Excellent experience with Pat's Auto ! I purchased a like new condition 07 Mustang GT, traded in an older model Mustang GT for it. After an extensive search for a late model automatic Mustang GT for my wife and I to both enjoy I found this car while searching the web. I left a message inquiring about this car and the owner Phil contacted me the next morning to answer all my questions and invited me to take the car for a test drive that morning. As my Mustang was not registered, he drove 60 miles that day to my home to appraise my car. We worked out a very fair deal for both my trade and the new car. Phil was extremely accommodating as I live over an hour away from his dealership and met me after hours in order to deliver the car to me. I was actually shocked a small dealer would do this which was greatly appreciated. You will not find this level of service with a large/corporate dealer. His assistant Elaine was also great to work and helped with all the paper work and getting the car registered. For not being close to his dealership, the small fee they charge for all the running around with the registry and insurance company was priceless. My new car needed minor warranty work which was taken care of right away. Phil is extremely honest and stands by his cars. He has a great selection of cars, especially high quality sports cars and specialty cars. I would highly recommend his dealership and if you are looking for a particular car, this guy will find it. He's extremely particular with what he buys, so easy to work with and zero pressure. I can't thank him and his small staff for everything they did to make this one of the best car buying experiences I have had to date. I look forward to doing additional business with him in the future. Thanks again to Phil and his staff for everything!!! My wife and I love our new Mustang !!!!
My husband and I went to numerous dealerships looking for a specific car. After visiting dealer within a 50 mile radius, we expanded our search and are so happy that we did. James Motors was a 115 mile drive which turned out to be worth every mile. Anthony agreed to meet us at the dealership on a Sunday morning to look at the car and take it for a test drive. We got to the dealership slighly earlier which allowed us the time to do a walk around of the exterior. We actually talked about how clean all the cars looked on the lot (much larger dealerships we visited had cars on their lot with trash still inside the cars), Anthony showed up on time, put the dealer plate on and allowed us to go for the test drive alone. Anthony was extremely friendly, professional, and so easy to deal with. No negotiation struggle, no sales pitch, just an all around great conversation and purchase agreement. Due to living so far away, he again agreed to meet us to pick up the car on Sunday morning. The car was in his shop all shined up and ready for us to pick up. There's no question as to whether we'll buy another car from Anthony. He will now be our first call when we're searching.
Shortly after entering the building we were graciously greeted by Anita. It was a cold Friday and we were offered snacks and hot beverage. Our questions were answered. At no time did I felt pressured to buy any vehicle. We requested to drive multiple cars and I didn't felt like I was testing their patience by the various requests. The rest of the rest were respectful but Anita stood out, she is the epitome of what it mean to be a great customer care respresentatives
The lot at Carite has a vast selection. I came there with a one track mind and was only going to purchase a Rav4 but ended up with a Nissan instead. So much to choose from, the cars appears clean and well taken care of.
I would not hesitate to shop here again.
Vroom rushed me thru the process of purchasing a vehicle from them. Had strict requirements of receiving payment within 48 hours. I was rushing my loan department to get my paperwork completed ahead of other customers in fear of losing the vehicle I wanted to another buyer. The loan paperwork and a check had to be overnighted to Vroom to meet their qualifications. THEN CAME TIME FOR THEM TO GET THE THINGS I NEEDED TO ME!!! I HAD TO REPEATEDLY ASK ABOUT THE ARRIVAL OF MY TRADE IN TO THEIR FACILITY (which they kept telling me for 15 days that it hadn???t reached their facility??!! Yeah right)!! THEY DRUG THEIR FEET ON SENDING THE PAYOFF OF MY TRADE IN SO LONG THAT THE 15 Day PAYOFF THEY WERE QUOTED EXPIRED AND I HAD TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE FROM MY OWN ACCOUNT!! I WAITED 26 DAYS TO RECEIVE TITLE PAPERWORK!! BUT THE PAPERWORK THEY NEEDED FROM ME HAD TO BE SENT WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS!! YOU SHOULD GIVE AS GOOD AS YOU EXPECT, VROOM!! I HAD TO KEEP REQUESTING A REFUND OF THE $500 THEY CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD TO HOLD THE VEHICLE FOR A WEEK!!! LASTLY, the 2nd person I dealt with following the sales person was RUDE.
A very pleasant and positive experience with the vroom team. We found a car we liked and it was about to ship when they did the final inspection which they found an issue with the engine. At that point they called and let me know. We picked out another vehicle went through the process of signing everything with that one and went through final inspection. Within signing for the second vehicle and having it at our house was 7 days. Everyone on the team was very responsive and quick to answer any phone calls or emais. Overall very happy and will consider vroom again in the future. One thing that would have been better was if they did the inspection before the vehicles are on the site or before the paperwork is sent out just so it doesn???t waste as much time if the vehicle doesn???t pass inspection.
What a pleasant surprise in the age of dealers slight of hand ie: I just sold that vehicle or they never had it to begin with, but I have this one instead or misrepresenting the condition of the vehicle. This is a honest up front dealer who does not waste your time with idle chatters and explains all cost right up front. I am the type of person who when looking for a vehicle wants the bottom line number and I was given that with no surprises when closing the deal. I would recommend this dealer to all my friends and family who need a vehicle.

I just picked up my new car at CarMax of Hartford and, I have to say, this was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. I had found a Ford Explorer that I wanted to see on their lot. I put a hold on the vehicle on their website, very early in the morning. By 9am the same morning, I was contacted by Rocco Toce, the most awesome sales person around. I have bought many vehicles through the years and he is the top of the list! We went to look at the truck and he had it clean and ready for us to test drive. We loved the truck but it just didn’t have all the options that we were looking for. I found the exact Explorer we wanted in New York and Rocco jumped right in to help us transfer the vehicle to Hartford. I have to admit, it IS a leap of faith to pay the transfer fee upfront before even seeing the vehicle in person. Rocco jumped in and took over. He spoke to the other CarMax and had them check every part of the vehicle out. I felt very comfortable after he called and told me the truck sounds good. My Explorer made it to Hartford very quickly and Rocco immediately checked it out and let us know it was perfect! I went to see it yesterday. It was beautiful and in the best shape. Rocco took us through the entire car and never rushed us through anything. He sent our Explorer to detailing while my 2009 Silverado was appraised. I received a fair price for my trade and the deal was smooth and handled professionally by the staff. I’m pretty sure I have not had a better car buying experience. Rocco and the team at Hartford CarMax could not have done more to make our experience the best. I did a ton of research about CarMax like I’m sure everyone does. I drove over an hour to work with them and I am so glad I did. We walked out of there with a great, shiny Ford Explorer and the greatest car buying experience!
Bob DiNapoli, the assistant service manager, is the best. He makes sure you’re totally happy with your service appointment. He is very friendly and knowledgeable.
