I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

This car is perfect for me. It reminds me a lot of my 2002 Forester which I liked very much, but with all the new technology and a lot more pep. It also rides a lot smoother. It just so happens to be one inch longer than my Forester. So, the visibility and spacing is exactly what I want. The variable cruise control and lane control virtually drive the car by itself. I no longer get stressed driving in rush hour traffic and I no longer get tired during long drives. The ground clearance and all wheel drive make it easier to drive in snow. It's the perfect car for anyone, not just an old guy like me.

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

This car drives very well especially in wintery conditions. The car also has blue tooth which can connect a phone or mp3 player for playing music.

My Service Advisor (Matt) is terrific. From listening at the outset for what I want to have done and continuing through with upcoming car maintenance needs while keeping me informed during service. I can't ask for more. Granted, this may be looked upon as standard operating procedure, however as I am approaching a one year anniversary of choosing Subaru of Dayton, I couldn't be happier.

My previous car became a money pit with multiple repairs needed, all costing me thousands of dollars to do repairs. It was items that were not covered under my maintenance plan. I decided to trade it in for a new vehicle. It’s nice to drive a car that can almost drive itself on the road.

In the 20 plus year I have been a customer of Germain Ford in Beavercreek, I have never had a bad experience either purchasing a vehicle or having them serviced and maintained in their maintenance facility. The entire staff from salesmen, service techs, parts managers and clerical staff are all first rate. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Practical. We love our 2020 Ascent Limited and we live in the south. We have a large family and this is great while the kids are small. Once more than three are teenagers, we'll definitely need a larger vehicle that provides more leg room if you're sitting on the back row. Love the convenience and ease of how the rear seats fold forward when I'm shopping and/or loading up from the back. The 10 year 100k mile warranty was reasonably priced at less than $2.5k. Haven't had to use it yet (knock on wood). Again, it's practical so the seats aren't as plush as premium vehicles but they're nice and comfortable. This pretty much describes the interior. The electronics are comparable to most vehicles. It has everything you need but nothing over the top. (Again, practical.) Greatly appreciate the cabin air filter and ease of changing it. I like smelling a fresh interior all the time. We're in the south where it's high in pollen, so the HEPA cabin filter is perfect. In my opinion the Ascent is a great mid-size SUV option that looks nice, is practical and has that Subaru reliability.

I would like to give my review for Jacob Jones, he was so nice and informative , very polite and helpful. I liked that he was not pushy to make a choice and let me take my time, I know if I need help for anything he will do his best to help me. Very happy with my choice and so glad he was my salesman. Everyone at the dealership was very nice and friendly.

I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

I have been driving my 2025 Subaru Outback Premium, and it?s about to reach 100 miles. I really like this car?it drives very quietly and smoothly, the seats are comfortable, and the large infotainment screen is both stylish and practical. The sound quality when playing music is also great. Everything is excellent. Its acceleration is not as good as my old Mazda, but it?s more than enough for highway driving, so it doesn?t affect me at all. Since it has a CVT transmission and is a brand-new car, I haven?t dared to drive it aggressively, which might also be a factor. Of course, it?s not perfect. There are some settings that I don?t quite understand. For example, when I close all the doors and walk away with the key, the car does not automatically lock, nor do the windows close automatically. I have to go back and touch the sensor area on the door handle to lock the vehicle. I understand that this might be due to certain regulations, but it feels quite risky. This means that if I forget to perform this step, anyone could enter the car. Maybe there is a way to modify this setting, and I will check the manual to figure it out. Additionally, I found that my car doesn?t remember the auto start-stop function?s setting. Every time I start the vehicle, it defaults to enabling auto start-stop. I went into the vehicle settings and turned it off, but after restarting the car, it comes back on, which is frustrating. Other than that, everything is great?this is a good car. After a lot of time and research we started our journey with a new Subaru Ascent. We then test drove 4 other vehicles and I didn't have the same feeling as I did in the Ascent. We originally were looking at a 2025; however, there was a beautiful new 2024 Subaru Ascent and that was the one! There is more room, I like the head space since we have some taller people in the family. We don't really use the third row, but it has come in handy and I am pleased with that. We keep it down a lot. As far as driving this vehicle, I am very comfortable and happy with this. You get a smooth ride with it and the engine has pick up when needed. This is my first keyless car; however, we had to have the remote start, we got spoiled. With that we needed to subscribe to Subaru and it was a small fee for 5 years, but there is a lot you can do on your phone. I like the screen and how well you can see while in reverse. I like the placement of the screen. I'm 5'2" and I can handle this vehicle and I am confident. Being short I liked that I can almost "kiss" the front and I am not tight and I can see clearly. My husband is taller and you have 2 presets for the driver's seat. One thing is that they offer a "refresher" type appointment and we went. It was one person who took us through our vehicle and the features and any questions that we had were answered. Had the questions been more important, I would have called his number ahead of time.

2020 Subaru Accent met all my needs and dreams. Very smooth, sleek interior, full moon roof, interior exterior lighting is beautiful. Classy luxury SUV able to tow 5k lbs, turbo engine and many safety features .

It's a great car. Sports car with 4 doors, very maneuverable despite of the AWD. Fun in the mountains and the kids love it. Get the manual drive.

Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

About 1300 miles into a new 2023 WRX Premium. Car is a blast to drive and mine also has the Harmon Kardon sound system upgrade (very nice audio). Not as creature comfortable as my past BMWs but definitely comfortable. Premium only came with cloth seats so added seat covers. MT is the only way to go! An honest fun to drive car at a reasonable price.

I love this car! I had an outback previously, and knew i wanted another suburu. It's the perfect size for me! My kids are older, and I don't have to lug sports equipment and kids around anymore. The outback was great for that! It's not too small, and not too big. It's perfect!

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

Everyone was friendly & helpful. I had a recall & the service was quick. I received an email on 8/26 suggesting that I was due for my first service. I requested that also. All the was done was the fluids were checked. I was told that oil couldn’t be changed until I the life was below 30% and my car is at 50%. I drive 1 & 1/2 hours for my appointments and they only checked the fluids. On my invoice it said to schedule my next service at 10,000 miles. When I called back & explained my mileage was at 9938 I was told they couldn’t do anything. Very disappointing!!! I’m a senior citizen & thought they should have checked my tires, pressure & such as was described in the email.

I own several American cars in the past and I'll never buy another American car again after buying this Subaru. I feel a lot safer and a lot more comfortable in the Subaru Crosstrek than I ever felt in any American car built that I ever drove
