I'm original owner sence 2018 when I purchased tge 2019 rebel, crew cab, 4wd 5.7 hemi. I now have 35k miles and have to say this truck has been the best truck I've ever owned. I've owned several in 45 years but this is my retirement best truck. The ride is phenomenal on road and off road. Plenty of HP, pulls well and most reliable. The stock tires duratrac by goodyear make a good ride but not as good in wet roads. Leather interior, heated auto seats, large GPS screen are a good touch by dodge. I've been tough on the factory coated bed liner and no ware showing. It's a tough fun to drive truck.

I have to be honest. I had lost all hope in dealerships with my experience with Lonestar Dodge. They really messed my vehicle up, I was able to prove it was them, still did nothing to make it right. I bought a Traverse back in December from Vara and I was extremely impressed with their service from beginning to end. Recently, I had to take it in to get its first oil change and service it needed, and the way Johnny Perez treated me and my vehicle was top notch. It really restored my faith with big name dealerships. He walked me through step-by-step, showed me everything they would be doing when the vehicle was finished, showed me what they did. There were no surprises, no hidden charges. In fact, I paid nothing for everything they did to my vehicle, that first time as it was all complimentary. Francisco, my salesman even came to check on me while I was there to make sure I got my plates went and put them on for me...Bottom line is, if you're not purchasing your vehicle service senior vehicle from vara, you're missing out. Super dependable. I paid 26.4k cash 2 years ago for mine is as good as my old 1979 custom100 Ranger. Power is excellent too 5.7 495hp 8 speed automatic with selectable gears on the steering wheel. 190k miles still drives like new.

This is my 3rd Ram 1500. I have had 2008, 2013, and now a 2019. All great looking strong running trucks with the 5.7 HEMI. I’ve never had the HEMI tick. Lots of power. Modifications, black wheels, wider more agressive tires, 2” leveling kit, spray in bed liner. Can’t say enough. Love these trucks and would recommend to anyone.

This has been the most wonderful truck. On the frwy when it shifted to the lower cylinder usage, it was so quiet and gas efficient. Johns Trim Shop topped off with a $2500 package. I hate to say goodbye but am retiring.

This was my first time buying a car out of state and John Reyes made it as smooth as possible. He was always answering my (many) questions in a very timely manner and there were no hidden costs or fees. I had an issue with the shipping company, but that is a 3rd party which shipped my car from Texas to California so that is not his fault. He also said I would not need to go to the DMV, but that was not quite true (I had to go once for a VIN verification appointment). Assuming he did not know that, I would say this was an overall good buying experience, especially for my first out of state purchase. Overall would recommend (again, my experience was completely online (out of state), John seems like a very nice guy and will answer all of your questions and give you a no-BS out the door price. I have owned many trucks, Chevy, Ford and Ram, Ram is outstanding on performance and reliability. I use these trucks for work, heavy loads including excavation equipment, The high output diesel provides great power. Out performs Ford and Chevy hands down. My only complaint is cheap plastic interior parts that show wear easy. Every Ram over the years has been the same cheap plastic parts. Door panels and such mar and scratch easy from normal wear and tear. My opinion is Ram builds a real workhorse. In the past there were a lot of transmission issues, I believe they have resolved those past issues Cummins power is unbeatable and for years the trans just could not handle the power. I have noticed a big difference on the 2024 model, the trans seems to shift better and does not overheat under heavy load. There is a lot of hype about who builds the best truck, and most of that is sales driven commercials. So I give Ram a 9 out of 10 rating totally based on ownership satisfaction, performance, and long term cost of maintaining the truck.

I purchased a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesmen Quad Cab with the 5.7L Hemi. This is the 3rd Dodge Ram 1500 I’ve owned and this is the first new one I’ve ever purchased. Buying new is a whole new experience. Anyone who says buying new is a bad idea and you should buy a car a couple of years old; has clearly never purchased new. This truck is amazing, we tow the jet skis just fine on the weekends and it’s my grocery getter, 9-5er on the weekdays. It’s my stand down you clown this is my lane and your entry fee is a blinker, I’ve got that Hemi power with an 8 speed transmission to hold it down. It’s my hauling precious cargo, to laying rubber because the wife still digs the burnouts. It’s a 4 door safe zone for the family with a bed full of camping gear or an early morning ride with backpacks and lunches. Either way this trucks never let me down and when they all go electric (because they will one day) I’ll buy one of them too. You can’t go wrong with Hemi powered Ram!

I recently visited Cavender Ford Dealership in search of a new truck. Living in Galveston, TX, I had done a lot of research on the best deals in Houston and nearby cities, and I quickly realized that no one offers deals quite like Cavender. They not only beat the competition on the price of a new truck by a significant margin but also gave me a fair trade-in value for my vehicle. Overall, my experience was somewhat mixed. On the positive side, if you’re looking for an unbeatable deal on a truck, this is definitely the place to go. The sales team, especially Michael McClinton, Noe Aguilera, and JR Ortega, worked closely with me and were instrumental in helping me secure the beautiful truck I had my eye on. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, making me feel like they were genuinely trying to get me the best truck for the best price. Their approach was knowledgeable, friendly, and refreshingly low-pressure, making the entire buying process smooth. However, the dealership fell short when it came to management and after-sales service. Unfortunately, the management team did not uphold the same level of customer service as the sales staff. I encountered a few issues after the purchase, and their response was much less helpful and timely than I had anticipated. It felt like their interest in assisting me dropped off significantly once the sale was complete. Some promises made during the sale weren’t fully honored afterward, which was disappointing. After taking delivery of the truck and returning home, I noticed one of the hubcaps was missing. I contacted the dealership the next morning and provided a photo I had taken while at their location to prove that the hubcap was already missing before I left. Although the sales team was eager to assist, they were unable to get any answers from upper management. Fortunately, I had the picture as proof, so it should have been easy for them to send me a replacement. However, it took nearly a month of countless phone calls, text messages, and even speaking with a manager named Manny, who rushed through our conversation and falsely promised to overnight the missing part, before I finally received it. I bought a brand-new truck, but after noticing the missing part, it felt like I was driving an old truck, and it took away the excitement of having a new vehicle. Management or ownership didn’t acknowledge the issue as significant, nor did they make any effort to address it. They didn’t offer an apology or attempt to make up for the disappointment I felt about losing the excitement of my new truck. In summary, Cavender Ford is an excellent choice if you're after a great deal and a positive buying experience. However, be cautious about after-sales support, management and ownership and make sure to get everything in writing before leaving the dealership, as their management and ownership could definitely improve in this area.

Since buying my 1500 Sierra in November 2021 during the chip shortage from a different dealer 4 hours from my house, I've always taken it to Ancira GMC in Boerne. At 119,000 miles now, it runs great, and I have to give credit to the guys there for being great at what they do.
