2016 Mazda CX-5 review
Whether you’re an enthusiast or not, you will enjoy this thing until the wheels fall off. Now, if you’re an enthusiast, or just someone who loves the feel of the road underneath you but needs something fairly practical? This is the car for you. With ample power, and steering feel that would put some sports cars to shame, you will feel confident, and often joyous when behind the wheel of the CX-5, especially with the Manual version that came in the “Sport” trim! Although that engine is suggested to be fairly gutless. However, if you prefer the automatic versions with the larger engine, like in my Grand Touring trim, you will absolutely be able to enjoy the road, regardless of the local speed limit. The CX-5 may not be the fastest car in its class, but it surely is the most fun, and the best value among its competitors.. but it’s mainly just fun. I recently got my CX-5 at my local dealer, and it has done nothing but get me to work when I want it to, taken me on small trips to wherever I want, and without any real complaints. Only times it gets annoyed with me is if I need to pass anybody at highway, but that’s what makes it so much fun to live with in my opinion, especially with the little rev-happy 4-pot motors that it can come with. In conclusion, if you want a sub-compact crossover.. but also want the feel of Mazda’s own roadster? Get the CX-5. It will bring you as many smiles per gallon as you need it to.

2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class review

2025 Ford F-150 review
I purchased a new 2025 XLT powerboost about a month ago. Got around 1500 miles on it. The overall performance of the truck is awesome. Its a good looking truck. I have added tint windows, hard bed cover and I am getting the upgraded leather package for it as well. The gas mileage is great and with hybrid it gets even better. The handling is good. The stop & go is also great. I went from a 2020 Nissan Titan to this F150 and must say I am impressed overall with the truck. I happy about the warranty that ford provided and look to maybe get the extended warranty when the time comes.

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. Very happy with this 2024

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
Extremely pleased with the Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. Very comfortable on long drives. Everything in the cabin is convenient and easy to use. Averaged 29.5 mpg on our last trip. The interior is stylish as well as the exterior looking quite sporty.

2019 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I purchased a new 2019 SLT with the X1 package. It has the Red Quartz Tintcoat paint. I usually never leave reviews, but honestly this is the most comfortable, nicest loking truck I've owned , and I've ownwd alot of them. The only issues I've had was the brake software was flawed, took it to the dealer on recall and they installed a new software patch, Other then that I love the styling, performance and the interior is very nice. No regrets

2023 Toyota Tacoma review
A great factory set up to start modifications. Upgrade OTT tune to rid gear hunting, seat jackers for better ride comfort. Add a leaf or suspension helper in rear to plant rear tires, upgrade front and rear shocks. Front factory springs pair perfectly with bilstein 5100s for better offroad handling.

Making a decision to spend that kind of money is tough enough. I had done a great deal of research beforehand and knew what I felt comfortable with, and Amir respected that rather than trying to convince me I needed something different. It was refreshing to work with someone who made the experience feel comfortable instead of pressured. It was a pleasure working with Amir, and I would definitely recommend him!
2023 Toyota Camry review
I purchased 2018 White Camry SE with 8-speed transmission, with 36,000 miles on in May 2019. Now has 163,000 miles on it and still runs perfect. Everyone thinks it has turbo in it and that is because I use gear shift of course love the 8- speed transmission. Have no problems passing people. When I use cruise control at 69 mph have got around 41-43 mpg. Only issue had with my car was first year was a vacuum line staying open at times and it caused my car use more gas. Noticed the rpm guage wasn't dropping at times it was staying around 2 rpm instead dropping.. Took it to the dealership and that was the issue. Since then My car hasn't failed me at all!! Had for almost 6 yrs now and still love it!! I have been looking at getting Toyota Rava 4 but I keep going back to the 2021-2023 Toyota Camry SE of course White which to me is the prettiest and sharpest looking one. This is becaue I like to have little suv love have Tacome but I be looking at Camry SE. Lol.. This is a Nice looking , riding and very dependable car!! Thank You For My Toyota!!

2022 RAM 2500 review
We wound up taking our 22 ram 2500 cummins over Sonora Pass due to a computer routing error(no signs either). This was while hauling a 13,000lb. 5th wheel. Tranny got hot pulling up the east side but cooled right back down after 15 minute stop.. Brakes overheated coming down west side but able to get stopped and let them cool for 45 minutes. we made it using 4 low. do not recommend trying this but the truck performed amazingly.... wont buy another brand after this adventure. Sonora Pass is a 26% grade up and down btw

Excellent gas mileage! The 2025 Toyota Camry LE model is a very smooth ride. Sporty get up and go and very agile. The driver's seat is difficult to find the best comfort for long drives. Storage space is minimal, but I found add-ons that were a perfect fit. Bottom line.... a car you can trust that pays itself off at the pump!

2022 RAM 1500 review
Purchased in 2023, new. Had to go back one year to find one without e-torque. Test drove & didn't like it. Right now I have 30,000 trouble free miles on it. I just hope my luck with that last. I have been a GM owner all my life, with two Fords threw in which didn't impress mr at all. I was dissatisfied with my 2010 GMC so I decided to try Ram. I bought a 2017 Bighorn with the 3.6 V6 & was totally happy. 70,000 trouble free miles. I planned on keeping that truck much longer, but, at my age, decided to give it one more shot, so i bought the 2022 with the 5.7 V8. Didn't need the xtra power but decided I'd go for broke. I'm 82, so I'm planning this to be my last truck. I have owned pickups only since 1967, never had any use for a car.

2021 Ford F-150 review
The 3.3 engine is very reliable and a simple V6 My truck is geared 3:73 which I can still average 24 mpg hiway and sometimes I see 25. I believe the Motorcraft 5W20 is the best option for the engine in the retail shelf market. It outperforms in every category compared to the big brands available. 7500 miles is easily obtained without having consumption issues. For the person who isn’t in need of high hp and wants a truck for long term ownership I would recommend getting the 3.3 engine.

2014 Subaru Forester review
I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

2015 Nissan Rogue review
Nissan ROGUE S trim, no sunroof, FWD. 14/15 year model, 7 seater. So, you are here because you are about to buy one and mix of 1 star to 5 star reviews makes you nervous. Don’t be nervous , just don’t, because you’re about to buy the best SUV on the market for that years and read: Here is how to buy it and not regret about purchasing it: Mainly because of ZERO GRAVITY SEATS. ITS PURE MAGIC!!! Short story first: We bought it used with around 60.000 miles back in 2019. At that time I was a mechanic but not yet ASE certified lol. So I was very nervous about our purchase - all my bank money was about to be gone for the car - didn’t use bank credit. AND I STARTED SEARCHING, SEARCHING AND SEARCHING AGAIN. Let me share my experience: I knew that the main problem was CVT. How to verify that it’s good before purchasing the car? BYU an OBD dongle VEEPEAK as example (not a Bluedriver!) Aquire an Android phone or tablet. Download CVT50 and pay the Full version $4.99 as of 2026 (later in your mind will sound like “FREE 99” lol) YouTube how to use it. Install dongle to desired car, connect to your android (no iOS arrrrr), start the car. Find deterioration counter in app by clicking “read CVT” IFyou see something above 1500 - JUST RUN. It’s that easy. Actually app shows red flag and sign “Transmission failure” if it’s above 3000. Once you acquire the car - do whole transmission fluid change with filters replacement and wiping bottom pan inside (flush if you want, but better not to… Actually you can do it by yourself within 2-3 hours at your driveway. Make sure: USE ONLY AND ONLY OEM NS-3 FLUID AND OEM FILTERS there is 2 of them in the transmission. When you will install the transmission oil pan back - DO NOT OVERTORQUE THOSE BOLTS!!! We got lucky and it was only around 90 on ours. So technically in supreme condition. So far after 6 years being lucky 3rd owner: 1. AC fan replaced by myself with used. 2. Major leak inside the driver side from rain - known recall was honored by Nissan thanks to JAMES PUGH - GOD BLESS HIM!!! at Nissan global HQ and fixed at/by local Nisan dealership. 3. Tailgate bulbs replaced. This is it. Oh forgot OEM oil filters and Royal Purple only 0w-20 every 5k miles. Moments later, Jonathan Denanda came to our assistance and patiently walked us through the process. In no time he linked our phone to the rental car system and explained various functions so we could maximize our listening experience. Jonathan was patient, courteous and very knowledgeable and we were very grateful for his expertise. It made our four hour drive to several Utah state parks much more enjoyable having our curated "soundtrack" to go along with the magnificent scenery. 2023 Toyota Tacoma review
I’ve owned Toyota’s for over 20 years and have not been disappointed. My 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 keeps that tradition. I bought the 23 model year for the naturally aspirated V6 engine given that in 24 the model went to a 4 cylinder turbo. I’ve only had it for a month but love everything about it. The build quality is true to Toyota and the ride is comfortable. I’m very happy with my purchase.

2003 Dodge Ram 2500 review
I purchased my truck new on Dec 31, 2002. It is an 03 crew cab, short box, Cummins HO, 6 speed manual. I still own it today with 315,000 miles very few repairs, oil change every 5K, 3 front end rebuilds, one water pump, a fan clutch, a new drivers seat pad and bottom cover, and a steering gear box. Surprisingly enough, I still have factory injectors. Absolutely the best truck I have ever owned BY FAR. Still gets up to 27 MPG and can pull just about anything you hook onto it. still looks new inside and out. I recently converted it to a dually to make it even more stable pulling my fifth wheel. Seems to be worth more today than what I paid for it 20 years ago.

2025 Lexus GX 550 review
Nicely designed, very comfortable, Luxury plus model has fantastic features. Some plastic interiors could be improved. Solid in nature, great visibility from inside, panoramic roof is very nice. The fact that Lexus has really designed it to fit inside a standard US garage is great!. Love the coolbox. Also the rear glass door opening is a big hit. '3rd row going under ground' without sacrificing space for spare tire is excellent. More inside storage space world be a plus
