2024 MINI Hardtop review
A brilliant mark of automotive excellence. An abundance of personality, only to be outdone by my 9lb chihuahua. - 135 horsepower is more than plenty on the freeway, and far too much for the city. - The design of the interior cabin feels I am already in the future, as opposed to the present. - The cabin is also very quiet. I hardly hear cars and noise around me - the sound quality from the sound system is spectacular, and the audio from phone calls is unbelievably clear. - I've never driven a car with better handling. I would say it is in a Goldielocks zone of having enough wiggle for comfort and stiffness for performance.

2019 Hyundai IONIQ Plug-In Hybrid review
This is a great choice for entry level EV. Combined I'm getting about 85 MPG. No hybrid car can touch this. Also the price can't be beat. Similar models are about $10K more (looking at you Prius Prime) Also many little extras included in price compared to Toyota.

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. Dan was great 👍🏻 The only complaint is that they said they detailed it, It didn’t seem like they did a great job The inside was still dirty on the floorboards and the electronics had some sort of film on it. Not sure what that was but other than that Dan was great, and the financing guy was great as well.

2016 Chevrolet Spark review
Love my car. Great car in the city and flys through roundabouts, easy to find parking. Beautiful body. 4x100 wheels easy to find. Set of tires are cheap. Best economy car ever built, I have 65,000 miles and never needed service being manual transmission the breaks are still half life just had to lube them piston bolts.

2023 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
Volkswagen did a great job refining the MK8 GTI. Key points -One of the best handling FWD cars mainly due to the LSD, XDS and suspension refinement. -Very smooth power deliver almost 0 turbo lag. - 40th anniversary has to be the best value purchase as it comes standard with DCC and IQ lightings which are only available on the highest trim. The negatives include: -The infotainment can be improved wireless android and apple car play need to be standard. Can't set your phone properly on the wireless charger when the phone is attached to the wire. - Compared to the MK7 the coin holder and the sliding storage below the driver sear is missing. -Unable to disable auto start and stop feature permanently as restores to default on every time you start the vehicle.

We purchased A used vehicle from Metrowest Acura. The car was in our price range and priced below most other dealerships. The frustrating thing was the complicated way we had to purchase the vehicle. We drove from out of state 3 hours One way. The deal ship knew we were coming but did not inform us the person to complete the paperwork for our purchase wasn’t working that day so we had to drive the 3 hours again to sign the papers needed to purchase the vehicle. Again on this second visit the person who signs off the title was not in the office so we didn’t get all the paperwork needed and it took them a few dats to send the papers in the mail. We brought transfer plates from our state on the second visit to drive the car home. Most of these headaches could be avoided if Massachusetts allowed dealers to give out temporary plates. All in all we like our purchase just not the extra drives and waiting to actually call the car our own.

2022 Toyota Prius review
This is my second Prius. I am bullish on Toyota autos. The stereo system is awesome. I purchased this vehicle to obtain great fuel mileage. This model year's Prius generates better fuel economy than the 2007 model I previously owned. The safety features prevent accidents due to unavoidable blind spots when viewing oncoming traffic thru the side-view mirrors. Pitfalls: less rear trunk storage space than the 2007 model. The center console box has less volume. I demanded a donut spare tire when I purchased this model. Not all models have donut spare tires. I do not think this is a auto to have in a cold climate state - - yearly issue of snow/ice and below freezing temps.

2019 Toyota Prius review
A few years back I had a Suburban and hated coming upon hybrids. When the time came for a new car I first was thinking Corolla since it was my first new car decades ago. Then I figured why not a Prius? I have the XLE model that has most anything you could want in a new car. I usually only go 5mph over speed limits but I'm always passing all the cars when going uphill. I get looks from other drivers I pass wondering why I'm passing them in a Prius. Great handling too and so far I've taken it up to 114mph. I could've kept going but there was traffic ahead so it'll wait for another stretch of road. If I ever buy a Ferrari, I'll get a license plate frame that says, "My other car is a Prius"!

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2024 Nissan Leaf review
One needs to be "ready" to drive an EV. Charging a car is different than filling it with gasoline. But with a little planning, it works great, and it is MUCH cheaper. The car is really fun to drive. It's quiet, with very little vibration, yet VERY responsive. It has lots of great safety features, as well. It is well-priced, and the $7,500 federal rebate was really helpful! It's a great car.

My girlfriend recently came here from Brazil. She needed a very dependable car. At other places, language barrier and trying to finance was an issue. Not at AutoMax! Pablo (and team) were awesome. They have people that speak fluent Portuguese (and of course English), so it was very easy to communicate, and for her to tell them what she wanted. They have an awesome selection of cars, and while she was in Marlborough, she actually found one at their Attleboro business. Pablo personally drove her down there, and they were already waiting for her to show up when she arrived. She drove the car, loved it, and without even asking, told her what specific things there were going to take care of (brakes, tires, a couple scratches). They did a great job financing, and showed her specifically what the terms were, and what she'd be paying. She picked up the car at the Marlborogh location, all registered, insurance taken care of, and cleaned up and ready! I can't thank Pablo and AutoMax enough for taking care of her!
2018 Subaru Impreza review
Great car no problem with the car very reliable great gas mileage. Love the way it handles, not the quietest car but it’s not annoyingly loud. Connects to your phone pretty well only had one problem with it connecting to my phone but it’s never happened again.

2021 Tesla Model S review
purchased used with 2,200 miles. At first, I hated it, I've never had an all-electric car and the batter was dead. Luckily they sent someone to jump it. I was still thinking it was a mistake, until I actually drove it and got to know it and learn it. Drives totally different than my corvette. Now I like the Tesla better than my 650hp corvette. It hugs the road like nothing, takes off like a bat out of xxxx. I felt safe and comfortable hitting the pedal to the floor and feeling the rush of this thing taking off and just hanging on to that jet style steering wheel.

2016 Volkswagen Golf R review
I have owned this 2016 Golf R manual since December, 2015. My previous car was a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3, a great hot hatch in it's own right. Right away I knew I had to tune the Golf R to make it feel faster than the Speed 3. APR Stage 1 accomplished that in spades. Not satisfied, I went Stage 2 which made the car absolutely bonkers (I did have to upgrade the clutch to a Southbend Stage 3 racing clutch). I have had three years on the Stage 2 and have had zero problems with it. Unrelated issues have included rear differential oil leak, window switch modulation, and misfiring due to bad plugs and coils. All except the latter were fixed under warranty. There is also a problem with the backlighting of the speedo/tach/fuel/coolant temp gauge that hasn't been fixed but other displays are fine. The car at just under 54K miles remains a blast to drive and very easy to live with.
