2013 MINI Roadster review
My 2013 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works Roadster is absolutely a blast. The JCW package includes more power and better brakes and suspension for fun back roads blasting and autocross use. It's a little harsh for daily driving, however, as the JCW suspension is a little lower and stiffer. I also have ultra high performance run flats on it, as there's no room for a spare, and I don't want to wait around for a tow if I get a nail or something in a tire. When new, this was a $45k car, and a bit expensive for a MINI. But on the used market, they are a real performance and economy value. They do have a reputation for worse reliability than normal cars, but if you find a well taken care of example, the N18 powered JCW and S roadsters are actually quite robust. I hope to have this car for many fun filled years to come, and would recommend people looking at sports cars give them a chance.

2014 MINI Countryman review
The countryman is the perfect compromise for those who want a Mini and still want a workable amount of interior space. The gas mileage is insanely good, it's fun to drive, and you will be running laps past everyone at the stoplights because of how zippy it is. Parking is also never an issue, always lots of space, and easy to maneuver. My only two complaints are that maintenance tends to be expensive (when you factor in the gas savings though, I'd say it pays for itself) and the engine is weak. If you load even just a couple hundred pounds of passengers and cargo into it, it can drive for maybe an hour or so before the engine light kicks on and begs for mercy. I've never had this result in an actual issue that caused a breakdown or required us to pull over, and maintenance confirmed that there are no larger issues with my engine in particular. Turns out that it just limits its own engine power whenever it's struggling. But it is a bit annoying, especially on longer trips.

2009 MINI Cooper S review
I've not driven it yet, but we investigated everything from the variable valve system to the turbo charger and watched a video of a complete teardown of the engine. We were so impressed that even before finishing the purchase of the one we were already looking for another one. This engine is AMAZING!! Can't WAIT to drive it!! And with a 6 Speed manual? 2016 MINI Countryman review
This is our third MINI. We have a 2008 Cooper and a 2013 Countryman. It's become an addiction. Usually, by the time we pay off a vehicle we want to replace it. Not with MINI. We love ours and the 2016 Countryman is no exception. It's larger than the 2013, but it's still familiar. I'm the shortest at 5'9". Hubby is just under 6' and our son is 6'2". We all feel like the MINI's were designed for tall people. We refer to them as TARDISes because they are bigger on the inside. Smooth ride. Comfortable handling. Safe. Extremely reliable. Stylish. Would highly recommend.

Since I had been declined in other dealerships I was ok with getting an older vehicle to get by for now like a 2013 for under 7k but never was I expecting to drive out with a 2018 Honda! Nour my Salesman helped me out with the entire process and set me up with a payment plan with his manager and also helped me all the way even with insurance! 2018 MINI Countryman review
Purchased this used for my son at a great value and it is a very engaging car to drive. Whats remarkable is how it has almost everything my BMW X7 has in terms of tech. It has plenty of pep and the ride is what I expected for a sporty small vehicle. Interior room is more than expected and the sunroof is much quieter than my BMW that you will forget its open. The build quality is better than any vehicle in this segment and MPG is better than what they list on the specs. Handling is precise and braking is grabby until you get used to it. The only negative is the Run Flat tires which I will replace.

2018 MINI Countryman review
Bought a 2018 Mini Countryman Base model pre owned and have loved everyday with it. Only had one issue and that being something with the Valve Gas Breather. I have yet to fix it yet and it’s been about 3 months. Doesn’t cause any noticeable performance issue (besides the decrease in fuel mileage), just the check engine light on. Other than that, I drive this around the island. Very easy to park and maneuver around. I am planning on getting the newer Mini Countryman about 2 years after they’re released so they can work out all the kinks and stuff.

For over a month, I hunted for a reliable, low-mileage car with excellent safety features, low maintenance, and something within my budget. I checked online sites like Cars.com, Carfax, and CarGurus, visited around 10 dealerships (both independent lots and franchises), made tons of phone calls, and even explored Carvana and CarMax. Too many places baited me with low online prices, only to pile on thousands in hidden fees once I showed up—things like mandatory down payments, wear-and-tear charges, inspection fees, and dealership add-ons. But from this experience, I learned a lot about how dealerships really work and gained some valuable knowledge: never fully trust the prices posted online without confirming the true out-the-door cost in person. After five frustrating in-person visits, I was ready to give up on traditional dealerships and just overpay at CarMax to avoid the headaches. Right away, I met sales representative Christopher Chavous (everyone calls him Chris). He was patient, professional, and didn’t bombard me with unnecessary questions or personal info. He showed me the Crosstrek I was interested in, sat with me for two detailed test drives, and explained all the features thoroughly. The standout moment? Chris gave me the true out-the-door price immediately—no games, no surprises, exactly matching the online listing with zero hidden fees. In an industry full of tricks, this level of honesty instantly built trust, which is everything when buying a car. After some fair negotiation, the manager approved a solid discount, and we sealed the deal that same day. Since it was Saturday and close to closing (they couldn’t finish the NY inspection), they went the extra mile and loaned me a brand-new Subaru Crosstrek to drive until Monday when my car was ready. Finance manager Yuri Miyakawa handled the paperwork smoothly, got me a great rate, and made everything straightforward. 2023 MINI Convertible review
Still relatively new with just over 200mls, but a fun car to run around in. Comfortable ride and pretty zippy with the turbo. Quite surprised how roomy for a small car and can’t wait for a trip to see if it’s comfortable after a few hours in the car

I’m really happy with my experience with you today buying a pre-owned Subaru Crosstrek. I have been shopping around for a couple weeks, had some numbers in mind, and came to you hoping to work out a good deal. I talked with both Jaden and Dylan about the car I wanted and I took it for a test a drive and they explained a a few things I didn’t know beforehand too. They walked me through the service history and inspection too and answered all of the questions I had. I already had some numbers in mind and these guys didn’t try and xx me or work me over. We came to an agreement pretty quickly. Ray the sales manager was great, he gets right to the point which I like. I hate dealing with the car buying experience but today was honestly pretty good! Christine in finance was great. If you know the dealership experience, the finance room is where some extra add-ons are always pitched. I already had some expectations of what would be pitched here from my research. Some of it is worth it, some isn’t for me personally. She wasn’t pushy, just informative and helped me understand what they had to offer and I said no to a few things that I wasn’t concerned with and received no pushback. The last time I dealt with a dealership was 11 years ago and I didn’t return to that one for a reason. But I’ve had a good experience here and will come back the next time I need a car and will be recommending it to friends too.

2024 MINI SE Hardtop review
I've owned a lot of cars and the MINI Cooper SE is my favorite. It's quick, fun, great looking, has lots of cargo room with the rear seats folded, easy to drive, and incredibly reliable. I've had no issues at all. The 0-60 time and range are both underrated. I've gotten 139 miles on a charge, driving economically. Only need to charge at home once or twice a week. It's great. Highly recommend this vehicle.
