2024 Lexus NX 350h review
I love my Lexus NX350h! I previously had the UX350h. This one is slightly bigger, so it is a perfect fit! The ride is smooth going up steep hills. The user interface is pretty simple, but usually use Android auto. Gas mileage is decent especially with those steep hills that I have to drive daily. I definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for a compact SUV.

2017 Hyundai TUCSON review
Just purchased as a daily driver for work. Had it two months with 104,000 miles. Looks and drives great. Base model but I’m pleased with its features. I agree not a lot of power but purchase it as a work vehicle to garage my nicer vehicle.

2023 Volvo XC40 review
After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

2017 Jeep Compass review
Now in my 6th year with my 2017 and still like it. My complaints are simple. Needs larger fuel tank, better gas mileage considering its size and engine, would prefer manual transmission, and get rid of the xxxx engine shut off function. Love the size, comfortable, still seems solid. My only repair was replacement of the satnav unit that crapped out.

2018 Chevrolet Equinox review
2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

2015 Nissan Rogue review
Nissan ROGUE S trim, no sunroof, FWD. 14/15 year model, 7 seater. So, you are here because you are about to buy one and mix of 1 star to 5 star reviews makes you nervous. Don’t be nervous , just don’t, because you’re about to buy the best SUV on the market for that years and read: Here is how to buy it and not regret about purchasing it: Mainly because of ZERO GRAVITY SEATS. ITS PURE MAGIC!!! Short story first: We bought it used with around 60.000 miles back in 2019. At that time I was a mechanic but not yet ASE certified lol. So I was very nervous about our purchase - all my bank money was about to be gone for the car - didn’t use bank credit. AND I STARTED SEARCHING, SEARCHING AND SEARCHING AGAIN. Let me share my experience: I knew that the main problem was CVT. How to verify that it’s good before purchasing the car? BYU an OBD dongle VEEPEAK as example (not a Bluedriver!) Aquire an Android phone or tablet. Download CVT50 and pay the Full version $4.99 as of 2026 (later in your mind will sound like “FREE 99” lol) YouTube how to use it. Install dongle to desired car, connect to your android (no iOS arrrrr), start the car. Find deterioration counter in app by clicking “read CVT” IFyou see something above 1500 - JUST RUN. It’s that easy. Actually app shows red flag and sign “Transmission failure” if it’s above 3000. Once you acquire the car - do whole transmission fluid change with filters replacement and wiping bottom pan inside (flush if you want, but better not to… Actually you can do it by yourself within 2-3 hours at your driveway. Make sure: USE ONLY AND ONLY OEM NS-3 FLUID AND OEM FILTERS there is 2 of them in the transmission. When you will install the transmission oil pan back - DO NOT OVERTORQUE THOSE BOLTS!!! We got lucky and it was only around 90 on ours. So technically in supreme condition. So far after 6 years being lucky 3rd owner: 1. AC fan replaced by myself with used. 2. Major leak inside the driver side from rain - known recall was honored by Nissan thanks to JAMES PUGH - GOD BLESS HIM!!! at Nissan global HQ and fixed at/by local Nisan dealership. 3. Tailgate bulbs replaced. This is it. Oh forgot OEM oil filters and Royal Purple only 0w-20 every 5k miles. I knew the guy who drove all possible cars from one auto auction to another around 100k ride on daily basis, and he said, that most comfortable seats only Nissan have among all cars even M, AMG, GTI, R, RS and many other combinations of fancy letters top tier cars. 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
I bought a 2024 Rally which is the highest trim in a Mach E . It is very fast and fun smooth on the highway and can be driven on a dirt track as well as used as an every day vehicle. My only complaint is the range could be a little better and charging should be faster because the vehicle is already in its 4th year of production other than that as a long time EV owner I love the car after a month of ownership.

2017 Ford Escape review

I just wanted to comment on how much I like Carmax customer service as a company. I bought me car from Carmax in Nashville Tn about 2 years ago and had great experience. Then few months later I my car started making a noise on the front end. Took back to Carmax in Nashville They put me in a rental car till the next day till they got it fixed... Which was great. They repaired my car free and payed for the rental car. Then April 6th I was traveling thru Jackson Tn and my car started making a terrible noise. I was very concern. Called Carmax in Jackson Tn took my car there they worked me in pretty quick. When they pulled the wheel off the found a pebble had past the dust cover and was rubbing between breaks and rotary. They removed the pebble and all was good. Thank God there was no damaged. Tech put my tire back on and sent me on my way. They didn't charge me nothing.. Thank you

2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
I have had my Bronco Sport Big Bend for 6 months now and has far exceded my expectations! It is amazing in winter conditions of snow and ice, has a great power boost race mode which amazes me since mi e has the 1.3L engine. I average 30mpg without babying it and seat comfort, space, sunroof/moonroof is great. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4×4 SUV.

2021 Nissan Rogue review
I was shopping for a used vehicle to replace a Lexus ES 350 that was 11 years old. I was prepared to keep that car forever, but it was totaled in an accident. I went to CARMAX looking for another luxury vehicle, and then I saw this Rogue Platinum. It looked like new, but it was 5 years old with under 40,000 miles on it. It was Pearl White with an Absolute Black top. The exterior had only a small blemish on a rear door, otherwise it was perfect. What sold me on the car was the interior. It was a Saddle-and-Black combination with top-quality leather not found in this class of compact SUVs. Being a Platinum trim level, it had every option one could imagine - more than my old Lexus had. The interior also looked brand new. The car is comfortable, quiet, and brilliantly appointed. I've seen both great and terrible reviews on the Rogue, so I did purchase the CAREMAX extended warranty. I have had the car for only a month. Will it continue to delight me or disappoint me in the months ahead? Time will tell, but I love it now.

2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
I purchased this Jeep brand new in 2012 as a 2013 Model, I have since put 150,000 miles on. It is a Jeep and can get a little uncomfortable on long highway drives. I took this on a 3 week coast to coast road trip across the US I would know. It does a great job towing my 20foot i/o boat to and from the lake, but wouldn't recommend long trips with that much to tow. Maintenance has been astonishingly low, the only things I needed was regular oil changes, brakes, and a radiator leak that was covered under warranty. This is one of the best all around vehicles, top down cruising in the summer and 4x4 for the snowy PA winters.
