2025 Subaru Outback review
I have had big trucks and SUV I now have a 2025 Outback wilderness, I had to drive this outback a while to get use to it, it was hard for me to get comfortable in this outback because it sat so low, for 60 years I had a vehicle sat up high and little more room in the front seat area,I got use to it, especially at the gas station with mpg I am getting , I am getting really right around 24 to 25 Mpg I am happy.Now that I have driven this outback for about 2 months I am happy, and in the Outback Wilderness it has the best AWD on the market not 4 wheel drive, never never let anybody tell you it is the same as 4 wheel drive If they do leave the dealership on the spot. I am happy I would buy again as long the price is 40k Or less if the price crosses the 45 k I would have gotten a Toyota 4 runner, not the 2025 models but the 2024 or 2023, remember these models are around 17 mpg with 23 gallon tanks with about 275 to 300 miles per tank

2022 Subaru Outback review
I purchased my Outback Premium in 2022 new. Liked the color. silver, and didn't want moonroof or a lot of extras that could break. Bad battery experience has really disappointed our experience although the cars performance and comfort has not.

2025 Subaru Outback review
An excellent vehicle for the bat s..t crazy fast urban interstates that are all cracked and busted that I commute daily - soaks up road imperfections very well - excellent visibility quality fit and finish . surprisingly well equipped - fantastic safety + features and my first car with turning headlights and water proof seats- cool machine all around. highly recommend.

Tried to work a deal over the phone. Gentleman was nice, but really didn't want to deal. Wanted me to drive 2.5 hours to talk to him. Two days later they dropped the price of the Highlander when they wouldn't budge when I spoke with him. When he called me back the next day after speaking with him at first, I mentioned I was looking (not anywhere near buying) at another vehicle at another dealership closer to me. At that point he ended the call and I haven't heard back from him. Two weeks later and the vehicle is still on the lot or at least still on Cars.com. I thought about calling back, but I have lost interest in doing the dance. Again, nice guy, but just give me the bottom line and let's work a deal before I have to drive hours to get to see the car in person. I think he was held back by his sales manager from budging on any deal.

Best vehicle I have ever owned. Dependable, safe, comfortable ride, great fit & finish and responsive and overall excellent quality. No problems in 48,000 miles.

2021 Subaru Outback review
So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

Several people assisted me and answered all of my questions, they were patient and cordial. Quinton Andrus and a new employee(with a name that I wish I remembered) Showed me several SUVs and let me drive one. Noel Harthcock offered me a fair trade on my Jeep and was extremely helpful in finalizing the purchase of the Sorento. I got a great bargain. It was a great experience. 2017 Subaru Outback review
I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

2022 Subaru Outback review
Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

2020 Subaru Outback review
I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

2021 Subaru Outback review
I like mostly everything about my2021 Outback Limited XT. I hate the navigation system or the infotainment system as it is called. I have had it to the dealership 4 times in 3 years because the system is not compatible with my iPhone. Taking it in next week for a new radio. The navigation system stops working just when you need it most. Sometimes it flashes "Stay Alert" when you are looking straight ahead but if you turn the car off and restart, it goes away. Too bad Subaru doesn't make their own radio systems.

Loved the vehicle. not so much the financing. I was told I had to purchase certain extras to receive a lower interest rate. After all was said and done I called the company actually financing my vehicle and they informed me that was not true at all. Called the person who did my loan at Crain ( I will not mention their name out of respect) and was told I could cancel but to keep my interest to wait 3 months. Again another line of bologna. Drove back to Crain ( 3rd 140 mile round trip) spoke to a very understanding Ms. Bradley in customer relations who helped rectify the situation. Will I do business with them again? More than likely because as I said almost everyone there was great to deal with and my daughter really likes the Tucson and the actual pricing was great--- without the additional warranties another 5100.00!

2026 Subaru Outback review
I had some weird requirements. I bought a full-sized spare exactly like the other wheels/tires on the car so I wanted it to fit in the wheel well. It did that. I also wanted a car that had a very convenient way of turning off the auto on/off feature where the car's engine turns off when you come to a light. I also wanted AWD. The cabin is quieter than my previous car so that's also a plus. The seats are very comfortable. The only small negative is that the map lights are very weak. I will have them replaced with LED bulbs at the car's first oil change at 3000 miiles.

2026 Subaru Outback review
I love Subaru automobiles. I usually buy Forresters, I trade up every 3 years. My only complaint with the Forrester is the cabin noise is loud. When I went to the dealership I saw a different looking Subaru. It was the 2026 Outback which had been redesigned and looked like a SUV not a station wagon. I drove it and boom, problem solved. The outside noise was not loud at all. It had the same great features, plus more than my Forrester had. I fell in love! So let me tell you about this whole car-buying adventure... it started with me innocently "just looking." You know how that goes. I hopped on Edmunds, then slid over to the dealership website, and there it was... the Subaru Crosstrek. Blue. Not just any blue--that blue. The kind that makes you start rearranging your budget and your life decisions at the same time. Of course, I did what any reasonable person does--I went and had a little chat with ChatGPT, plugging in numbers like I suddenly had a finance degree. Credit score, trade-in, price... the whole works. Meanwhile, a salesman named Kevin texts me, asks what I want, gets my payoff, and says he'll get back to me the next day. Well... "the next day" gave me plenty of time to panic. After thinking it over (and probably overthinking it just a little), we convinced ourselves, "Yeah... we probably can't afford that Crosstrek." So I text Kevin and basically say, "Never mind, false alarm, ignore my dreams." ONE HOUR later... Kevin calls. This man comes back with numbers. Real numbers. Good numbers. "Wait a second... those are our numbers." And then he drops the kicker--it's for the SAME blue Crosstrek I had my heart set on. Y'all... we bought the car. For a better deal than we ever expected. And Kevin? That man didn't just sell a car--he showed up, followed through, and treated us like we mattered. In a world where you expect a sales pitch, he gave us honesty, patience, and somehow... our blue Crosstrek. Moral of the story: sometimes you say "never mind," and God (and Kevin) say, "oh no you don't."
2024 Subaru Outback review
This is the eleventh Subaru I have owned, the third outback; the Outback wilderness is by far the best performer of all of the others I have had. I have been happy with subarus from the first one I bought a 1978 Brat; sure wish i still had it.
