2020 Subaru Impreza review
First things first... I view any car as a necessary evil.... I view them as something to get stuff from point A to point B. If I had My druthers I'd bicycle everywere but, since I live in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and as such we get a lot of snow and I can't. The Impreza fits the bill of what I need in a car. I have driven many cars in all kinds of conditions, the Impreza has never let me down. I'll admit it won't win most drag races but if you're looking for safety and reliability look no further. Mine is a lease and is the base model, but is chock full of great and useful features such as lane assist, hazard warning and my favorite adaptive cruise control (which brakes for you as the car in front of you slows down.) I had the first iteration of the Impreza in the nineties and that was good... This is awesome. Before I leased the Impreza I did due diligence by test driving Honda, Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota... The Impreza had most of the features I wanted at the price point that I wanted... Also the only manufacturer that offered AWD on the base model.

2025 Subaru Legacy review
Bought the Legacy Touring XT model. Previously owned Lexus and Infinitis, and this is a good or better than those cars. Smooth handling and responsive engine/ride. Dashboard is easier to use than expected. Nice connection to Airplay. Speakers are great. Safety systems are very good. Leather is luxurious. I would never have selected this car if I didn't already own a Forrester, which is also well built. I feel like I bought a luxury car for a 15K discount if not more

2018 Subaru Legacy review
Purchased new in March 2018 Legacy Limited 2.5. Used as main commuting car until late 2023-now has 89000 miles. Commute 84 miles roundtrip at 80-85 mph, very steady and secure and 29-30mpg. Excellent in heavy rain (never driven in snow) we get in Houston. Will keep 4 more years but Subaru discontinued the Legacy so likely another brand if I want a sedan.

I met with Angel and told him of the car that I was interested in and we went for a test drive after asking a couple of questions about the car as well as the financing. My father in law asked questions I didnt think to ask when I got back and we went through the process of obtaining the 2021 Nissan Versa. As I wanted to drive it that day, I also went through the process of obtaining insurance for it, which I was told was okay from Angel. Both the application for insurance and the loan took about equal time but after two or three hours, I drove the car I wanted home with no problems and a happy customer
2020 Subaru Legacy review
The Ride is far better than the 2018 Legacy, the Turbo 4cyl with 260 HP makes a big difference when merging from an on ramp to major highway. The safety equipment is amazing. Subaru somehow built in shift points to the CVT. That along with the paddle shifters help the car perform more like a standard shift. The interior is much like a luxury vehicle. Fantastic comfy Nappa leather seating is first rate.

2016 Subaru Legacy review
My third Subaru and like the others is attractive and roomy enough to fit 5. I've hauled 8ft boards inside with the doors/trunk closed (only an Outback would hold more). The (now sadly discontinued) 6-cyl engine has about 51000 miles now and is smooth and sounds better than a four. Fuel economy is decent and, on regular gas, averages in the low 20s. It has all the 'nannies' which make driving safer for me. I just love looking at my car which is important to me. This one's a keeper!

2022 Subaru WRX review
Just bought a 2023 WRX base 6 speed manual. Excellent car and best fun you could have at around $30k. Pros: good power, good handling, good price, fast and fun to drive, stiff suspension, sporty exhaust. Cons: black side moldings and the huge rear black bumper, speakers suck, brakes are weak (installed performance pads, problem solved)

2023 Subaru WRX review
About 1300 miles into a new 2023 WRX Premium. Car is a blast to drive and mine also has the Harmon Kardon sound system upgrade (very nice audio). Not as creature comfortable as my past BMWs but definitely comfortable. Premium only came with cloth seats so added seat covers. MT is the only way to go! An honest fun to drive car at a reasonable price.

2020 Subaru Legacy review
Bought brand new off the lot in January 2020 and I've put just under 20K miles into it so far. Here's what I've seen so far: Good: - AWD keeps you on the road in even the most slushy and icy conditions. Driven this car through a few snow storms and never had to worry about losing control. - The driving assist safety features work very well, definitely has saved me from a couple minor incidents. Also the adaptive cruise control has revolutionized long roadtrips and I'll absolutely never be able to go back - Interior looks fresh and clean, seats are very comfortable. I'm always surprised how much trunk space this car has, plus the folding back seat make transporting some bulkier items easy. Bad: - I absolutely despise the entertainment system. The huge touch screen is cool but it is sluggish and unreliable. Often the inputs will lag several seconds or not register at all, which sucks when you're trying to turn on the AC on a hot day or the heat in the winter. The worst part is that sometimes when you start the car up, the user interface software won't start correctly and will crash, disabling all of the vehicle's safety features. Usually this fixes itself with an automatic reboot but that often takes a couple minutes. Once or twice I've had to pull of the road, turn off the car and turn it on again to manually cycle power to the console interface. - There's absolutely no reason to buy the sport mode when the CVT is so sluggish. Paddle shifters seem like they're almost disconnected as the difference between the "gears" is so minimal. - No way to disable the auto start/stop system, have to hit the touchscreen button every time. Overall: - I'd still recommend this car since the good definitely outweighs the bad. It's a car that does a lot of things decently but nothing exceedingly well. 2023 Subaru WRX review
I love everything about this car, my only issue so far is my butt hurts with these sports seats after a solid hour of driving. Not the most padded seat mixed with the WRX stiff suspension lets you really feel the texture of the road. Everything else is 10/10.

2022 Subaru Legacy review
from the first day I had it I haven’t had any issues with it as it handles great and gas economy is awesome. I don’t have a negative to write. I drove Lincoln’s for the last 20 or more years and because they stopped making cars and only Crossovers or SVU’s, I searched high and low to find an equivalent car and googled all the options that were a must and the Subaru Legacy Elite came up and my husband and I went to look and drove out with our new car and couldn’t be happier. The ride is comfortable and the car is just great.

2016 Subaru WRX review
The FA 20 engine and cvt transmission were designed as a unit .There have been issues with the cvt as drag racing stretches the internal belt and the hurt begins rolling starts all good . Great road car in any weather a solid performer .

2025 Subaru Legacy review
I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.
