Purchasing the truck was an ok experience . However, after that things became less than pleasant. We stopped by the dealership and pointed out some issues that that needed to be repaired. Both, the salesperson and her boss examined our concerns and agreed that repairs were required and they would coordinate the work and get us a loaner and call us when these arrangements were completed. Over a week goes by and no one from the dealership contacts us and we have to initiate a call to request an update on work on our truck.Again, another week goes by and we have to call the dealership to discuss the timeframe for the necessary repairs . We are once again informed that they are still trying to coordinate the necessary work. Days go by and we call again and were told work would be scheduled but they could not provide us a loaner car. We were told that we could hang out in the dealership till work is completed, an offer we declined. The next day we received a call from Carlos Conejo, an employee in the service department, explaining that he was now assuming the the responsibility of completing the necessary work on our truck and that he would provide us with a loaner car . Carlos called us several times that day with detail information as to when we should bring the truck,procedure of repairs , and the time frame for work to be completed. We delivered the truck the next day to Cavender’s , Carlos provided us with a loaner and would call us to report on the progress of repairs. He called us again to inform us that work would not be completed today and that work will be completed tomorrow. The next day Carlos called to tell us that the work has been completed and we can come to get our truck anytime we wish. When we arrived at the dealership we met Carlos and he took us to inspect the repairs completed on our truck to make sure everything met our satisfaction. Carlos not only oversaw the necessary repairs in a very timely manner, but, he also had our truck completely detailed. Carlos proved to be a man of his word. Carlos introduced us to the general manager. Reggie Ford, who listened to our concerns and expressed sincere disappointment in our overall experience at his dealership. Reggie also commented on how much he appreciated our frank and sincere conversation and that he will use it to help make his employees better understand the importance of good customer service. My wife and I both lost respect and confidence in the Cavender Ford dealership in Columbus, but, Carlos and Reggie have restored our faith and trust in them. With Carlos and Reggie in the building we will gladly do business there again.Thanks James

Overall experience was good in purchasing a new truck in May 2025. Carlos Conejo, Service Advisor, was excellent in facilitating the repair process after almost 5 weeks working with sales person and her boss. Once Carlos got involved in our situation there were phones calls and arrangements were made to repair our truck immediately. He was able to get me a loaner car. Originally I was told by Joel(don’t know his title) that I would have to wait in his showroom all day and wait for my truck to be repaired. I knew that was not going to happen, and was called by Carlos to tell us that we would have a loaner car. Our truck was ready the next afternoon and probably 4 phone calls from Carlos with updates about the repairs. Also met with GM Reggie Ford and voiced our concerns about the lack of communication in those 5 weeks. Mr.Ford was very intent on listening to us about our conversations with his car dealership and was so professional in doing so. Left his office with better feelings than before. 2026 RAM 1500 review
I use trucks plow , haul and tow... I've owned Ford's and GM trucks as well. While the Ford were good, I've experienced that the longer durability wasn't equal to MOPAR.. I was a GM person for many years and they definitely are not an option for me any longer. The GM's I've owned seemed lighter duty, failed more often than Ford and MOPAR. This is my third MOPAR truck. The past 2 have been very reliable, 300K 259k both still on the road . My new 26 Ram only has 2500 miles on this new truck so I'm reluctant to give it an overall rate of 5 , things Ive experienced thus far.. Performance: The std in line 6 has plenty of punch to it. Milage : Around town I'm getting 21.5 recently took it on a 380 trip ,26.9 MPG although RAM still has issue with its on board MPG calculator it stated 27.9 an error of ~ 4.7% which some may think is picky , I say come on fix it! GM and Ford have it dialed in . Fix it MOPAR. Interiors is well thought out super quiet , seats are very comfortable so traveling long distances is a great experience. I still dislike that one cant order a 8 foot box on a 1500. We will see how this $78K holds up in terms of durability.. Value wise I'm totally unhappy with all brands 78K is just out of line. But then again , lots of folks buy trucks and use them for cars so when demand goes up so do prices. Value wise they out of sync with the customer

2026 Toyota Camry review
This is the car to have for its segment. It’s beautifully designed. It’s reliable. It’s great on gas. I’m getting 43 mpg. It’s actually fast too with its torquey electric motors assisting its bullet proof 2.5 liter four cylinder. Comfortable leather interior is gorgeous.

2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 review
Within first 500 miles I had check engine lights come on and truck went into limp mode. This is all while traveling for work! It’s not the dealership here its manufacture. Pay this much for dependable truck and it breaks down before your first oil change! Apparently it’s turbo issues and power steering gears so Chevrolet needs to do better on quality control before sending 100k trucks to the market!!!

A Spec Advance has all the features I need and is super comfortable. Massaging seats, heated steering wheel, heads up display and just the right amount of tech. 'm very pleased with Ryan Ford and the customer service they showed after my puchase. I purchased a 2006 Jeep Wrangler from them. I live in Lubbock so they transported the vehicle to me and only charged $300 to do so. I know it had to cost more than then in diesel alone. Once I got the Jeep and drove it about 50 miles, I noticed an oil leak which I discovered was from a leading rear main seal. Not a big deal and the part is pretty inexpensive but the labor to repair it can be costly. I took the Jeep to a reputable and dependable auto shop in Lubbock and they repaired the leak, but Curtis, my salesperson, made everything right on their end. The dealership reimbursed me for the replacing the rear main. They made it right, which is rare in this day and age. I appreciate Curtis and the ownership for their quick and fair response. I would recommend them to anyone.
2026 Ford F-250 review
We did a lot of comparison between the F250 and other American made pick up models. In our opinion, the 2026 F250 platinum model offered the best value for our purposes. We are very pleased so far.

2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
I`ve only had the Kia Sportage EX AWD hybrid for 3 weeks previously owning a 2023 Toyota Rav4 XLE (gas) that seemed bullet proof even after 30K miles. Looking to upgrade to a new hybrid vehicle I was thoroughly impressed with my Kia test drive . The Kia Sportage is so smooth and quiet with strong acceleration and comes with an automatic transmission instead of a CVT. I had studied all the reviews available and concluded that this was among the top compact SUV hybrids .

2026 Nissan Murano review
This is the first Murano I have had the Nissan Rouge. I am so glad we bought this car. It is truly a comfortable car. The ride is very nice. I bought the two tone and love it. They did an amazing job designing this car. It has all the bells and whistles. The stereo system is out of this world; it has Bose stereo. The inside is awesome and outside. This car is so much better than the Rouge I had, as far xxx the design and style.

We recently bought our second Toyota from Don McGill. The first was a 2020Toyota Avalon and the second was a 2024 Toyota Crown. The first purchase went off without a hitch and we were very satisfied. The second car (the 2024 Crown) was purchased and delivered on 12/29/2023 with only one key FOB; I was told me I would get a second key FOB in six months. I subsequently talked to the service department; they promptly ordered one and I received it one week later. I do have an issue with the title department. My credit union is threatening to raise my loan interest rate if they don't receive the title. The only way to satisfy my credit union is to explain the process which I do not understand. The dealer should be more proactive in ensuring that the sales process does not end with delivery. My credit union still hasn't received the title. I am forced to keep calling which shouldn't be necessary.
2026 Toyota Tacoma review
I always wanted a midsize pickup truck and I always wanted one of the Toyota Tacoma. I driven one used which was bought by my brother in law in the 80 with no power option just old school pickup. Now turning the clock forward to 2026 my first midsize pickup truck Toyota Tacoma. I truly believe people at Toyota have gotten everything right the ride is smooth with SR5 model and the price is right for all levels of pickup who don’t need additional options which I love. So far with 5’ of bed it should work out for me and family using it. It is comfortable drive that completed my everyday commute and things around the house and other projects that needed to be done. Having 2 children it is a plus with 4 doors on the SR5 model. It is like everything we wanted in a midsize pickup truck. For me and my family use for everyday life. I highly recommend Toyota Tacoma it is very expensive but in the long run it is worth every penny….
