The overall experience at Scranton Chevy was awesome. Bill the salesman was very friendly and not your stereotypical salesman he didn?t push a sale or have that shady feel that you would think of when buying a car. The financial officer was also very friendly talked to me as if I was a regular person explained everything in detail and made sure we knew all the options. After the paperwork was done Bill showed me all the options of my vehicle and answered any questions I had about the vehicle. Days after the purchase I was called to see how I was liking my new vehicle . I would suggest Scranton Chevy to anyone looking to buy a new/used vehicle and will be going back in the future.
2022 Hyundai SANTA FE review
Bought it use with 70k miles on it recently. I looks almost showroom new. I figured if it hasn't gone bad yet, I should have no major issues. I love the tech and comfort and gas mileage is so so, but you can't have everything and at the price of 16K it was well worth it. Love this car and hope to get a good 200K miles out of it. One note is that it never left flordia so it didn't get all that salt from the roads in the winter. After looking at the new ones, I'll take the 2022 over the 2025 or 2026 any day!

2018 Honda Accord review
You have to get the 2.0T and not the 1.5L. They hold way higher values while also being an absolute blast to drive with a large aftermarket community for this vehicle. Mine was totaled in a hailstorm, and after quite a bit of reserch this is the only vehicle I would buy again.

2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
The equinox is very nice for the price. My biggest complaint is has a horrible suspension. I even lowered air pressure in the tires below the recommended pressure and the ride was no better. You feel every little bump in the pavement.

2024 Ford Escape review
Pretty good except it has a clicking noise. Pretty sure im gonna have to take it to the shop after only 3 weeks. Have to see if there is an issue as recalls on the transmission keep Popping up in my Facebook feed.

I was in the market for a Pontiac Fiero when I came across their dealership that had one. When i went, I dealt with Matt, who was easy going and therefore I felt no pressure. Granted I was considering a vintage car so a perfect car was not expected. He answered all of my questions regarding the car and even offered limited information on the previous owner which helped give me a sense of continuity with the history of the car. I purchased the car and although early in my ownership, the car seems to be as described.
2021 Jeep Compass review
I had a really nice 2022 Chevy Equinox RS last year, but due to my commute over a mountain pass during winter, I was afraid it was going to get trashed. I decided to trade it in on a 2021 Jeep Compass Limited, believing that it would be a more rugged option. I am so impressed with my little Compass! Its leaps and bounds over the Equinox in my opinion. The Compass is more responsive, more comfortable and definitely more solid. I love how my doors unlock when I reach for the door handle. I love the tight turning radius (I’ve owned two Wranglers), and I absolutely how it handled compact snow and ice on the highway in Montana earlier this spring. I felt extremely safe driving my little Jeep Compass, whereas the Equinox always felt like it was “lightweight “. The only “bells & whistles” the Equinox had that the Compass lacks, is the remote rear door release on the fob and on the driver’s door and maybe the 9-speaker Bose sound. As long as I can listen to my memory stick with 5k+ songs with all 8-speakers working, I’m happy!! The mileage is comparable; the Equinox had a 1.5L 4 Cyl w/turbo and 6-spd transmission; the Compass has a 2.4L 4 cyl w/9-spd transmission, and I like having a little more meat under the hood. The Equinox is considered a mid-size SUV, Jeep Compass is a little smaller and rated as a “compact” SUV, however cargo capacity (cubic inch) is equal. The seats in the Equinox were very short under my behind, only extending halfway between my butt and my knees, if that, so long trips were not super comfortable. The shorter seats did allow for a little roomier cabin, which my husband liked, but since it’s my vehicle… yeah. I absolutely love my Jeep Compass Limited. I really wanted a Trailhawk model, and I might trade up to that version later, unless I can afford another Wrangler or ultimately a Gladiator. Summing it up, I am a Jeep Girl, and while I initially thought the Compass “isn’t really a Jeep”, I have happily been proven wrong. I refer to it as a Baby Jeep that wants to grow up to be a Wrangler Unlimited.

I'm a first time car buyer and was getting very upset with my experience in buying a car. Most all the dealerships were acting like I was a nuisance, not a guest. If I asked for something they sighed and made a face. I was getting highly upset and was about to just not buy a car at all. That's when I was driving by Nissan of Norwich and decided to try one more dealership. I was not really a Nissan guy and had always owned Jeeps before this, but what does it hurt to step out of your comfort zone and try something new? I was greeted by Richard Parker who ended up being my sales associate I worked with through the entire process. I came in just as they were closing without realizing it. But he still wanted to take the time to help me out and test drive not one but two SUVs - Nissan Rouges. After test driving the 2014 Nissan Rouge, I fell in love! No more Jeep for me. I came back two days later and worked again with Richard and Eric in the finance office. The banks originaly did not approve me for the Black Rouge I wanted, but Eric called them up and used the dealerships great track record and good relationship with the bank to advocate on my behalf. It was AMAZING the magic this guy has. He actually got me Approved!! I drove away in the car I wanted! These folks at Nissan of Norwich are truly professionals and know exactly what they are doing, and they do it with Style. I can't explain how happy I am that I am in that vehicle. Unlike the other dealerships, they actually took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure to match me with a vehicle that completely fit my needs and my budget. They were respectful of my time and what I could bring to the table and really put the effort in to make the deal happen. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great vehicle. They actually have a used 2012 Plum Nissan Rouge, that was my second choice it's a really nice vehicle. It won't be there for long though, I'm sure it will sell fast lol. But Go check it out, go check them out, I guarantee, you will not be disappointed at all.

2024 Nissan Sentra review
I HAD TWO (MINOR?) PROBLEMS WITH MY NISSAN SENTRA SV 2024 SO FAR; REPAIRED BY THE CAR BASIC WARRANTY (I ONLY ‘PAID’ IN TIME WAITING IN THE NISSAN SERVICE CENTER). 1. BATTERY SUDDENLY DRAINED: THE PROBLEM BEGAN AT AROUND 3,200 MILES AND IT TOOK THREE DIAGNOSTIC VISITS, THE LAST ONE FOCUSING ON THE PARASITIC DRAIN, TO FIND A PROBLEM INVOLVING THE BATTERY. BATTERY AND RELATED PARTS REPLACED SUCCESSFULLY (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY). 2. POWER WINDOWS MECHANISM BROKE DOWN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS AROUND 5,200 MILES (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY).

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. 2025 Nissan Kicks review
Only had my 2025 kicks sv a few months , 4k miles but I like it a lot , look , style, drives well and it very comfortable. Love all the included safety features that other car companies charge extra for . Gas mileage is incredible. Gave it a 5 across the board, as my last 3 new cars have been a Colorado , for maverick and jeep wrangler. Cost , value of the redesign kicks is much better imop . Dash layout and how easy everything is to use .

2023 Hyundai SONATA review
Purchased a 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL. The car had 27000 miles on it. It met my requirements for power, ride, comfort, and options. I've had it for about a month now and it is everything I was hoping to have in a good performing, comfortable, reliable car. I especially like the interior cabin space and the display screen, Nice big, clear backup camera, and the some of the options for driver assist are great including the variable cruise control, the blind spot warning alert, and the lane departure warning alert.

2017 Nissan Frontier review
Great mid-size truck. We bought it in November 2022. I had to replace the throttle positioning sensor and that is all. 4.0 auto 5 speeds. It woud do a better if 6 speed, but I still get 19-20 mpg if I baby it. The 6 cylinder has good power at over 260hp. I recommend the frontier. My son has a 4 cyl 1997 hardbody now for 12+ years. Both trucks are great.

2021 Ford Bronco Sport review
Generally the styling is nice, you really can see where the older Escape was used as the basis for this vehicle. The interior is nice and comfortable. Ford missed the mark on storage. The dead space behind the screen, as one example. You can buy a bin that will fit very nicely in that spot. Mileage has been good. Road noise can be a little much as times, and the ride can get a little jittery at speed. There is an odd shudder between 35 and 40mph, that the service tech said is from "cylinder deactivation". Ford and other manufacturers have had this technology for a long time. Seems hard to believe that Ford would screw it up. Was told that it happens in Eco or Normal mode. In Sport mode it's less noticeable, and doesn't really effect the mileage that much. Tried it, didn't see much of a difference. Other issue is legroom in the back seat. I'm 6'4" (and it's surprisingly easy for me to get in and out), but I need to have the seat back a bit. Leaves very little room for a back seat passenger. Overall, pretty good vehicle. Hopefully in the next gen, they'll correct some of these issues.

2020 Ford Escape review
I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

My wife loves how stable it is. Our other SUV tilts during turns, but Fusion gives you a peace of mind that it won't overturn. Lumbar support seats are awesome, and pretty well designed. Also enjoying power seat adjust on front seats. Ideal commuter. Impressed to get 38 mpg town/freeway. I love toyota prius too but fusion is a better looking car IMHO. Only con is a small screen especially when backing up , but we have SE trim,so that's why. Loving fuel tank that's capless, 1 less thing to twist. Just insert that hose at a gas station and remove when done! The interior is also very quiet so taking a phone call is a breeze. Really loving intuitive physical button controls. We entertained an idea of getting another car with a big sensor screen and on-screen buttons, but we are not giving up our physical controls on Ford after all! I have read this is a very reliable car among American manufacturers. Piece of advise: but $20 lug nuts and replace stock ones on wheels ,because they get swollen, buldge and impossible to remove in field conditions.
