I purchased a 2018 GTR premium, love the car,BUT the seats are bad I’m 5’ 10 and 230 and I don’t even remotely fit in them you would need to be about 180 to be comfortable,the turbo lag is horrible and when it comes time to replace the brakes,Nissan quoted me $9300 plus tax for steel brakes! The car is a lot of fun but do some research before buying,the value of the car is great they keep going up in price.I’ve now tuned the car,new brakes new tires complete exhaust system and the car is now really fun to drive! Modifications are expensive but worth it

This car is amazing, always getting some recognition by other motorists. Only cons for this car is, parts are expensive such as brakes like rotor and pads. Does not have a spare tires so it uses run flat tires which expensive also. Something you can expect for a 100k sports car. Doing maintenance should be done by you or else you going to be spending a lot of money on a dealership or auto shop. And for the pros I only have one word “ Amazing”.

I have been left speechless by the services provided by MotorCar Classics. I had called their office and was so lucky to be connected to Craig. The original conversation started with info on a car they had recently sold. We talked for a good 20-30 minutes and I can tell Craig was full of enthusiasm and a passion for cars. One conversation led to another and he taught me how consignment works. I had sold 4 jeeps prior on my own and didn't even know consignment to sell a car was a thing. Simply the best car if ever owned. Thank God I was fortunate enough to have owned a few nice cars in my lifetime which were a CBA GT-R, 997.1 GT3RS, Ferrari 360, Ferrari 430, F80 M3, S2000, 911 Turbo S and a few more to mention. By far the 2014 GT-R checks all the boxes on my list I terms of power, looks, rarity, space, technology and build quality. I know some people may not agree with me on this and may say that the car is “lacking soul” but obviously they haven’t own a GTR before. I’m not looking for debate but just giving my honest opinion.

As a proud customer of BAS, I am extremely delighted to disclose my positive experience to all customers who appreciate quality service. When I asked why, the answer was: " What was done, only required a nominal charge", and as a customer, that charge was fully discounted. Great car for long trips or just cruising around town. Bigger and more roomy than most sports car. A lot of trunk space. Oh and it’s super fast.

The good. - Great sports car! - Holds its value (Avrg. 5yr. old GTR w/20k mi. ~$70K) - Amazing engine and trannie "quality". -- Stock can roughly yield 485hp to the ground -- FBO/e85 can get you north of 600hp/600tq -- Stock engine/trannie can only handle 600hp/600tq -- Most tuners will limit the tune, unless internals are upgraded - Ride is as smooth as any other serious sport car (tight suspension) The Bad and the Ugly - Outdated, 12yr old technology all around -- DCT gear change is considered laggy using today's standards -- Noisy DCT, more than normal -- Break rotors tend to crack, just like the sides on the leather seats - $100K+ car with a budget customer service -- Nissan is a budget car company, so don't expect BMW level service -- Nissan experience (all the used car sales tactics in the book) -- Nissan managers will "typically" use the GTR as their toy car and try to sell it to you like new with miles -- Fluid changes are better done by you or someone you trust Recommendation: - Buy a used, low miles GTR with good history (may save $30K) - Or buy a heavily discounted new GTRs - If you modify it, you may risk voiding warranty if its found tune related; mod it once warr. is expired.

It was 10 am on a Thursday. I drove to the test track in my A6. Pretty average Thursday morning. Overcast. About 75 degrees. However, my day was about to be a lot more than average. Why? I was testing the 2018 Nissan GT-R Nismo. I pulled up at the track, and got out of my car and stepped into the GT-R. I started it up, and was greeted by a low rumble from the engine, and an array of lights from the dash. I pulled out onto the track, and opened up the taps. I watched as the car climbed from 30, to 40, to 45, to 55, and finally to 60. All in a couple of seconds. The car felt on edge, as if it could snap at any second. The chassis felt like it was made from pure telepathy. It was brilliant. A few laps later, I was completely in love. I spent the whole day zooming around. I even took it for a little in-town driving. However, the Nissan wasn't as enjoyable in town due to street lights, stop signs, and slow drivers. As the day neared its end, I had come to a conclusion. I had to get one for myself. 600hp, lots of torque, endless amounts of styling, and loads and loads of fun all for 175,490 quid. Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

This car will out perform many car cost twice the money. It is reliable and many of the maintenance can be done yourself. Because it is a Nissan you fine parts in your local auto parts store, ext, a oil filter can be found and you buy bigger oil filter ( more filtration). this car is also the best sleeper-car and only the true motor head knows you have a super car.

This car is a performance oriented machine. It's loud and clunky but a blast to drive. It's like a dysfunctional girl/boyfriend - and you just can't say no.
