2024 Honda Accord Hybrid review
Very nice car. My previous was a 2020 Accord. This hybrid Accord Sport L is way better. Do not get me wrong. The 2020 is a very good car. Someone is quite happy with it, no doubts. I recommend buying a spare. I chose Modern Spare. Spendy. Great quality. Hope I never use it. The spare fits underneath the trunk where the inflator is. Just remove the foam. Comes with everything you need plus a threaded plate to secure it. All fits in and around the spare. Plus, I got jumper cables in there. We think the car is quiet. I notice others think not. Plenty of power. Mileage I have gotten is much better than what it is rated at. Love the paddles. Fake down shifters. Much less use of brakes for lights and stop signs. Planning to keep this car for quite awhile.

2025 Subaru Legacy review
I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.

2022 Subaru Legacy review
from the first day I had it I haven’t had any issues with it as it handles great and gas economy is awesome. I don’t have a negative to write. I drove Lincoln’s for the last 20 or more years and because they stopped making cars and only Crossovers or SVU’s, I searched high and low to find an equivalent car and googled all the options that were a must and the Subaru Legacy Elite came up and my husband and I went to look and drove out with our new car and couldn’t be happier. The ride is comfortable and the car is just great.

2018 Subaru Legacy review
Purchased new in March 2018 Legacy Limited 2.5. Used as main commuting car until late 2023-now has 89000 miles. Commute 84 miles roundtrip at 80-85 mph, very steady and secure and 29-30mpg. Excellent in heavy rain (never driven in snow) we get in Houston. Will keep 4 more years but Subaru discontinued the Legacy so likely another brand if I want a sedan.

2024 Nissan Versa review
I love my 2024 Nissan Versa. I especially like the rear view display, front end assistant and lane assistant. Driving short distance or a drive out of town is very comfortable. The dashboard display allows you to see your miles per gallon and fuel mileage on a full tank of fuel. This is my second Versa and would highly recommend this vehicle.

2024 Kia K5 review
Forward collision is dangerous it slams on the brakes and have you spinning. Roof is too low. Speakers are not good. Exterior falls apart very cheaply made car. Great on gas great body design. Love the synthetic leather & the infotainment screen.

2016 Hyundai SONATA review
This is on a 2004 Sonota that has 191,000 miles. I bought it new and it has never been back to the dealership for a warranty issue. It has 2.7 v-6 and doesn’t use any oil between oil changes. This by far has been the best car I have ever owned. Good gas mileage, I’m 6’3” and has plenty of leg room. Yes I would buy another.

2024 Toyota Corolla review
Mine is an American made LE. It was bought at a time when very few stripped-down models were available. Using Toyota's parts website, I paid about 1/3 the price for options like the bumper protector, door edge guards, door trim, mud guards and all weather mats. True, it's got cheap materials and Toyota skipped even putting an engine cover to quiet it up (although, in Southern California, the engine cover can retain heat that's not as beneficial as it would be in a place further north). Regularly reaches 37 MPG combined short trips and 20-mile commutes. Longer freeway drives easily goes over 42 MPG. One of the most surprising things about this car is the OEM tires. They are solid, they maintain their air pressure over many months, unlike my friends' who also have bought new Toyotas and half much less consistent tires. The car is regularly parked outside with sun exposure and the exterior seems to hold up okay after 2 years. I did do a break-in oil change at 500 miles and I do oil changes at 5,000 miles. I need this car to last me a long time and the Toyota recommended service intervals will not lead to longevity. There are many Toyota experts who encourage even shorter intervals between oil changes based on Southern California severe driving standards. Too much traffic is considered severe driving. Something else, if this car were bought 55 miles South, in Mexico, the grade of oil would be very different. In America, 0W-8 is the official oil viscosity. In Tijuana, Baja California, 0W-20 is recommended and 5W-30 is even acceptable further south... On Toyota's own documentation! For the summer oil, I have 0W-16 put in it. The car is near the ocean and never has been exposed to anything near freezing temperatures. My friend helps me maintain the car and he gets a lot of information from a Toyota Master diagnostic technician on YouTube, "A Car Care Nut." As a final note, the optical systems that are used for safety for Toyotas have a service memo stating that their safety systems are only guaranteed if windshield replacements are done with Toyota glass and the devices calibrated with Toyota software. In car insurance, you have to show this information to your insurance company for them to approve the OEM glass and Toyota body shop work. The windshield and calibration easily runs over $2,000. I have seen those windshield companies claim that they calibrate the safety system only for it not to work in a future accident. Be your own best advocate and insist on Toyota glass and calibration. By the way, we also looked at Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi. The transmissions on the Nissan and the Mitsubishi are garbage, the Honda has so many systems to save fuel that negatively affect the engine, Toyota's reliability is often because they choose not to do risky fuel saving software settings.

2009 Volkswagen CC review
Allow me to start out by saying I LOVE MY BABY (my 2009 VW cc)! I bought my CC in 2018 from a car lot. It has black exterior and black and light tan interior! She's a beautiful sight to see. I can't see why the previous owner got rid of it. I am the second owner and the Carfax checked out perfect. It drives like a new vehicle. Here's how everything took place. My daughter and I went shopping for me a vehicle. We looked and test droved many vehicles but nothing was catching my eyes neither was I feeling the vehicles. Well, we had decided that we were done looking for the day and we'll go looking again tomorrow. But as we were getting ready to leave my daughter saw this car hidden in the cut as if they were trying to hide it. My daughter loudly said mom, look at that car over there how do you like it? I said OMG, it looks beautiful from here. So we got closer to the vehicle and it was history from that point on. I felt in love with it. But I had to make sure there wasn't any major issues with the vehicle. I test drove I test drove and I test drove it, I inspected it, inspected it and inspected it (lol 😂). I never owned a foreign car before. Before we started test driving the vehicle I asked the salesman if he can put more gas in the vehicle because we're gonna go for a long test drive (I was always told that they keep a small amount of gas in the vehicle to prevent the customers from wanting to test drive longer). I asked him why was the car hidden away? He said that a man wanted to purchase it but he hasn't came to do so yet. While I was doing the paperwork on the vehicle the man and his wife showed up to purchase the vehicle. They had some words with each other and I remember the salesman telling him " I waited for you to show up even tried to hide the car so no one could see it but you never showed up at the time you said you would so I had to sell it". Now back to my story. My CC was and still ranks at a top 10 from the inside and outside. It had over 100,000 miles and it runs like a champ. I did the normal things to it like changed the oil, gave it a tune-up. I did have an issue with the carbon buildup of which when I took it to Volkswagen they said it would be a 3,000 job. I said are you crazy and the devil is a lie😂😂 I did some research on YouTube and discovered that I could put this stuff (I can't remember the name of the stuff I used) in the gas tank and the line to blow it out and it WORKED (cost a little over 10.00 dollars for a can). I had to replace a small hose leading to the radiator because it was brittle and it callapsed. I also had to replace the oil sensor which was a few dollars (VW said they would replace it for hundreds of dollars but I did it myself (very easy to do). I also had to have a bulb to one of the headlights replaced (I went on and let a shop do it for 40.00, VW said it would be over 100.00). Those are the only issues I've had with my beautiful CC. I get a lot of compliments from people all the time. People have even taken pictures of my CC. She's beautiful I tell you. People will often ask me, what kind of car is this I've never seen anything like it before, it is beautiful? When I tell them it's a 2009 they just cannot believe it. I have to admit, I ran across an amazing deal when I purchased my cc. I believe that the previous only used it to go on road trips alone because the back seats and the passenger seat looks like they've never been sat it at all. I keeps it very clean. When people opens the door to get in they say WOW this is a beautiful clean car on the inside and the outside. My CC is loaded with everything and I'm constantly learning more and more features about it. Yes I have the camera on the back. This is the best car I've ever own and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Oh, by the way she (NettyB my car) looks even more glamorous with her eyelashes. Yes you heard correctly, she wears eyelashes 😂😂.(eyelashes for cars). I will have to invest in getting some more tires in about another year. I love the fact that I don't have to pay to have my vehicle washed anymore because being a VW owner I get free carwash service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 2009 VOLKSWAGEN CC TO EVERYONE!!! Make sure you get a good one. Oh, did I mentioned that I work on cars myself? That's why I was able to do a good drive testing and inspection of the vehicle and the work that needed to be done. 2018 Chevrolet Malibu review
This Malibu 1.5 handles better than any car I've ever have even when in heavy rain. The turbo engine takes off like a rocket to get away from terrible drivers on toll roads. I have extra trunk capacity, leg room, super comfortable. The batteries need to be replaced about every 3 years though. There was a recall on the fuel injection modulator for this year. I had to order the replacement part from a private part store due to a shortage of that replacement part. The dealership installed it for me since they had no part to offer. I have had no other problems with this car, very low maintenance required. It is absolutely beautiful, fantastic, and fun to drive!

2023 Honda Accord Hybrid review
We've been buying V6 Accords for years now. This one is a totally different beast, unlike the previous V6, which were powerful, but "nervous", this car is so SMOOTH, elegantly gliding along, VERY MUCH LIKE AN EV. Yet when I need power — it delivers. The MPG is more than DOUBLE of what we've been used to. I tested a few hybrid sedans, and the Accord was the smoothest, you can't feel it switching from hybrid to Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), as some others do. Definitely a great buy!

I can't recommend them enough!
2023 Kia Forte review
Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

2020 Genesis G90 review
I bought my G90 Ultimate AWD new about four years ago and have loved it ever since. It is comfortable and many have mistaken it for a Bentley. I've driven newer G90s which do not compare to the 2020 model. I will never part with this vehicle until it falls apart which will probably be years from now as I've never had a maintenance problem.
