinking, so what was the issue? Well after owning my truck for 4 months, it was returned five times for the same issue. What did I learn from this experience? If you are going to buy a pre-owned vehicle, buy it from a dealership whose staff care, not just about the problem that the customer is dealing with, but about the experience the customer deserves. At each point in my interaction with the Casey Subaru team, I was impressed not only from the leadership shown by Travis Winn, General Manager, but also from Jimmy, Subaru’s service manager and superstar, who, without his help, would have made this a nightmare experience. My interaction with all the staff at Casey Subaru was truly amazing. Thank you all for all your help and understanding through this challenging time. This is my hometown dealership. 2017 Chevrolet Spark review
This is a fuel efficient and modest car. It achieves 98hp has a 9 gallon tank and an automatic transmission. The LS has crank windows and old fashioned key-lock doors. You can haul a reasonable load in the back seat and hatch or even three other people, though it might be somewhat cramped. It appears to be designed for urban commuters, but I've driven it some decent distances and in all seasons now and it seems to up the challenge of all weather and (paved) terrains. The onboard technology (radio, backup camera, and internet connectivity--with Apple Play and Android Auto) is surprisingly good. Its small size makes it fit easily into small spaces. It was discontinued in 2022, so there should be parts for awhile and prices are coming down. If you need a second car, give this one some consideration.

2011 Nissan Versa review
My wife has the 2011 Versa S hatchback. She had had it since 2012, it is now 2024 and she has 135,000 miles on it. It has been very solid overall with basically the regular type maintenance things: brakes, oil changes, tires. It does however go through mufflers every 3 years about. And they did one engine mount that was worn out. She does have the check engine light on currently but its probably due for spark plugs. Now the engine is a bit slower to respond to hills or when trying to pass thanbit was 12 years ago, but overall it still has enough zip. Being the S it has The auto door locks on the key fob and there is auto windows inside. Fold down the rear seats and it easliy can hold whatever we pick up from the hardware store. It has a smooth ride and most of the bumps in the road are absorbed by the suspension. Some of the paint has been peeling around the trunk and the passenger sun visor broke off, but these are minor trivialities. I have confidence she can get to 150,000 miles and at least another 3 years our of it.

2009 Toyota Yaris review
I bought a 2009 Yaris Sedan brand new for something like $13K and, apart from regular maintenance, breaks and tires, have never had it in the shop. It’s a weekend/vacation car (we live in NYC) and only has 50K miles. I hope to drive it another 15 years. May be the best investment I’ve ever made. 2011 Toyota Prius review
I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."

2015 Nissan Leaf review
Ok so don't let the miles or lack of engin noise scare you and you'll be fine! Electric vehicles are different from a 2015 chevy spark that cost $300 per tire, $70 oil change and $15 gas in week to $3-5 to fill up if want to pay at walmart. Charges from normal 110v socket over night. Its a trade higher insurance avg 23% and plate cost vs oil and gas costs. It should balance out plus way more fun to drive knowing gas is not a factor and your wall plug is always in trunk!

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT review
I bought my 2013 Elantra GT new. It was my very first Hyundai car. My passengers were always impressed by the quality build and handsome interior and technology. My only gripe was the 1.8Nu engine. It seemed weak at times. 3 adults and some luggage in the trunk made it sluggish when quick acceleration was needed. If it was just me it was adequate but never quick. I kept it 3 years and put 90,000 trouble free miles on it. Very reliable and good fuel economy. Never had any rattles like so many cars do by 90K. I understand the 2014 got a more powerful engine. But I would recommend this car to anyone needing a reliable used vehicle.
