Hendrick Lexus Kansas City North review
This dealership is the very best! I cannot explain how comfortable they all make you feel there. I even take my dog. My sales person has called me several times just to check to see if I have any questions about the car and help me with technical issues. He set my phone up with the Lexus app and helped me program the display on my car. He guided me through everything. David Mueller is my salesperson and he is the best! He goes the extra mile!
2020 Honda Pilot review
Waited to give an honest review. 4 years later, I know have 109,000 miles on my 2020 Pilot Tour. The bad: It developed the known crackle sound coming from the speakers. This was fixed under warranty twice. The second time not coming back and has been fine. The looks are "meh". My wife's Nissan of similar trim level has a far nicer interior and much fancier seats. On curves the "warning" light flashes on my dash and the steering wheel shakes sometimes if a car is coming from the other direction. It's annoying, but I hear a problem for many manufacturers with these safety features, not just Honda. The Good: I consider my Pilot practical. It does everything well, just not flashy. My previous car was a 2012 Honda Pilot that I put 190,000 trouble free miles on. This Pilot with an updated transmission feels MUCH quicker. It is much easier to drive. It handles well, averages around 24 mpg on my commute (non expressway), and has been trouble free outside of the speaker issue. It hauls the family well, with lots of room, especially if the 3rd row is not used. I put on the dealer installed trans cooler and trailer hitch to tow a couple of waverunners, which it hauls easily. If you can get past the "ok" styling, it is a car that does everything well and my reliability has been very, very good so far.

Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee MissionReviews
Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission review
5/5 Stars – The Gold Standard of Car Buying and Service in Kansas City I rarely take the time to write reviews, but the team at Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission in Merriam earned every single star. If you’ve spent any time shopping for a vehicle, you know how exhausting, stressful, and opaque the process can be at most dealerships. Hendrick Chevrolet completely shatters that stereotype from the second you walk through their showroom doors. Flawless Initial Communication & Inventory My experience started online. Inquiring about a vehicle on the web usually means getting bombarded with automated spam, but their Business Development and internet sales team reached out promptly, answered specific inventory questions with zero runaround, and confirmed vehicle availability immediately. When I arrived for my appointment, the vehicle was pulled up, detailed, and ready for a test drive. Attentive, Low-Pressure Sales Team The sales staff took the time to understand exactly what features, trim levels, and towing capabilities mattered most to me rather than trying to push whatever happened to be sitting on the lot the longest. There were no high-pressure tactics, no hovering, and no uncomfortable games—just transparent product knowledge, patience, and clear respect for my time. Streamlined Trade-In & Financing The trade-in evaluation was straightforward and fair right off the bat, aligning with real market data without requiring three rounds of back-and-forth negotiations. When moving over to the Finance Department, the entire paperwork workflow was efficient and clearly explained. Every line item, warranty option, and financing tier was laid out cleanly with zero hidden dealer fees or last-minute surprises. A Modern, Professional Service Facility Beyond the sales floor, the dealership’s facility itself is immaculate, comfortable, and well-organized. Their service lane runs like a well-oiled machine, and the advisors and GM certified technicians treat customer vehicles with genuine care. It’s clear that management has built a culture centered on long-term relationships rather than quick one-off transactions. If you are looking for a new Chevrolet or a quality pre-owned vehicle anywhere in the KC metro, skip the headaches and start at Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission. They have earned my business and my highest recommendation.
2023 Honda Pilot review
2023 Pilot Touring have owned for 11 months. Been all over the Southeast with it. Very happy with it. Absolutely no problems or issues whatsoever. Decided on it because of smooth quiet ride with nice large windows and visibility. Among best in class for spaciousness and cargo capacity. Would buy one again in a heartbeat.

Recently, we were looking to upgrade our 2022 Chevy Trax for something more spacious, with newer tech. We even considered going EV. An employee named Celso was kind and knowledgeable enough to walk us through the pros and cons of SUV verses EV. We enjoyed our experience.

Great working with them. Did everything I asked. Even picked me up from train station.
2022 Honda Pilot review
We decided on the Trail Sport. We live in mountains of SW Montana on a dirt road, off a gravel forest service access rd. We also transport elderly women from our church, so needed a 3rd row for seating. It's been a reliable, comfortable ride. Easy for the ladies to get in & out of. My hubby & I are sure enjoying the comfort level of this pilot. One of the great features is being able to adjust the traction to mud & snow.

Fadil helped us as he listened to our preferences and took care of everything. Negotiated quickly on vehicle price and threw in some extras for free. Fadil was honest ans did everything he said he would do without any tricks or trying to raise the price. We've had some bad experiences in the past so this was great. Thanks Fadil!

There buying process is pretty simple and easy, easier than I thought it would be! And I received great service and have no complaints, plan on buying my next car from them as well!
2024 Honda Pilot review
After almost 180,000 trouble-free miles with our 2015 Pilot and an excellent Honda dealer near by, we really didn’t look hard at anything but another Pilot when it was time for a new car. Our EXL, purchased in March 2024, just turned 20,000 miles. We have had no issues with it, and the trip computer says we have averaged 27.1 mpg over the last 5500 miles. That is about 4.5 mpg better than the 2015. The good: It is extremely roomy and comfortable, even the third-row seats. We are very pleased with the fuel economy for a vehicle of this size. The headlights are the best we’ve had on any vehicle. I really like the rugged looks, especially compared the the previous generation. It’s great on snowy and slippery surfaces. The not-as-good: This is my first vehicle with all the modern safety aids. I find the lane-departure system annoying, especially in construction zones. The first time I backed out of the garage with bikes on a hitch-mounted carrier, the car automatically slammed on the brakes so hard I thought I ran into something. (Pro tip: Use tow mode when hauling bikes.) I don’t use the adaptive cruise control because it starts matching the speed of the vehicle ahead long before I would normally change lanes to pass, even with the system adjusted accordingly. However, I can’t see that future vehicles will have FEWER of these features, so I suppose I will just have to get used to them.

I wasn't in the market for a new car but after a total loss accident I didn't have a choice. I wanted the closest replacement to the car I lost, which I found online at Legends Honda in KS. I called to get info, Asher was a tremendous help from start to finish. From arranging transport to VA, patiently waiting for my insurance to issue the payout, and negotiating my terms with the finance company. Wonderful service dealing with out of state purchases and a big thank you to Asher for being a great salesperson.
2016 Honda Pilot review
Great quiet comfortable road car. I commute between cities about 500 miles, and appreciate the performance, seat comfort, handling, quiet cabin, and decent mileage (about 32 at 70mph, about 29 at 80mph). Only hitch is the cabin controls being a reach from the drivers seat, and having to look over. Mine has a CD player which is great for books and music on the long drives.

2020 Honda Pilot review
I have always wanted a Honda Pilot and bought a 2020 model anticipating a great vehicle. It has been back to the shop SIX times for issues with the drivers side mirror. It is supposed to be a fancy automatic adjusting mirror, but instead self adjusts up beyond where I can see in it. The dealer's technicians have tried many things, but still claim they can't recreate what I am telling them I really don't know where to turn now.

Legends HondaReviews
Legends Honda review
10/8/26-An Exceptional Experience at Legends Honda in Kansas City, Kansas! When you visit Legends Honda in Kansas City, Kansas, you will organically “experience the difference of a Baxter Auto Group dealership!” This quote from their mission statement could not be more accurate. My personal experience at Legends Honda was truly a different experience—in the best possible way! Hands down, the team delivers first-rate service of the highest quality. The Product Specialists, Sales Manager, the General Manager, and Service and Parts Manager, Advisor, and Specialists, were all a pleasure to meet, communicate with, and learn from. A very special thank-you to Kaleel E., Maria, Binty, Chris, and Calvin! After initially meeting Kaleel E., I later stopped by just to kick the tires one day and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted almost immediately with a friendly, genuine smile. Little did I know that the person who welcomed me that day would later become my Product Specialist for a future vehicle purchase. The team is quite welcoming, takes their time with you, pays exceptional attention to detail, actively listens to your needs, and makes you feel comfortable asking a variety of questions—no matter how big or small. At Legends Honda, every customer is treated fairly and professionally, with genuine respect and thoughtfulness. The General Manager at Legends Honda is clearly passionate about people, and it shows even before you walk through the door. The grounds and building are neat, clean, and well-maintained. The seating areas offer comfortable options, including individual televisions at tables for customers to enjoy and with outlets as options to charge their electronics. More importantly, every team member appears committed to prioritizing customer satisfaction and does so with integrity. When a dealership consistently makes its customers feel valued, it naturally builds trust, loyalty, and lasting relationships. A win-win for all! Although I asked quite a few questions, which unintentionally extended my visit and purchasing process, no one ever rushed or pressured me to hurry or quickly leave. Everyone remained patient, attentive, and accommodating throughout the entire experience. I also overlooked few small details two during my personal inspection of the vehicle, but once mentioned, those items and questions were promptly addressed and taken care of by Caiden, Tim, Kayden, and Tyler in the Service and the Parts Department-thanks very much, all! It is evident that Legends Honda takes its mission seriously and puts it into practice through every customer interaction. The team delivered an exceptional and truly unforgettable experience for me! I will most certainly return, will share with others, and have already recommended Legends Honda to several people. When others are ready to explore their options or purchase a vehicle, they are absolutely encouraged to make Legends Honda their first stop—and I have every confidence it could be their last! With five locations and continued growth on the horizon, Legends Honda and the Baxter Auto Group have my highest recommendation, every time! Their commitment to exceptional customer service, professionalism, and treating people right makes them stand out head and shoulders above the rest! 2017 Honda Pilot review
This car is a big step up from a Nissan Altima. Lots of space and the ride is smooth. The engine is a bit noisy when idle(clicking noise from the direct injection), and there's also a drone sound when acceleratinf beyond 60mph(not sure if this could be cause of the new tires or not), but other than those noises, it's a smooth machine!

CarMax Independence review
Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. Matthew and Sharon handle the financial side of our purchase and also was clear on 30-day refund policy and purchase of our Kicks. I would highly recommend this CarMax in Independence; they took time to give us peace of mind on our new Nissan Kicks.
2023 Honda Pilot review
I purchased my Ex-L for a little more space after trading my CRV in. I had no idea it would be a nice trade, and I am absolutely thrilled with my new pilot and the new design! I even took it on the beach and it performs so well!! We really enjoyed the Outer Banks in it. I love it all wheel drive love everything about this car. It has a lot to offer for the price and you really do need to read the manual or watch the videos because there’s so much more to this car than what you think.

HUGE selection of cars. They have a row of just luxury and sport cars. The prices may be a little bit on the upper end, but overall a great dealership.
2018 Honda Pilot review
This is the first Honda I have ever owned and will likely be the last as I expect it to out live me lol. We travel back and too from North Georgia to SW Florida and the car is so comfortable that I make the drive in one day. We get good gas mileage and the Pilot is a nice looking car with plenty of power.

Everyone at this dealership was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Nice place as well Clean and orderly
2023 Honda Pilot review
Bought my Elite in May of 2023 at a local dealer. I love the look of the car, the comfort and the handling. It is very roomy and has so many cup holders and compartments which is great. I have the brown/black interior, which I wasn't able to see before purchasing it, but loved it once I did see it. I did have an option for a gray interior one but didn't like that look as it didn't look as classy as the two toned. The lights are bright, the features are wonderful so overall a nice vehicle and still happy with my purchase. Now the not so good stuff.... Biggest problem I have is like other reviews have stated the gas mileage is not great at all and comes nowhere near the projected when the car is marketed. 19-25 it states but that is way off for sure. I don't have a heavy foot, speeding or hard breaking and I always drive in Eco because the 'Normal" mode option, the mileage is worse. Summer months my average between city and HWY is 18.5/19.5. All HWY I was able to get 23 miles one time but not again. All HWY after that first time is usually 21/22. Never have I seen 25mpg like stated. Now the Wintertime they are not as good. City/HWY is 17/19 & HWY is 19/20.5. The most miles I can get out of a tank of gas either summer or winter is now less than 355, more around the 335/345. The lane assist feature is pretty bad as well, better in the nighttime as I feel it sees the lines better but during the day is more of an annoyance than anything, so I normally don't use it. I have drove the Sport model one and that worked great and a 2022 Elite pilot and that worked flawlessly too. Not sure why mine is so bad but dealer says it functioning correctly, I told them we will agree to disagree LOL>. The wireless charging is very slow and if you have any type of case on it will most likely not work, so I just keep it shut off. I really wish Honda would have put the bigger screen in this car this time around. Looks like there is enough space for that to have happened they just chose not to. I really wish that the second you turn off the car the radio didn't shut down too. I have never had a car do that and it is frankly a big inconvenience for me. Many times, I am on the phone with clients, or I like to finish a song, but in order to do that I would have to sit with the car running and that doesn't make sense to me and it's a waste of gas. This is little but I do hope that they come out with some type of compartment for the center console as it's really big but there is no way to organize anything in it and honestly just looks like a total mess. (Again, small to many) The app to start the car and such is just okay. What I don't like is that you cannot adjust the temp or the heated seats as well as not having the app turn on the passenger seat as 95% of the time no one is in it. I feel like this is more opportunity for something to go wrong or stop working when I didn't personal choose to use it but was forced to have. I will say I do like that whatever my heated seat was at from my previous drive that is what it is at when I start my car the next time. I did end buying the Honda rubber floor mats but soon found out that the from mats leave to much carpets exposed by the gas and brake pedals, so salt gets all over it. The back ones are just fine. I did end up buying the Weather tech ones and those are great and have amazing coverage so if you live in an area where it snows, I'd keep this in mind. I also bought the side covers for the back end and the mat for the back end, which really protects the sides and back of seats from scratches which we all know ever car is prone to. I did add the trailer hitch from the dealer vs aftermarket as I wanted it to look good and sit higher where it belongs verse the aftermarket which sits much lower to the ground. Overall, now with 13,000 miles on it I am still loving my pilot despite the other things mentioned above. I hope it last me a long time as this is my first time buying a Honda vehicle.

2014 Honda Pilot review
I bought my 2014 Pilot Touring 4x4 used 4 years ago with 67k miles on her. We're at 150k now still going strong other than tires and routine maintenance no issues at all. She handles great on all terrain and in all weather, shes big enough to haul the family around town, move across the country in comfort or a weekend at the lake and you'd never know there was a trailer or a boat behind you. They did lose a star on the exterior for the paint peel on the roof above the windshield as others have mentioned.

Car City Wholesale review
Fantastic dealership. They worked with me and dealt with every curveball from credit issues to simple communication problems without skipping a beat. Got the truck I wanted at a great price, better than just about every dealer in the region. Even helped me turn in my rental and detailed the truck before driving it off the lot, and gave me a gas card for some extra drive time, DESPITE the dealership having been closed for the day when the deal was done. You could tell their priority was getting me a vehicle I was happy with, not making a sale, which was a huge relief. Personable staff, honest dealing. Would recommend them any day of the week!
2023 Honda Pilot review
I purchased a 2023 Hilda Pilot from the Honda dealership on South Boulevard in Charlotte. I was treated like family from the moment that I arrived up until the moment that I drove off in my new vehicle. The service that I received from the sales associate, Christopher (Chris) Robinson specifically was absolutely amazing. Chris exceeded all of my expectations even though I was apprehensive about buying a brand new vehicle at the time. Chris put my mind at ease because he knew every detail about the car and he weighed out all of my options in a simplified manner. I will be sending all of my family and friends to Honda for their next auto purchase because Christopher Robinson knows how to take customer service to the next level while making you feel like you have a dear and trustworthy friend for life.

2025 Honda Pilot review
I think this is the best looking exterior of the mid size SUV mix. The interior is great, but the 9in screen is dated (updated for 26) and the cabin is a little noisy on the highway (also updated for 26 but I haven’t driven one to test it). The quality of the rear review and forward cameras is pretty good but not the crispest I’ve seen. I have the Black Edition which does a good job of reducing the plastic in the interior. I think lower trims are a bit plastic heavy. Seats are comfy, lots of space for kids and I like the removable bench for captains chairs with the option to have the bench if you need it. For a road trip, I have put 3 car seats in a row 2nd row bench to leave 3rd row flipped down for more cargo. Would not recommend that daily though. If you need 3 in one row daily you want to consider a full size but I’m just fine with 2 kids in captains chairs 2nd row and 1 in 3rd with the other half of the bench flipped down for cargo (which is sufficient for a stroller). I think that’s enough for most people. Performance is fine but nothing exciting. You don’t have the power of say an Explorer xx although I’m not sure you actually need that. Perfectly fine as a daily driver and I switch to sport mode when merging in on the highway. Reliability is top notch - routine service and you can trust you won’t need much more. Hoping to keep this 8-10 yrs and I don’t anticipate a problem. I use the dealership, but any shop should be able to work on a Honda Pilot without a problem.

Luxury & Imports Leavenworth review
I would like to thank Patrick, Kevin, Mike, Sage, Capone and Nicole for all their time helping me choose, finance, and ship my new 2015 Smart Fortwo Passion automobile. The aforementioned staff were courteous, prompt, honest, and a pleasure to do business with. My Smart car arrived a day early, it was more than I expected, a bit overwhelmed at both its interior & exterior and how spotless it was. The car handles well, hugs the road, is very responsive, and looks & feels brand new for a 2015 model. Patrick went above & beyond as a go between for the finance department, and the service department to safely ship my car from Kansas to Minnesota. Again, thanks and I would recommend your dealership to anyone wanting a new car. Sincerely, Sam
2019 Honda Pilot review
OVERVIEW: Found this used 2019 Pilot Touring with AWD, and 8 Passenger seating. It was in great condition. Exterior and interior colors were exactly what we wanted. Purchased it with aobut 74,500 miles on it, newish tires, roof rack rails (great for mounting a backback). Clean carfax. Overall, I'm super glad we got it. We hope we get 200k miles or more out of this Pilot just like we got on the old one The drivetrain is smooth and provides enough power to move us when all 8 seats are used. Lots of comfort and tech features came with this one. DRIVING: Very smooth transmission shifts. No gear hunting issues with the transmission like those reported on the earlier models, especially on the 2016. Feels more luxurious than sport which for us and the family, it's great. Plenty of power for a family hauler. You can use the paddle shifters in Sport mode. 4 AWD drive modes - Normal, Snow, Mud, and Sand. COMFORT: It's super quiet inside compared to the 2011 model. Not as much road or wind noise like our old Pilot. The steering and suspension handles the road nicely, especially on our crappy California pothole-filled roadways. Lots of room. Nice leather seating with ample leg room. Feels a little bigger than our 2011 Pilot. Kids confirmed it feels a little bigger. Front and middle row heated seats are great! Adjustable armrests for front driver and passenger give good support. Plenty of leg room in 2nd row. Small adults and large kids in the 3rd row will be fine. Feels roomier than the 2011. Lots of cup holders. Seats are easy to move and adjust. Single push buttons to move the middle seats forward to get in and out of the 3rd row seats! Easy to flatten them as well to give you room to haul stuff. Rear door sunshades are included in this trim as well. Sunroof with tilt comes with this model, too. Entertainment and Technology: The entertainment system is really nice. 8in touch screen with Apple CarPlay (Android Auto as well) is excellent. Love how GPS displays on the screen while having the ability to have other apps open on the phone. 10 Speakers sound great. The multiple information dashboard can be customized. Looks sleek. The screen is big, bright, colorful and I set mine to show the tripometer information - miles driven, MPG, and range. You have other options - Nav, AWD torque distribution, entertainment info, etc. Outside temp, ECON mode, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keep Assist System, safety systems, and other indicators are on-screen. Rear entertainment system has yet to be tested but it can play Blu-Ray discs and has an HDMI port and AC plug for another input source. Comes with 2 wireless headsets and a remote control as well. So far, we found 4 USB charging ports. There are lighter ports available as well in case you need more power. Can't wait to figure out CabinTalk when we go on a road trip. You can communicate both ways with the rear passengers using the internal mics, speakers, and Rear entertainment headsets. The motorized rear tailgate with hands-free kick motion open and close is nice to have as well. Keyless entry system with auto-unlock and walkaway auto-locking features are included as well. Remote start is also included with the Touring trim. Safety: Bright LED headlights and well-designed daytime running lights. Auto high-beam LED headlights were a nice surprise. The Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane-Keep Assist are freakily awesome. Keep your hands on the wheel though because it's not perfect. The camera and sensors can get confused. But they're good to have for safety and driving assist, especially on long rides on open highways. Blindspot monitoring, rear cross-traffic sensing, and parking sensors are included and help in those situations. I always disable the collision mitigation feature due to potential problems with the system potentially braking at wrong and dangerous times.
