Returning a 2013 VW Passat on a end of lease and was amazed on the personal attention received that I ended up leasing a 2016 Passat. The salesman John BATISTA was great. He was very patient, knowledgeable with the vehicles features and options. A real pleasure to deal with. His general manager Tom was also a very professional and I would highly recommend that you ask for these two gentlemen in person.

Kind, courteous, and straight forward. Rockland gave me the bottom line price, as well as the best price, from the very first inquiry over the phone with Trish, with absolutely no surprises when I walked in the door. I recently was in the market for a Ram truck, after a short conversation about what I wanted, the salesman and general manager found me exactly what I was asking for and gave me the best deal I could find in the tri-state area. They were upfront and honest about the offer and didn't try to stretch my budget. I was super happy and will purchase all future cars/trucks through this dealership. They exceeded my expectations at every turn.
I've used the service department several times and have been very pleased each time, though one time they changed my license name plate without my permission which did not make me happy.
Regarding their used car buyingnprocess, they have a good selection of cars but I found them to be OVERPRICED.
Salesman, Wayne, made the purchase of my 5th Subaru very smooth. He was up front with options and prices and made a fair deal on my trade-in. Placed the order today and am looking forward to picking it up when it comes in.

Simply put: they take care of there customers like they are family. The entire process is geared to clear understanding of the problem, what are your options, cost and long term plan for your car. They are always transparent and are NOT trying to pry additional money from you. My family has purchased 3 loaded cars from this dealer and have always had them serviced at this dealership. Over the past 10 years and have had 1 time that one of my cars broke down on the road and had to be towed to service. We drive each car between 22,000 to 30,000 miles a year. We drive down to Long Island New York City and Vermont in the winter. That is what we consider a dependable car and a great service department.
Went in to the dealership to inspect some used cars after already browsing their website. Met with Bob and he showed me the cars similar to what I was looking for. Even if what I was looking for wasn't there, he gave very honest and helpful advice in my search. I would definitely do business here again.
Brought my Forester in for service at Mid Hudson Subaru
With 109 thousand miles it was the logical thing to do
A young gentleman greeted me as I pulled up to the service door
He was cordial, confirmed my info, he knew what I was coming for
I went inside and was escorted to the courteous service rep
He had the info asked me if I had any other problems, another easy step
I said an oil change and tire rotation and anything else you think I should do
The rep said do not worry the mechanic will do a check and I will get back to you
Had some complimentary coffee thought I would give it a try
I made myself comfortable and hopped on their free WI-fi
I could not help but notice the positive buzz around that place
Every one seemed happy very positive and lots of smiles on their face
Each rep dealt with every customer in a very caring way
I must admit after a few minutes there, it really brightened up my day
While waiting, I spoke with some customers and a service rep or two
What a great experience at a car dealership, wow, I just never knew
Before you know it my car was ready, no surprises, service with a smile
It will be another 7500 miles, I wont be there for a little while
I would usually drop off my car and come back in an hour or two
But from now on, I will stay there wait and visit with my friends at Mid Hudson Subaru
I was just watching a commercial for Mid-Hudson Subaru on TV, and thought it was necessary that I write a review. My husband and I recently bought our 2nd and 3rd Subarus from mid-Hudson. The dealership is such a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The listen to your needs, don't push you to make a decision, and are so helpful on the backside of a sale. We worked with Trish and she was knowledgeable, helpful and followed up with phone calls after each step to make sur everything was moving smoothly. We were so impressed with Mid-Hudson that we suggested my mom go there and she purchased a new Subaru as well, with Trish's help. I works highly recommend Mid-Hudson
