I have purchased two cars from them so far and each experience was a satisfactory one! From buying my first car on my own to trading it for a newer one they have amazing customer service and want each customer to leave happy! This car is perfect for me. It reminds me a lot of my 2002 Forester which I liked very much, but with all the new technology and a lot more pep. It also rides a lot smoother. It just so happens to be one inch longer than my Forester. So, the visibility and spacing is exactly what I want. The variable cruise control and lane control virtually drive the car by itself. I no longer get stressed driving in rush hour traffic and I no longer get tired during long drives. The ground clearance and all wheel drive make it easier to drive in snow. It's the perfect car for anyone, not just an old guy like me.

Hands down best service in town. Went in having no idea what I wanted and came out with a 2016 Ford Fusion that runs beautifully. Was not nearly as stressful as I had been anticipating, in fact it was very easy. Gerald Harman and the rest of the team were a tremendous help in getting me my new car. I am very thankful.

I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

Overall a good experience. Pleasant people to talk with and the buying process was really simple and stress free. My only complaint was that the vehicle wasn't cleaned even though I had made an appointment a few days in advance. Would reccomend Carmax H'burg to others.

After trying out dozens of different makes & models (looking for a used, comfortable 1 or 2 yr old car) we found our Tucson on a show-room floor with everything we wanted (except CD player) & paid less than what we were looking at with an older model of anything else! (would have given the car a 5 Star rating for interior, but center counsel is awkward to get into while driving & not quite enough small storage spaces.. other than that.. it's our 1yr anniversary with the car & we're Still learning all the buttons! We bought the car in Janesville, Wisc. The dealerships here in Rockford were pushy & wouldn't answer any questions unless we committed to buying with them. (Stay away!!)

After purchase I immediately took the car on an 800 mile road trip. It is much more comfortable and rides more smoothly than our older RAV4 and had plenty of pep for highway driving. Averaged over 37 MPG at highway speed of 70-80 MPH. Would have liked a power hatchback but overall I’m very satisfied with the options that came with it as an LE model.

I met Tera Gordon through their internet service. She makes buying a car an actual enjoyable experience. Yes, I said enjoyable. As a mom I need a car, but buying one is typically a daunting stressful task. Working with Tera eased the stressful process. She made me feel like family, and as a mom herself, I felt she knew exactly what I was looking for (dependability and won't break the bank) and my concerns.

I have a 2021 SEL. No problems thus far with 18,000 miles. The seats are the most comfy of any vehicle I’ve had. It has the fake leather ones. It’s all I need. I average 29 mpg but mostly drive in town.

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

Great redesign. Much roomier interior. I have the gas hybrid and gas mileage is great. The only complaint I have is the middle console. The material used scratches easily and shows fingerprints as well.

Very happy with the car and the ecxperience at McDonough Toyota. We love our new car and the staff. The sales and service staff are great. We will recommend them to everyone we know.

Great car overall but have have had problems with radio/screen. Needed to go back to dealer to reboot. As a current owner of now 2 Toyotas only disappointment was service.

no matter how basic a car the ability to open your garage door should be standard. rav4 LE strips too many basic needs. toyota stop being cheap get in the game

I didn’t end up buying anything because we couldn’t quite get on the same page but I was asking for a lot so I get it. Working with Sam was great. Really good guy. Not too pushy and really personable. If I had more wiggle room I would’ve enjoyed being able to work with them.

Nicely designed inside and out. Much mote cargo space than I thought it would have. It passed the road trip test too.. I have no complaints about it.

As of now, I haven’t came back to earth after driving my new Subaru Outback!! What a “dream come true”for me! I’ve had this SUV for 1 1/2 years. I love it! Is is fun and easy to drive. It is comfortable and has adequate space for 4 passengers. We sometimes haul 5, but the backseat gets tight for that. Mine is getting approximately 29 mpg on midgrade fuel. Love the pushbutton start, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor, controls on steering wheel, rear hatch open and shut buttons, hands free talk, and huge display screen. Toyota could do better with the door handle touch to lock and unlock. Mine don’t work as well as expected. It also has a very annoying ding to warn when the roads may be icy that we apparently cannot turn off. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on performance due to acceleration rate. It makes big noise like it’s going somewhere, but doesn’t really accelerate exceptionally well. It also shifts oddly sometimes. I notice it mostly when you slow down, but don’t stop ( think yield sign). It will jerk pretty hard when you accelerate from low speed. Overall it is a great little SUV with many bells and whistles for it’s price point. It feels very safe and reliable.

Great experience! I made an unusual trade of an r/v and the guys came to my house to look things over. Ended up trading the r/v and a car after receiving a very fair offer. Visited the dealership and Aaron spent a lot of time with me looking and road testing trucks. Found one I like and again made a fair deal. The whole process worked out perfectly.

After having my Kia Soul stolen 2 times, the second time they totaled it, I wanted a good coar with better safety features. I got the Toyota, and I have had no regrets at all. Drives great, gives good gas milage, and performance, Starts right up, and offers the features I want in a car.

I bought the 2020 CR-V new in July 2020 and as of December 2024, have 39K miles on it. I have taken it to the dealer for regular maintenance. It has been trouble-free and drives very well. If I have one complaint, it's the glitchy infotainment system. I have had to do a factory reset on the infotainment system twice. Otherwise, a wonderful vehicle.

Sales staff displayed great presentation & communication skills; pricing was reasonable; tough but fair buying & negotiation process - communication was respectful, transparent and clear throughout. I was very pleased with a fair & final off-the-lot price agreement. This is a family oriented business which cares about its people and values its customers. Would highly recommend a visit. I have a red 2017 Jeep Cherokee that I bought used, and I love it. I live in the blue ridge mountains of Virginia and this car has been able to deal with everything i've thrown at it. Deep snow, muddy trails, icy roads... You name it. I have the V6 and I can hook up a heavy uHaul trailer and go up and down all the mountains with it. My wife even hit a deer in this car... It obviously had to go to the repair shop, but my wife was safe. The only thing that bothers me a little is that you can't slam on the brakes and throw it in reverse... You need to stop completely, take two seconds and then put it in reverse.

I've added aftermarket exhaust and a computer chip and the roar pedal also KNN air filter and bigger tires 35 so far it is a lot of fun to drive

My mother got this car new and gave it to me after only a couple years. I absolutely ADORED this car. So reliable and comfortable. I would still be driving it if a semi truck hadn't fallen on it, crushing us over the guardrail, rolling us a few times. We would not have survived that in most cars. This car has ample room above you that crushes down. I had previously wondered once why the ceiling was so high. Life saver. The seat belt held so fast and hard that I have a massive bruise from it. The seat belts had my friend and I hanging upside down. This is a fantastic car. Sad to see it go! I will probably get another.

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

Steven Kia went above and beyond in servicing my vehicle. Courtney was the main representative who remained in contact with me through the week, as my vehicle needed several things. I also was offered an Uber back to my home, since my vehicle was staying overnight.

Great customer service. My Kia Sportage drives very comfortably. Love the heated seats. Great for carrying large items cause you can put the back seats down.

Excellent performer. Plenty of zip and power. I’ve recorded 39.6 mpg in warm weather last year. Down and back to Florida was recorded at 38.8. Very spacious, excellent cargo capacity. I’m 6’9” and am comfortable behind the wheel.

I had the good fortune of working with Marco (salesman) at Valley Nissan. He didn't follow me around the car lot. He asked if we needed some help while we were looking. Marco stayed just far enough away so when we were ready for help he was there to help us. Marco has a way with customers that cause you to feel at ease and know that he is going work very hard to get you the great deal your looking for. He is just a great salesman. If you find yourself at Valley Nissan, you should ask for Marco.

2021 xse, ride is a little hard. A car you really have to drive which I like. Great mileage 38 to 40 mpg. I'm pleased, the car is loaded with extras. Bought new a little pricey would purchase another one.
