2023 Jaguar F-TYPE review
I've only had it a few weeks. So, can't speak to reliability. But design, inside a d out, is fabulous. Engine performance (and sound) is great. Ride is a bit more calm than I expected, which is nice since this is mostly a GT for me. But, even with that forgiveness, it is planted in corners. Great blend. I won't be doing track days, so the 450 is all I need. Value is debatable for a car/toy like this. But, I have no buyer remorse, so that says something!

2003 Jaguar XK8 review
Outstanding touring car for two normal-sized people (under 200 or so pounds each). Trunk in convertible model is large for a sports-tourer, and able to easily carry two sets of golf clubs plus. Space behind seats is best used for medium-sized back packs or only very small kids. Car has stunning looks and gets a lot of attention so be prepared for a lot of questions. I've owned my 2003 since about 2006 when it was still under factory warranty. Car has been very reliable and problem free. I have it serviced at an after-market Jaguar shop with factory-trained owners who suggest repairs before they produce problems (such as cooling hoses and brake parts when they wear out or get soft), etc. Jaguar parts, when you do need them, are not cheap but why should they be? Quality anything is not cheap and that's why I like my Jaguar. It's a very beautiful and stunning car in all respects and I'm glad I bought mine when I did. It's Jaguar Racing Green with a tan top and light beige interior and has a six speed with a clutch-less shifter which is as smooth as butter (but why not, it's a ZF, which is German). It's got 19" wheels, maybe chromed by the selling dealer in LA. If you don't like lots of attention and plenty of questions, don't buy a Jaguar. I don't regret not getting the supercharged model because my 4.2 V-8 has plenty of power and the "super" model only came with Navigation, which quickly became obsolescent. I prefer the three gages in the walnut dash in place of the Nav. system. The drop-dead gorgeous dashboard is hard to take your eyes off while driving on a sunny day with the top down. But I manage! I love my Jag and it's not for sale!

1999 Jaguar XK8 review
If you are after comfort and looks, this is the car for you, but, and here's the big but, be prepared to spend more than normal for maintenance. It is a Jaguar, and that is a small company, and there are not that many dealers to take the car to, and when you do, bring a full wallet or a very good credit card. Not a sports car. This is a grand touring car, and not something for the race track. It is pretty quick for what it is, and it does handle well.

2010 Jaguar XK review
I have owned 3 corvettes before this car and have to say, this XKR has had more head turning photos and washes than the last 5 years of miles driving summers. It is such a powerhouse and joy to drive with the top down while listening to the supercharger kick in. With its original MSRP at $105K, these represent an outstanding value in a high performance touring sports car, I have nothing but good to say about my 2010 XKR ❤️

2004 Jaguar XK8 review
When on the lookout for a 1986-1987 xj6, I came across 2004 xk8 convertible, black on black 55k miles, rust-proofed, from Florida. Selling for $10k, the price was competitive w/the older xj6, but newer. (That’s good & bad.) I bought for $9k! + $1,100 enclosed shipping (@2700 mi.) The looks hints at Maserati, BMW, other Brit autos. The GOOD: Engine Performance, Speed, smooth, tight, true pin point, handling, has the looks, comfortable ride, LOVES going 90 mph on highway, no gasket or other leaks. The BAD: ‘O2 sensors’, other sensors (engine coolant sensor, engine sensor) Seems there’s always a bad sensor turning up, cd player in trunk not working, parts usually expense - ONE 10” alum. tube to a/c $235 new. Conv. Roof & rear windows not operating (cleaning contacts under the roof operation button under J-Gate fixed that. Soda, dirt, dust gets in from the shift slots.) Two mechanics couldn't figure it out. An Auto/boat Upholstery shop cured the riddle.), a/c quit at 60k mi., repaid will run @ total $900 four parts, 4 hrs. labor, Freon. Waiting for parts to arrive, I took a quick 1.5 hr. jaunt to the Poconos to see a couple bands, Fri. & Sat. No a/c in June, I lowered the windows, all was well, arrive at hotel, go to put up windows, I was dismayed rear windows were still down… and STILL down tight now. This is the 2nd time in 3 yrs. this occurred. I don’t drive the car that much, no winters. So, reoccurring bad O2 /sensors, rear windows again, a/c problems is said to be normal. The xk8 uses a LOT of battery. It has a large battery. Ez for one to die, $160 new. I love the car, but if another repair comes SOON, I may have to let her go. (I NEVER had these episodes, problems with the ‘86 xj6.)

2004 Jaguar XK8 review
I purchased the car approx 3 yrs ago with 69 and change on the odometer. I haven't had one single problem with it although I only drive it in the summer. An old couple had the car, traded it in at a Mazda dealership for a little cross over. Nonetheless the car was in excellent shape even had the factory perelli P zero's. The only thing I would say that is completely annoying and shocking at the same time is how the car rattles over irregular surfaces. (the car was 80 grand in 2004, really?) The seats aren't comfortable no matter how tall you are, I'm only 5'8 and I can never find the perfect position, that's annoying as well and it certainly doesn't encourage long road trips. The suspension feels sloppy at times unless your on a perfect road... I live in Chicago so that's out the question. Other than that I absolutely love the car because it's not a lot around and i always wanted a drop top at a reasonable price. I only take my Jag out when I'm trying to impress a date... I hasn't let me down yet! I always get lucky! That's gotta be worth 5 stars by itself! My advice, if you find one in great condition after 2003 because, that's when ford went to an all metal timing chain guide, I think you you'll be happy + the only kid on the block with a vintage Jag that closely resembles a Ferrari!

1997 Jaguar XK8 review
I bought the convertible new in 1997 and still have it in 2026 (90,000km) as my second "fun" car Sapphire blue, dead gorgeous, and an absolute treat with the top down on nice days. I'm fortunate to live in picturesque countryside with nice motoring roads. I'll treated her well and had very few problems, touch wood.

2002 Jaguar XK8 review
I always wanted a Jaguar XK-8 in the early 2000s, so bought a Coupe NEW from Rosenthal in N. VA. I love to drive it and it is a "Head-Turner". I have had it maintained/serviced religiously, and have had no issues of note . . . and it is currently performing like new! Selling only because my wife has difficulty getting in & out due to age issues and wants a sedan!? It is a GREAT car that I am regrettably selling.

2000 Jaguar XK8 review
I just bought this Coupe with 60,000 miles on the clock. The vehicle had been in a minor accident, but is still in decent condition. He runs like a stallion! I plan on changing out the transmission filter/fluid to keep the transmission shifting smoothly. (I am currently replacing the valve chains/tensioners on April 2nd, 2024). I'll keep working on the interior and plan on replacing the old headlamps with LED units. I also plan on removing (and selling) the rear seats, replacing them with slide bars for extra luggage room. This really is a two-seat, Grand Touring automobile, not a Sports Coupe. Since I have no family (and never will) the XK8 will allow me to travel at 1000+ mile stretches in comfort. The style is impeccable and the engine's smooth performance is pulse-quickening. Since I live in Northwestern Oregon, the convertible wasn't a practical option, so I sought out a Coupe. (I'm happy that I did). Put your money into restoring one of these Grand Touring machines. You'll gain more attention than the Corvette, Mercedes, Audi, Nissan and Porsche owners and you'll enjoy the ride. Come on. You know that you really want one, or you wouldn't be reading this.

2004 Jaguar XKR review
Hard to get past the gorgeous appearance of this car. The exclusive Jupiter Red on the rare Portfolio is mind boggling. I'm constantly told how great it looks. It actually drives well, too. 400 horsepower on tap when you make the supercharger whine. Normal driving is effortless and comfortable in the Recaro seats. To be sure, the back seat is really a nicely upholstered package shelf.
