2026 Honda Ridgeline review
Ridgeline Black Edition, the top-of-the-line model, is a great light utility vehicle that also makes a great daily driver. As comfortable to drive as a car. Gets good gas mileage for a truck and has many outstanding safety features, which is why I bought it again after owning two. Next year is going to be a major upgrade. The current model does not have all the features of the Honda Pilot, which has the same engine. Upgraded stereo, heated and cooled seats, and a place to charge your phone without connecting with a cable. Electronics are somewhat confusing because they are layered. Really good view out the front and side. Only black interior. Locked trunk in bed. AC outlet in bed. Quick in acceleration, 0-60 in about six seconds if needed. Steering is somewhat heavy and not exactly as precise as my last model. Overall, this is my third, and I keep coming back because it works for me. AWD can tow 5000 lbs. The black edition comes in three colors: Black, White, and Sonic Gray Pearl, which I bought, and many have commented on. Would I buy again or wait till next year when a hybrid comes out? I needed the safety features now, and the first year of a new edition generally is not that reliable.

2026 Ford F-450 review
I moved up from an f350 to an F450. I was shocked to learn the turning radius was much shorter. The wheel,brakes and tires are also larger. I love this truck. I use it to haul our 5th wheel RV and 3 horse trailer. If you're on the fence between an f350 and f450 DRW. I'd do the f450.

2025 Toyota GR86 review
This car does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s light, agile and excellent value for the money. That said, it wasn’t the car for me. Its biggest fault is the throttle response. I noticed that when I first test drove a GR86, but I thought I could adapt. I was wrong. It was too difficult to drive smoothly at slower speeds and even with a aftermarket throttle module, I still could not get it to drive smoothly. I’ve owned over a dozen manual sports cars over the past three decades, so I know how to drive. The last one was a track spec’d Corvette Grand Sport, which was an excellent driver. Don’t be turned off by this review, just make sure the drivability matches your tastes

2026 Nissan Frontier review
Following several months of research and comparisons, I bought a 2026 Frontier Pro-4x long bed. Absolutely love it. The truck is very comfortable and very well built, solid 6cyl engine and smooth as butter 9 speed transmission. I got both the convenience pkg and the premium pkg and glad I did. The premium pkg includes the TailorFit(™) synthetic leather seats that are much more supportive than the cloth seats, softer than Napa leather but much more durable. I do not find the hydraulic steering “heavy” at all, I find it to be very smooth and responsive. There are lots of very good aftermarket accessories available for the frontier. Overall, I believe this is the best value in a midsize pickup, perhaps tops in dependability as well (maybe ties with 2026 Toyota, but their new 4cyl turbo’s dependability is unknown). Consider the long-bed, it is the ultimate combo of midsize truck with super-size functionality. The LB seems to drive smoother on the highway and the extra length in the bed can fit things that many full size pickups cannot. It is terrific!

What a great dealership! After being mislead at another local dealership (drove 2 hours to get to this one, rhymes with tow), I called to see if another vehicle was still available. To my luck, Brandon with Rusty Drewing Toyota answered and was nothing but exceptional during our visit! He quickly got me a response and made sure the vehicle was ready as I was pulling in. We ended up driving this vehicle home that same day because of Brandon and his EXCELLENT customer service and overall great experience at this dealership! Usually you get the overly sales pitched, on top of you, annoying and usually somewhat dishonest sales person at a car dealership, not at Rusty's! You will be treated like family! Offered, drinks, snacks, a play area for kids and down right honest conversations, where you know you get a fair trade, and a quality vehicle at a price you can achieve! Brandon did nothing but process this deal quickly (which I appreciated with two young kids under five and the hubby not with me that day), honestly and openly tell me about pricing and financing options, offered us a great vehicle and made it an easy process! He even has the best marketing, leaving you lots of his fun stickers so you know who to call and who to refer, which I have been doing since buying from Brandon at Rusty's! Our finance associate was also FANTASTIC! He was quick and kind in explaining details and options and made the process easy too! To top it off, during that time, they offered our family a trip to their "candy store and ice cream" at the dealership, helping to keep my kiddos and myself happy during a process that does take a little time. After finishing things up we were gifted a nice wine bottle and some more of Brandon's personal goodies (snow scrapper, car koozies, etc.)! I have never felt more VIP at a dealership! I wish we lived closer so I could service all my vehicles through this dealership. It's really like none other! You'll need to find my guy Brandon because he's the BEST! He'll take care of you like family and keep the process enjoyable and light hearted too! 2026 BMW M5 review
Excellent engineering and styling in the '26 M5 Touring. Excellent handling. Missing are massaging seats and soft close doors for a vehicle in this price range. Wish there were softer suspension options. Beautiful vehicle and the Touring turns heads, as does the sedan

We found ourselves between a rock and a hard place and didn't think there was anything we could do, but we stopped at Machens to look at their "tent sale" vehicles. It was then that I ran into the greatest guy, Mr. MC Dampier, while I was certain there was nothing they could do to help us, MC was sure he could help us out. It took him less time than I thought and he had us preapproved for a reliable used car with low mileage and affordable payments. 2026 Mazda CX-90 review
Not a BMW, Lexus or Mercedes, but it comes reasonably close for the $20-30K savings. Upscale interior, tight handling, fairly quiet ride. I purchased the second from the bottom of the line: Turbo Preferred with the standard 280 hp inline 6 engine. Easily enough power. Negotiated the $45.5 sticker down to $40.5, still expensive but way lower than even the Honda Pilot. Only complaint: 3rd Seat is ONLY FOR KIDS.

2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6 review
My Ioniq 6 is the base SE model with front wheel drive only. This model has all the bells and whistles you need and the more expensive models have a number of cosmetic additions. Stylishly this car is a major improvement over earlier Hyundai models. There is some disagreement over the rear spoiler. Personally, I like the light show in the spoiler although I seldom see it since I'm driving. The seams on the car are a good tight fit with the possible exception of the front hood. The front trunk, or "funk," is useless which is a little hard to explain. If you look under it you notice a fairly empty space with a lot of wires. Reports are that the back trunk is small but I think the problem is its height and not depth. This is a slightly larger car than the Prius. The back seat has an impressive amount of room and if you lay down those seats you have quite a lot of trunk space but no back seat passengers. Performance is very good. In fact, the acceleration is astounding laying to rest the myth that EVs take a lot of time to accelerate. The electric motor apparently provides the same amount of torque at any speed unlike a gas engine. The amount of regenerative breaking is adjustable from the paddles on the steering wheel. I keep it at the highest setting and the car will break slightly when you take your foot off the accelerator. This takes some getting used to if you use this setting. Also, the car will keep moving slowly so you eventually have to break. At times the wheel seems to have a mind of its own. On a bumpy road with many turns the wheel seems to want to go where I don't. This brings me to an interesting feature. On cruise control with the lane keep assist and that line showing between the lanes on the monitor (see owners manual) the car us essentially self-driving as long as it can read the lane lines, You can take your hands off the steering wheel but if you do the car will reprimand you tell you to hold the wheel. The steering wheel is large and blocks the information on the lower part of the monitor. The blind spot monitor is very good and it will warn you on the exterior mirrors and the monitor in front of you. If a collision is possible the wheel will vibrate. The radar seems more sensitive than my other car so you get warning even when you still have plenty of room. The GPS has a lot of information, but I found it off by miles on certain sites. This car is very quiet. Much quieter than my plug-in hybrid. There is a slight whirring noise on acceleration and deceleration. When I drive near a pedestrian they seem surprised that a car is near them so be careful. I charged the car on a level 2 charger from 10% to 100% in 7 hours which I consider to be very good. The range is about 280 miles depending on temperature and type of driving. The car will notify you when the charge is down to 20% and it will tell you where the charge stations are. I would like to have a rear window wiper but this seems to have been eliminated on most cars. The rear defrost has done a good job of clearing this window so far. Visibility all around is very good. I would like it if the radio and past trip presets had a larger number visible. My other car goes up to 100. I'm not technically savvy and it will take me time to learn how to use all the features on this car. The owner's manual is large. One thing which may or may not be an issue is that I had difficulty turning the car off once. It appears that if you leave your foot on the break when turning it off the car may be getting a mixed signal to start and stop. Placing it in park first and taking your foot off the break seems to solve this. Finally, I notice in reviews on this site that the major negative response is that people think this car is expensive for what you get. I would expect to pay in the high $40,000 for an EV loaded with these features. I paid less than $10,000 under that.
