Just what I want in a car. It holds the road on ice and snow and is a pleasure to drive year around. My last Subaru, a 2000 purchased new had no major problems until it died an official death at alnost 300,000 miles.
Salesman, Wayne, made the purchase of my 5th Subaru very smooth. He was up front with options and prices and made a fair deal on my trade-in. Placed the order today and am looking forward to picking it up when it comes in.
Heater Fan Reliability

I have had 2 heater Fans in this car. Getting ready for third one now. To make things worse the Dealer cannot seem to fix it. According to the Manual this is not a safety defect. I completely disagree. Cannot defrost windshield or drive in cold weather with defective fan. Also
wheel Covers do not protect brakes from excessive corrosion or wear. Causes premature brake rework due to excessive exposure to road salt used in New England. . DO NOT BUY THIS CAR (2014 OUTBACK.)

This is a super comfortable car. The driver’s seat adjusts every which way so you can be comfy. Plenty of leg room in the front and rear. Lots of cup holders too!

Owned 3 outbacks. ‘99 was terrible with many problems. ‘05 XT was great for 10 years then many problems started that normally doesn’t occur.
‘12 runs well so far. Ride comfort worse of three. Good city car but rides stiffly & noisy on highway. Good family car for snowbelt. Great fuel economy. Extended warranty issues on transmission ☹️. Given past history will get rid of by year 10. No more Subaru in the future for me as there are better AWD options now for same price range .
Simply put: they take care of there customers like they are family. The entire process is geared to clear understanding of the problem, what are your options, cost and long term plan for your car. They are always transparent and are NOT trying to pry additional money from you. My family has purchased 3 loaded cars from this dealer and have always had them serviced at this dealership. Over the past 10 years and have had 1 time that one of my cars broke down on the road and had to be towed to service. We drive each car between 22,000 to 30,000 miles a year. We drive down to Long Island New York City and Vermont in the winter. That is what we consider a dependable car and a great service department.

The car is great for travel. The AWD is a great feature to have in the northeast. It got me through many bad snowstorms. Handles excellently and has great MPG
Went in to the dealership to inspect some used cars after already browsing their website. Met with Bob and he showed me the cars similar to what I was looking for. Even if what I was looking for wasn't there, he gave very honest and helpful advice in my search. I would definitely do business here again.

My Outback is sturdy, dependable, comfortable and, as far as I'm concerned, really cool. It handles really well in the snow and is rugged enough so I feel comfortable driving just about anywhere, yet luxurious enough to enjoy long distance trips at the wheel. It is also very highly rated for safety, which makes me feel more comfortable driving my family around.
Brought my Forester in for service at Mid Hudson Subaru
With 109 thousand miles it was the logical thing to do
A young gentleman greeted me as I pulled up to the service door
He was cordial, confirmed my info, he knew what I was coming for
I went inside and was escorted to the courteous service rep
He had the info asked me if I had any other problems, another easy step
I said an oil change and tire rotation and anything else you think I should do
The rep said do not worry the mechanic will do a check and I will get back to you
Had some complimentary coffee thought I would give it a try
I made myself comfortable and hopped on their free WI-fi
I could not help but notice the positive buzz around that place
Every one seemed happy very positive and lots of smiles on their face
Each rep dealt with every customer in a very caring way
I must admit after a few minutes there, it really brightened up my day
While waiting, I spoke with some customers and a service rep or two
What a great experience at a car dealership, wow, I just never knew
Before you know it my car was ready, no surprises, service with a smile
It will be another 7500 miles, I wont be there for a little while
I would usually drop off my car and come back in an hour or two
But from now on, I will stay there wait and visit with my friends at Mid Hudson Subaru

6 months after purchasing my Outback, I was involved in a serious accident. It did it’s job protecting me and my 4 legged passenger. It is my tank, and I love the AWD. I work in rural Home Health care and I have yet to get stuck or stranded where others have been. I love the space of the hatchback as I travel for a living.
The finance team needs better personnel that is customer oriented and not out for a commission. I really like my car but will not be doing further business with this particular dealer. I should have gotten out of there when I saw another customer lose it with one of the finance reps on the day I went to make my purchase. They put a new rep Carlos, who was begging for me to give them 5 stars, supervised by another guy who was his supervisor who was worse with less knowledge of the details on the plans he was pushing by the name of Andrew. Had to get consumer affairs involved in my case as they would not return my calls.

I love it it's just good as all reviews I read and after driving it it was all I expected to and a litte more.
I submitted an inquiry online and Brian responded very quickly. We discussed what I was looking for, made a test drive appointment,discussed pricing and sealed the deal. Buying my Crosstrek was everything I though buying a car should be. I hope to be back to do business in the future.

They say that the suspension is so tight that if you run over a penny on the highway in a WRX you can definintely feel it! If you run one over in a STI you can tell what year it is!

Needed something to fit my grandchildren's 'stuff' plus easy for my 92yo Mom to get in and out of. With the price of gas constantly fluctuating gas consumption was a key factor and my 'new' ride averages 31mpg! It's a solid QUIET ride with plenty of pick-up! (Coming out of an Infiniti Q60 I thought I would notice less pick-up.)
The staff was extremely friendly. They did their best to provide all the information we needed about the different models. There was no pressure on us to make a decision until we had made up our mind. After that, everything was smooth and we walked out of the dealership with the car we wanted. Jeff Milletta took time to explain to us in the car all the main features of our new Subaru (there were many!).

This car met our family needs. Gas mileage is very good for commuting and very supportive for passenger comfort. Wide doors for easy entry for physically impaired passengers, and loads of leg room. Although better than most, the thickness of the descending support for the right arm rest puts uncomfortable pressure on lateral knee bone. Must adjust seat to partially avoid.
Brian helped me buy my new Crosstrek and it was easier than I thought it would be. I???m very used to salesman who talk in circles and numbers changing after an agreement was made; there was none of that with Liberty, Brian was straightforward and easy to work with and the Finance manger was really friendly. I???ll definitely be buying another car here in the future.

From front to rear inside and out this vehicle is great for a small SUV. Ours has Eye-Sight which is a great safety tool. Add the radar cruise control, navigation and heated seats and this is a hard to beat vehicle for the price.
Even though this Subaru dealership was a little farther than the last one I dealt, it was well worth the trip. Jeff Miletta took the time to go over the lease as well as every feature of the Crosstrek I was leasing. I didn't feel pressured or rushed out the door and I was happy to have given Liberty Subaru my business. They were all very professional and I would recommend them to anyone interested in buying or leasing a Subaru.

This car handles snow with fun! Basically it handles like a charm and there is nothing I would change. I have the Limited w/ Eyesight which I highly recommend. The downside are the HVAC controls. They are not intuitive at all and I find I have to take my eyes off the roads to make simple adjustments. The screen also reflects the sunlight and can be difficult to see at times. Comfort is excellent, front and back, and ingress/egress is great for folks w/o arthritis. Trunk space is also a plus.
I needed a replacement car and Ed Vogel helped me get one. The transaction was friendly and efficient and it was a pleasure to deal with him and everyone at Liberty throughout this process. I would certainly recommend Ed and the Subaru team to any friend or family looking for a great deal on a great car.

We’ve own a 2003 and 2013 Foresters and both of them had extensive wheel bearing problems at around 40-60,000 miles, costing $1500 ea. Came to learn from a Subaru auto mechanic that Subarus have a design problem with bearing seals. We will not ownanother one in the future.
Great experience and very knowledgeable staff. Very friendly and no pressure. Was as pleasant if and experience as I have had purchasing a car. Brian is an exceptional salesman

My Outback is very comfortable and convenient, and has all the bells and whistles I need. It is very reliable and goes through all kinds of weather. The drive is quiet and smooth, and my 2 golden retrievers fit in the back.
First of all I would like to thank Tom, for the warmest experience. I purchased a BMW a few years ago, and I had the worst experience with the finance, go figure, BMW, Subaru is cheaper and the expensive brand had a crappy attitude guy. Dimitrios was helpful and informative. kudos liberty.

The Forester is exactly what we were looking for. Reasonably priced, very comfortable, efficient for its size, smooth driving, excellent performing. Upright seating fits a wide range of sizes and is great for tall drivers. Excellent rear seat space. Very, very, good cargo space access. The interior is well laid out. Controls are easy to reach and easy to understand. One more thing, the climate control system is fully up to handling Phoenix summer weather.
I Love this car! I have looked for a Subaru Outback for almost 2 years and finally found the car I wanted! I have only had it a few days, but I am so happy with it already. I LOVE my heated seats, they come in handy in this cold weather. My visibility is awesome. I sit a bit higher than my last car and have no problem seeing clearly out of every window. The back-up camera comes in handy in those tight spots too! This vehicle handles like a dream! The AWD will come in handy when I am traveling for work also. I highly recommend a Subaru to anyone looking for a good, solid, reliable car.
