I purchased the 2023 Honda type R on December 14th and what can I say this is an incredible car, I just can't wait to start my new weekend hobby road course racing.

Passing through the Harrisburg area and stopped in on a whim. We were treated with warmth and courtesy. There was even a salesperson named Sarah, that explained everything so thoroughly and took the time to find our needs, that we will be back to see her to make the purchase soon!

This car met all my needs throughout the time I have owned it, really really reliable car, really good on gas, and just plain out amazing.

In retirement, we wanted to get to being a one-car couple. The Ridgeline has been perfect. Rides like a car with great features and still allows you to haul large or bulky items in the bed and tow (we've done both). The dual swing tailgate is great and we use the trunk all the time. Just been a great all in one vehicle.

Love the personality of the reps and they are always eager to help! They don't push you into buying more than your original budget and won't bother you about it! They also will let u browse the lot on you own, and all there cars are unlocked! I absolutely love there transfer program where they will transfer vehicles to your local stores without an obligation, and many transfers are free! Only complaint about Carmax is that I feel the cars are a bit overpriced, but it's worth it in the end for there customer service!

Being 66 I’m probably not the usual age of people getting a car like this. Back in May I was basically sitting at home waiting to catch that covid crap and die. Then I thought why not buy something so I could have some fun while I’m waiting to catch it and die and I’m still here. My eyes sorta locked onto the type R and life is a blast driving this car. I’ve dived into turns at 65 mph tap the brakes and turn the steering wheel then hit the gas and pull right thru it and maintaining full control at the same time. If you do manage to break the rear end loose it’s easily corrected by counter steering. All those curves on I 59/20 going thru Birmingham really don’t exist with this car and it’s a breeze and fun. The seats were comfortable my whole trip to northern Alabama. I was averaging 27 mpg and only did one fill up. I arrived at my destination and I wasn’t burnt out like usual driving another car. I’ve had it up to 135 and it’s fun as xxxx but don’t do it on the interstate. There’s too many people who don’t pay attention and have their phone buried in their head there. If you have good hand foot eye coordination then this is the car for you. If you want to have fun driving a car instead of being bored to death then you will love this car. If you like going the speed limit then then no this isn’t the car for you. The only thing I have with this car is that I can’t hop out of the seat like I was 20 years old but for the time that I’m driving it I’m like back to the future pardon the pun. The steering and suspension is very tight and if you put it into R mode and get on it then hang on and have fun.

I short listed my used car purchase to a Honda Clarity PHEV, Chevrolet Bolt and Tesla Model 3. We already own a Honda Accord, Honda Odyssey and Honda lawn mower, and we've enjoyed the Honda dependability. We go on longer trips about once a month, and I'd range anxiety and concerns over charging times if I had a pure EV. The 2018 Clarity PHEV drives like a luxury car - smooth, refined; I manually track my gas mileage and I'm averaging about 195 mpg over the past six weeks! I'll probably eventually buy a full EV, but until then, my Clarity will fit my needs well.

Great local car dealership- my best experience experience! This was my best-ever, new or used, car buying experience. Typically, honesty and car dealerships are antithetical... however, I am very pleased to say that I-deal Cars LLC have proven to be the exception. Do yourself a favor- ask for Joey. He was an awesome person to deal with...honest, straight forward, trustworthy, and patient. He wasn't pushy or overbearing (which seems to be the norm as a female looking to buy a vehicle). I felt that he genuinely cared about getting me into a vehicle which was right for me... not just making another sale. Good prices, great cars. This place was a breath of fresh air: Joey gave just the right amount of attention, answering my questions, was polite, professional and courteous...letting me make the decision without pressure or making me feel belittled or overwhelmed (unlike many other salespeople with whom I had interacted in the prior weeks of my search). He even stayed later than normal posted hours in order to accommodate me and complete my purchase. There were many great cars to choose from at this dealership. I highly recommend this dealership and salesman. I will be returning here for all my purchases in the future because it was a great experience.

I personally like the gen1 looks over the gen2. Bought RTX new in ‘08 for $27000. Have 144,000 miles on it now and the only thing besides normal maintenance being done on it was a very light leak on the main seal. Fuel mileage isn’t the greatest. 15 around town; 22 at 60 mph on the freeway, 10-12 pulling the travel trailer. It has pulled a 21 foot travel trailer for about 30,000 miles (wet weight 4200 to 4600). It has gone (and is still going) countless miles on mountain, logging and skid roads. There have been times I would’ve loved a low-range but have been able to make do without. Lack of ground clearance has been a bigger issue for me. Another 3, or even 2 inches would be a huge help but on the gen1 that would require cutting the fenders and I won’t do that, so I’ll live with what I’ve got. I’ve been high centered with this RL but never just stuck. It’s amazing what it will muddle through, mud or snow. I’m 73 years young and I’ve had Fords, Chevies, Jimmies and Nissans but this RL is by far the most versatile, handiest vehicle I’ve ever owned.

My sales person Ken was great I told him what I was looking to spend and explain to him I didn't need a new car but would be nice since my car was paid off. The financing department was also great getting me to what I wanted to pay seeing how I didn't want a long loan. Years ago I had a horrible experience with Bob Ruth but I can say they changed a lot around for the better.

Love the Ridgeline. Had a 2017 and upgraded to the 2021. Only issue in my 2021 is the front seats. The back rests are creaky. I think Honda could have made a more sturdy seat for the price.

Had a tire losing air. I called my service rep, Matt Strouse. It was a Friday morning. I was in a little panic with the thought of not having the car for the weekend. Matt asked to bring the car to the dealership and he would work it in. I did and within a couple of hours it was repaired and my dilemma was resolved. Many thanks to Thornton Chevrolet!!

One of the well-constructed cars I owned. I owned seven Honda/ Acura cars never one disappointment. The six speeds can run up to 7k RPM. This is a small rocket when needed in R-Mode. Comfort mode is great when it comes to mpg gas.

I love driving a manual transmission and this car gives a big bang for the buck. I love all the features from the automatic high/low beams, right side camera when using the turn signals and the blue tooth capability.

This place is great! Just bought my first car from here for a great price. The sales person (Androw) was very friendly and informative. Definitely recommend for people looking for genuine cars. Their inspection team is so thorough.

I bought the car in New Hampshire with 200,000 miles on it and drove it to Northern Michigan and back with no issues. 1100 miles one way. 33mpg. Not bad for a B-lot car. It's the 2.4 Ex-l model. The leather seats aren't the greatest for long trips. Some may find them comfortable tho. The have seat cover with gel padding that i will buy. The factory Nav is outdated but adequate. I do like the trip computer. The ac compressor sounds like it is on its way out. One of the cooling fans doesn't work. Which is making the ac suffer at a stop. But other than that seems like a good purchase. Nice to have confidence in a vehicle to put some miles behind it. I travel for work so I'll fix some mechanical quirks and test that Honda reliability. It's a new England car so has some rust. Will probably buy a southern one next time. Has hail damage. So not winning any beauty contest. But I like the Gray color.

First car I've owned with no issues, not even one! Drives nice, heated seats were a nice feature too. Lots of trunk space and very roomy if you have 4-5 people in the car also.

Most comfy car i have ever owned. I lost my v card in this box and i have never had a more comfortable experience. May have been my only experience but that isn't the point. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a bedroom on wheels.

Amazing place for used vehicles. Bought a van for my business and could'nt be happier with the selection and service. Love the heated front seats. Do not like access to rear seats past seats at doors. Has great pick up. Drives thru anything. Quiet. Great sound system. Cools and Heats entire van. Large windshield must have sunscreen or summers heat blisters interior.. A/C works great

I am absolutely heartbroken that I have to give up this gem of a car! I got her for $4200 pre-pandemic. She took me everywhere even a couple 9+ hour drives with no issue and excellent gas mileage. Never had any mechanical issues - just kept on top of maintenance. Had an accident and the damage is unfixable, so I need to give her up. Aesthetically, the paint does tend to chip, but as a person who doesn’t care about looks it never bugged me. A smooth running faithful steed until her last days. I strongly recommend this car!

Love this car . Learned to drive stick with it , not very many SI’s of this generation around . You really don’t see them too often , I highly recommend this little car for anyone looking for something reliable and fairly easy and cheap to fix. With the 2.0 engine that it comes with , you have a lot less maintenance to worry about due to it having a timing chain which are known to need servicing around every 200k miles . Thanks Honda for creating such a reliable , sporty , and awesome car to daily .

Overall, I love the car. The interior cloth roof began to come down but vc all I had to do was staple it back and it’s fine. The radiator fan gave out 2 times it seems, it was replaced in 2013 and I just replaced it again 2022. It wasn’t expensive to replace since I did if myself but mechanics wanted to charge me $500, doing it myself was $160 The gas mileage is amazing! The power from a 4 cylinder is shocking, love it! Love the leather interior, the drivers side seat seems to be worn down a bit but that probably because it was used so much. I have 309,000 miles and it’s still going strong, I do all the maintenance on time and try to keep it in good condition. Hopefully can get 500,000 out of it!

This is absolutely THE GREATEST CARS EVER MADE IN THE WORLD. THEY ARE BULLET-PROOF CARS made to drive for 350,000 miles or easily up to 400,000 miles since they are made to last with that incredible VTECH engine. Easy to drive, easy to park, glorious looking and fast as lightning especially with a 5 speed manual transmission.

This car replaced my 1993 Civic when the corrosion of the midwest did in the suspension, which was not worth repairing on on a car with 279,000 miles. Now my current Civic was approaching this benchmark fast befor Covid. It had some big shows to fill and easily did so. No problems, and it has been beat to crap. This is city driving, so the engine hours are through the roof. Average maybe 20mph thoughtour it’s life. Did need it’s starter replaced once, although this was less expensive than the old timing belt tuneup on the 93. There was an issue with thinning paint on trunk and the car has been hit with enough rocks and when parked that she is far from pristine. I vouch for the safety as this is the insurance replacement of one that got totaled with 60 miles on it back in 09, a roll over. Run off road by semi whose brakes failed. I find the car quite comfortable for commuting purposes and the AC still works. It’s a DX-VP, so she’s awfully spartan by modern standards. Now that I work from home, the miles are coming slower. I assume a better conditioned one with low miles would hold its resale value pretty well. I’d like to justify getting a new car to scoot around town but it’s impossible to justify.

My sales representative, Cody, was extremely easy to work with. He and the Frederick people had no objection to me taking the pre-owned vehicle to a shop in the region that I trusted for a second opinion of its mechanical fitness for sale. I found Cody to be straightforward about what he could and couldn't do in terms of pricing structure and a simple process for me to make the pre-owned vehicle purchase.

I previously drove a 2019 Honda Insight which I LOVED! My husband bought me the 2022 Accord Sport Hybrid. I was skeptical...but after driving the Accord for a few weeks I absolutely LOVE this car more than my Insight. I get 50 mpg in the city, the car turns heads, performs like a sports car (ok, it's not a Porsche). All in all, for the money, this is one AWESOME car!
