After a few weeks of “window” shopping for a potential new vehicle I stopped by and finally had a hands on look at the car that caught my eye. With Raul and Dionte’s help, I was able to upgrade and get into a new vehicle after having my Chevy Cruze for 12 years. As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I suggest that management do whatever it can to retain the services of its multi-talented and perceptive Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. He is well trained, experienced, intelligent, and dedicated as I have seen first hand when he has worked with me. Needed help with cost of rear wheel alignment. But salesman would not consider any help with a price drop to help me cover the alignment as was noted by mechanics.

I had a great experience with my salesman, Dan McCarthy, at Hawk Mazda. I told him what I wanted, and he made it happen. No pressure, he listens to you and does his best to get you what you want. This is the 3rd time I’ve purchased a Mazda from Dan at Hawk. Their cars are the best, their whole team is welcoming, friendly and polite. I won’t shop anywhere else!
