2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid review
So far tour KIA Sportage Hybrid runs flawlessly and drives great on the highwasy. Fully loaded with useful features and an incredible panoramic sunroof that's quite enjoyable during the warmer weather. Engine and transmission runs smoothly. Love the 10 year - 100,000 mile warranty; gives us peace of mind. One complaint is that although our model is top of the line, it does not come with the Homelink feature. To open our garage door we have to a remote attached to the diver;s side visor. All in all highly recommended!

2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid review
I has never envisioned myself buying a Hyundai until I looked at them. I quickly fell in love with the looks of the Santa Fe and Palisade. I chose the Palisade because it was bigger and I chose the Hybrid because of the wonderful reviews I read about it. So far the car droves like a dream. I think it is a car that looks as good as similar mid size SUV's at a much higher price. And I know the reviews for reliability and performance are often better than the more expensive competitors. My only complaint might be all the high tech stuff I have to learn about it. But I think that is pretty much the same with all new cars these days. Bonus is my Palisade has a wonderful Bose system that sounds fabulous. Hyundai has won this GM abd Chrysler girl over!

2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.

Initially, I was not satisfied with the service. After stopping by to see and eventually purchasing a chevy express van, I was informed that it needed to be inspected. However, this was after filling out paperwork and waiting over 4 hours. I sent a reply email to manager. The following day I received a call from Chad who kept me updated on the status of the van. Once it was completed I finished the purchase process. All the pricing we agree upon was kept. Nothing changed! Rough start to an excellent finish. Great job AutoNation!
2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid review
I have had the car one month so far, RAV4 plug n see They say I can go 50 miles on electric charge, I am getting 55 to 58 depending on my driving style with running the a/c. So far I have not used a drop of gas. I am charging at night from 10pm to 7 am using 110 standard plug. The lowest I have taken battery down is 28%. Our local electric company has great rates from 12 to 6 am, I have figured my charging cost at about .64 cents per night for a full charge. The car is very quiet and smooth, with the horse power at 300 plus it is very quick. Looks great and runs like you want.

2023 Volvo XC90 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
This is a beautiful car. Our car is the mid level. Not totally sure it is as luxurious as it's price point. Drives and feels very nice. Feels nimble and safe. Visibility all around is great. Safety features such as the pacing cruise control and lane management are excellent. The gage cluster is minimal with a lot of empty space where they should have put a real fuel gage, not the miniscule 4 dashes that go unlit as the fuel is used. The car has no written user manual. It relies on a very limited one on board which cannot be accessed when the car is moving. Hybrid system is not immediately understood how to make it perform well. Bu once you solve that puzzle it is really good. We found a complete 900 page one on line that goes into the detail we wanted. Also the on board one does not have an index so you get to hunt and guess to find what topic your question is under. This was a major frustration for us. The back seats are very firm, which was surprising at this price point. That is why I knocked the comfort level down. Front seats are wonderful. Lots of rear leg room though. There is a lot of room behind the second row seats when the 3rd row is down, and this suits our travel cargo needs very well. 360 camera is excellent. Fit and finish is superb. The turn signal stalk has too many functions such as head light control. A switch on the dash would be much better easily showing which mode the headlights are in. The various functions are not as intuitive to control or find. There is a learning curve, not a difficult curve, but just jumping into drive it might be the wrong approach. Perhaps it is standard Volvo like not standard BMW like as we were used to. Now that we know the car better we would buy it again.

The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2026 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
So far no problems with this vehicle other than the plastic side trim piece on the door is starting to come off. That I’m sure is an easy fix. Everything works perfectly the new and improved Bluetooth connectivity is nice, the heated seats work fine and no problem with the panoramic moon roof.

I was interested in a Nissan NV 2500. Viewing several of these vehicles on cars.com and other sites. I decided to make the trip to Trust Auto in Maryland from West Virginia. About a 4 1/2 hour trip. I had talked to David on the phone to make sure the Nissan was still available and explained when I could be there to look over the vehicle. We made the trip in good time only running into one delay. Upon meeting David he brought the vehicle up to the front of the dealership and told us to inspect it, which is what we did. I had two top mechanic with me. While we knew the vehicle had been in an accident, the repair work was very well done on found a few bolts missing. One in the valance and the other from the inner fender. This could have been from the accident or just from being a service vehicle. A little over 94,000 miles on it. The detail shop did a great job on their work. Very chean for sure. After running the computer test, we took the Nissan NV for a test drive. It did not disappoint. Extremely happy with everything we saw and felt during the test drive. Steering was solid and tracked well. No pull to either side while driving. Throttle response was perfect as well as the braking system. The comfort of the Nissan NV was Avery pleasant surprise. The ride was almost as good as my Lincoln MKZ, almost.😎 Much like a 2006 GMC dually I had in 2007. Very nice. When returning to the dealership myself and the two mechanics talked things over and decided to go to the next step. After a little negotiation we settled on a fair price and made the purchase. David was very kind to us and I feel like we got a great deal. We finished the paperwork and was ready to leave but we were blocked in by another vehicle. I backed back into the parking spot when one of the ladies that worked there said she would move the vehicle so we could be on our way. She came back within a few minutes moved the vehicle and with a big beautiful smile waved goodbye to us as we left. That truly made my day😇. Trust Auto in my opinion is a great dealership and when I need another vehicle, they will be the first ones I will go to. 2024 Toyota Camry review
I have been a Toyota owner for 20+ years and have been pleased with the "past" quality, reliability and performance. I purchased a 2024 Camry SE about 2 months ago and I have noticed the quality has definitely declined in the newer years lots of cheap plastic and carpet is really cheap. The under carriage plastic splash guards are a total joke! I had to remove the cheap plastic guards because they were loaded with about 10 lbs. of road gravel and dirt "not" an easy job to do to remove all the plastic clips. other than that no complaints on the performance so far. The Camry gets pretty good gas mileage for a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder sedan.

2022 Ford F-150 review
My experience with Ford F1 50s is that they have gotten better with time. I’ve owned three now and my latest 2022. I’ve had zero performance issues. None of the electrical problems like somebody put in a review no transmission no engine problems nothing. It’s a 3.5 L V6 eco-boost and it has the best passing power of any vehicle I’ve ever owned. It can also toll anything in the backup cameras and all the front and above cameras are absolutely essential and work great. Most of all it has had a couple of recalls they’ve taken a bit of time, but I don’t care if they recalls. I’m not paying for them. None of them have been major things all have been fixed. Undoubtedly this is the most comfortable vehicle I’ve ever driven. It’s quiet it rides like a comfort sedan and it has a large enough gas tank to get me a couple of states. The hard roll up Ford cover is much less expensive than some aftermarket types. It’s not floppy. It’s solid and easy to use. This baby has been in the field. I’ve hunted and harvested a half a dozen deer with this beast out in the middle of nowhere of North Dakota. It’s completely reliable.

Very happy with our purchase! It's got lots of power & very comfortable. With 2nd row folded down we can get 24 bags of groceries in it. Seats are comfortable & my husband who's 6'6" has plenty of leg room. Now I understand why I see so many Kias on the road!!! It's a joy to drive!

2025 Toyota Camry review
Excellent gas mileage! The 2025 Toyota Camry LE model is a very smooth ride. Sporty get up and go and very agile. The driver's seat is difficult to find the best comfort for long drives. Storage space is minimal, but I found add-ons that were a perfect fit. Bottom line.... a car you can trust that pays itself off at the pump!
