First Texas Honda review
I’ve been a loyal First Texas Honda driver since I got my first new car in 2020, a Honda Civic Sport, and in return, they have been incredibly loyal to me. It’s not just about the cars here, it’s about the people who treat you like family the second you walk through the doors. Throughout my journey with my Civic, the service center has always been amazing, honest, and extremely thorough. This most recent experience was pure magic from start to finish, and it took a true "Dream Team" to make it a reality. It started last week with Cameron Price in Service, his kindness and easygoing spirit made me feel extremely comfortable, he was so attentive and efficient while updating me on my Civic, and his great energy is what actually intrigued me to look into an SUV. He made the transition feel so natural. Then Nick from the Acquisition team stepped in with so much effort, helping me navigate my trade-in with genuine care for my situation. He really listened to what I wanted for my trade-in value, he was transparent and worked extremely well with me. I can’t thank him enough for reaching out and getting this process started. The energy continued with Sales Consultant Gustavo Bittencourt and his Sales Manager Carlos Martinez. Watching Gustavo was honestly inspiring, he was literally running around getting cars from inventory for my test drive, making sure every single one of his customers felt seen and taken care of, yet he never let me feel like anything less than his top priority. He and Carlos worked in such perfect harmony, they didn't just look at my budget, they looked at me. They knew how much this car meant to me and my family, and they worked alongside each other to make my dream deal happen! Last but not least, Rizwan Ali, the Financial Manager who helped us complete the final paperwork swiftly we have a busy schedule and he was so kind, informative and prompt! Every single one of these people played a special part in my journey. They treated me like family, handled my budget with respect, met my dreams with excitement, and most importantly, treated me with loyalty. Thank you, First Texas Honda, for being a place I can trust. I am beyond obsessed with my new 2026 HR-V EX-L, the Nordic Forest Pearl color is stunning, but I’m even more grateful for the Honda family I have here, I look forward to purchasing all of my future cars here with y’all! 💙
2024 Kia Telluride review
Have driven just over 20,000 miles so far. No issues. Drive between Clearwater and Gainesville regularly plus a couple other family trips and daily around town. Averages about 27 mpg at 75, quiet and pleasant ride. Trips were nice with good visibility front and back and plenty of room for stuff. Highly recommend.

2025 Kia Telluride review
This SUV competes in what I call the mid size near luxury segment. LIKES: 1.The ride is supple (easily absorbs harsh bumps) ,quiet (noise absorbing glass and abundant insulation cuts road and wind noise) average handling for a SUV. It gives a luxury level ride. (Exception: the X Pro line comes with off road tires which effects ride and noise) 2.Abundant, what I call nanny electronics for those who prefer messing with their phone rather than paying attention to driving their vehicle. 3. Seating in the Prestige trim is done tastefully in Nappa leather with good support. The driver and passenger seats come with 8 way adjustment plus lumbar adjustment. The driver seat only comes with adjustable electric thigh support. Both seats come with heating and ventilation. The second row is captain chairs that do not have electronic adjustment (why?) They do come with heating and ventilation. The third row seats are large enough for full size adults to be comfortable a rare thing in a mid size SUV, but I would not want to spend 10 hours sitting in them. 4.) Infotainment system works well, has a large screen harmon kardon sound system is excellent. You are given various access to many forms of media including apple carplay but only by cable connection (why?) 5.)Climate control can be managed by the info screen or by mechanical switches which I prefer instead of navigating through multiple layers of menus. The rear passengers have their own separate climate controls. 6.) Cargo space is large especially with the 3rd and 2nd row chairs folded down and with the roof racks, things like plywood can be hauled easily. 7.) The 5 year 60,000 mile basic and 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty is the best in the industry. 8.) Fit and finish is excellent DISLIKES: 1.) There is only one engine available. If you're looking for neck snapping acceleration you will be disappointed. But it musters up 291 hp and does provide acceptable acceleration allowing you to access highway speeds without a struggle. So far overall MPG has only been 17.5 far below the published 20 -23 mpg. There could be several factors causing this: 1. the engine only has 315 miles on it, so it is not broken in. 2. the weight of the vehicle. 3.) The gearing of the tranny and the AWD setup. 4. the engine gets its hp without the use of a turbocharger (adding a turbocharger would have certainly raised the hp and mpg) In this segment V8's are not available with one exception the dodge durango. 2.) Extremely limited color selection 3.) Reliability: Because I have only 315 miles on the vehicle I'm not qualified to speak with any knowledge on the subject of reliability. OVERALL IMPRESSION In my search for a vehicle the Telluride came the closest to providing and meeting all my expectations. Yes there are vehicles out there that surpass the Telluride, but be prepared to spend an extra 20k or more. The Telluride provides a luxury ride, near luxury interior, an abundance of electronic technology, plenty of cargo space all in a good-looking package! In the end the Telluride is an excellent value for the money. The only way you're going to know if the Telluride is the vehicle to meet your needs and expectations is to drive one. I'm betting you'll be impressed.

2020 Land Rover Range Rover review
It’s very childish to compare any other SUV to RR knowing that this company has been specializing in nothing else but SUV’s. Now we have Lambos, Corvette, Ferraris making SUV. Can we really trust them?? Imagine building custom bathroom and hiring janitor instead of licensed plumbing contractor to install $5K toilet. I don’t think so. Moral of the story is Land Rover was making SUV when some of these nowdays companies didn’t exist. And let me tell you something about depreciation of these vehicles. Well yeah because there are tons of them just like any other cars. Let’s put all series of Mercedes and let’s see how many are there. I’ll take RR terrains , comfort,luxury, simplicity, reliability, noise insulation over any G-63 AMG which can fit two people in it, deal with stiffnesses , and pure aerodynamic block. Total a joke of comparison. And i owned 7 RR with branded, accident, flooded titles and had zero issues. Never again until i live will go to any other vehicle. Go get yourself Suppercharged model until there are some left. Not a fan of new models switching to Turbos. Its lag and kick in will ruin comfort

Great car and EV. Good range, easy charging, very comfortable ride. Good acceleration, magazines and FB talk about the acceleration of other EVs, meh. The Lyriq accelerates up to speed just fine. Cruise and driver panel works well.

2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee review

Sunday morning we couldn’t get it to start(our stupidity) not knowing it starts when you don’t even it’s started. Martin was kind enough to come over Sunday morning to help us. 2022 Cadillac Escalade review
I purchased a used 2021 model Sport and after being very impressed sold it in order to get a 2022 Sport with Super Cruise, which I absolutely love. I love all of the new technology, with the exception of Apple Car Play. I had a 2016 prior to this generation and was surprised that the gas mileage is actually better on the newer one. The ride is the best ever.

2022 Mazda CX-30 review
Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

2019 Cadillac Escalade review
Bought the ‘19 in ‘18 off the lot at 90K- have never held onto a vehicle this long. I can not upgrade this model- better then the ‘23 thanks to world issues that affect vehicle manufacturing. Excellent ride, comfort, and superior durability. My vehicle is pristine and l love it. 40 years old, over 25 brand new purchases and this one is still a daily driver!!!

2021 Dodge Durango review
I researched a lot of 7-seater SUVs before deciding on a 1 year old Durango... we needed something that could haul our 5 kids and also double as a commuter car with good cargo space for my husband, who travels to construction job sites all over the place. We both love our RAM trucks (mine is the 2500 horse hauler), so Dodge was a natural choice for us, but we opted for the V6 model for better gas mileage than our Hemis. The Durango did not disappoint!! I've seen other reviews complaining about the power of the SXT... what do you honestly expect, people?! It's a 3-row SUV, a V6 simply can't put out the HP to move it like the Hellcat would (ohh, that one must be sweet!!). That being said, we're still pleased with the performance... which is impressive for a vehicle of this size. It still hauls @ss and handles like a dream, and we live on a ranch in the Rockies so good handling on mountain roads in all manner of nasty weather conditions is an absolute MUST for us. You can tell the Durango is modeled on the Challenger chassis so it's basically a race car of an SUV, even in the V6 model. Do yourself a favor and splurge on some d@mn good all-season tires like Michelin LTX for optimum performance in any road conditions. We've been very impressed with the fuel economy, it does well - even with my husband rallying up and down the mountain and dusting people left & right on his daily commute. Haha! That's one advantage over the V8 models, which guzzle gas as bad as our big RAM trucks. We even run it with the Eco Boost turned off, and often in Sport mode. One thing my husband's not fond of is the fact that there is only one special jack included... and no mounts for floor jacks or jack stands. A second jack from the dealer is almost $300. So husband spent some time in his metal shop to fab an adapter for a second scissor jack, so he could rotate tires and change the oil. It's a non issue if you take your car in for service, but if you're the type to wrench on your own vehicles, it's something to bear in mind. Interior design is nice... the only small beef I've got is the 2nd row seat backs fold down, but the whole seat doesn't fold up to more easily access the 3rd row. It's not an issue for our kids clambering over, but it could be awkward for an adult. So the little ones go in the back. Overall, we're really pleased with our Durango SXT - even for the base model, it's got enough whistles and bells to keep us happy, and an impressive performance to economy ratio. Definitely worth every penny of the purchase price, and it's a vehicle we'll keep for a very long time.

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
It’s currently summer 2025, I’ve owned my 2020 Wrangler Sahara since spring 2021. I LOVE my jeep and have had ZERO issues with it. This is my 2 nd Wrangler, first one was 2915 New. No issues with it at either. Mine is a 4 cl turbo. I didn’t want that I wanted a 6 cl. My husband convinced me to buy it and I’m glad I did. I have 59,000. Miles currently and I haven’t had to replace anything besides general maintenance.

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
My Grand Cherokee Laredo E just turned 50,000 miles a few days ago. Other than routine maintenance, the only money that I have invested in it was for 4 tires last month. Extremely comfortable, capable and reliable. While not delivering Prius-like gas mileage, given the performance it provides in all types of weather.............NO COMPLAINTS !

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. 2023 Subaru Crosstrek review
Great dependable car. comfortable driving, the 6 speed trans is awesome(same as in the wrx) so stop talking stupid. People who don't like this doesn't know how to drive a manual. handled great in snow, and remember you are controlling this car not the computer

2000 Ford Excursion review
I have owned many trucks in my life, but my 2000 Ford Excursion was the greatest vehicle I have ever owned because of its flawless reliability, luxury, safety beyond anything I could possibly drive, and the gorgeous looks INSIDE & OUT. Freezing AC in all THREE compartments from drivers seat, 2nd row, and third row that are all adjustable. Gorgeous leather, the Best V10 engine ever made, & it still gets decent gas mileage. I love this truck, as FORD went out of their way to beat any truck ever made. MY FAVORITE VEHICLE....my LIMO.

2013 Ford Expedition EL review
I purchased it used 6 months ago with very high mileage. I am still in shock of how good this vehicle is. For starters, not having to do specifically or exclusively with Expeditions, this vehicle is very clean in an out and all around. The paint still shines like new and I believe it to be original, 9/10. The interior shows very light ware. Some leather conditioner and she’ll be a 10/10. The reality is that vehicles like these are usually purchased by very large families with kids so the interiors are usually bad news. Having said that, the previous owner of this vehicle REALLY LOVED this truck as I do. 200k miles on the clock and this thing rides like a dream. I have all the same features and options as the unit used for this article, with the addition of video player with dual monitors on the headrests. The gas mileage is not great but I work from home and we have a multi vehicle household so the gas mileage was not as much a concern for me as it may be for others. In all honesty, I spend my time driving it around on weekends trying to find things to do or cargo to fill it up with just because I can. I am not a handy guy so projects around the house are handled by payed handymen, but I am literally always trying to think about what I can put in it. I am considering purchasing a small travel trailer for some camping adventures. The one thing I am tempted to do, but won’t, is to take a very long road trip in it. I won’t because it does have the previously mentioned 200k on the odometer and because I am not handy, I don’t want to have something go wrong 1k miles from home, but it is so tempting. This is truly one of, if not THE BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned. If you want to look trendy or like to attract attention with a flashy car, this is not the one for you. It looks very dated. My last piece of advice, DO NOT BE OVER CONFIDENT WITH YOUR DRIVING ABILITIES. If you are intimidated by driving a VERY LARGE vehicle in tight spaces or don’t like to use your mirrors to back up because, “I got this,” with your backup camera, this vehicle is not for you. You should be skilled behind the wheel to own this vehicle. I would most certainly recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for this type of vehicle.
