2020 Buick Encore review
The Encore offers a very quiet and smooth ride. It has the get up and go when needed and handles really well. Drivers seating position is great for tall or short people but the seats aren't geared towards (wide) people, no disrespect intended. The car isn't very wide and the interior shows it. Driver and front passenger must share the one armrest on the driver's seat. A/C & heating knobs are not illuminated makes them hard to see at night. Back seat room is OK. Storage area good for groceries but not much else unless you raise the rear seat and lower the seat back. Doing this we were able to get a new mower in the box inside without any problem. Almost 30,000 miles with only regular oil changes and tire rotations. No mechanical issues at all! One of the best cars we have owned. Not to mention we bought it new while offered at $10000 of of list price!

I want to give a huge thank you to Jeremy "808" and his boss Kiyoshi at Kendall Ford Vancouver!! Ive had my new truck for a couple weeks now and couldn't be happier! This is my 100% honest review of my experience.. I viewed a 2018 Nissan Frontier that Kendall had advertised online. I sent inquiry, Jeremy responded via text almost immediately. We soon spoke over the phone, I explained my situation of negative equity in my current car and a low fixed income. I really pushed the fact that it has to be the right deal.. right payment, right vehicle or I wouldnt bite. Jeremy assured me that if I would make the trip in, he'd be able to make the deal I needed/wanted. To be honest, I was skeptical.. heard it before just to get the run around or a bad deal. To my very pleasant surprise, "808" did exactly what he promised! Before I arrived he and Kiyoshi had already discussed a few options for me. First option was a really good deal but more then what I needed.. I wanted mid-size crew cab truck. Again, first truck (chevy silverado 4x4 zr1) was beautiful and a great deal but more than I needed. I honestly figured this would be the moment it would all fall down and id leave with no new deal and frustrated.. just the opposite happened! They brought out my dream truck! A beautiful black Nissan Frontier SV! So this would be the point now to get me excited, stick me with a ridiculous price and high payments right?? Wrong again! They swallowed 6k of negative equity on my trade in and still sold me the Frontier for 1k under blue book! The truck also qualified for Kendalls free 6 month power train warranty so no worries that I was getting a great deal on a bad truck.. I absolutely love my truck, I have zero buyers remorse, kept the same payment as my trade in, cleaned up a ton of negative equity and now have a vehicle that will retain its resale value long after I get my use out of it. 2022 Audi Q3 review
I usually lease my cars. I loved this one so much, I bought it. My only issue is that it was recalled 4 months after I purchased it. Sue to the supply chain issues, it took nearly 4 months for the parts to fix it. I did have a loaner for the 4 months, but it was disappointing. I love the car and would purchase again.

2024 Kia Niro review
I am thrilled with my new 2024 KIA Niro Lx. Even the base model comes with so many features. The MPG states 53/54 city/highway I am actually averaging 10% more! Love that!! It rides beautifully and the aesthetics are great. The Snow White Pearl is stunning and worth the extra $. One drawback is NO retractable cargo cover. The only concealment/privacy option is a "cargo shield" overpriced and flimsy but necessary.

2015 Chevrolet Trax review
The Trax has been a great vehicle for us. We've used it as our band car, taking our music equipment to and from our gigs. rear seats go down leaving plenty of room in the back for hauling our stuff. 2022 Mazda CX-30 review
Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

2018 Porsche Macan review
One of the most fun cars I have ever driven. The acceleration and handling are on another level than the X5M or X3M. It’s also practical and looks extremely sharp. Infotainment could be better - the PDK is lightening fast though. Exhaust tone is amazing. I can go on and on.

Originally, we walked in with our credit union loan already to go and an idea of the types of vehicles we wanted to look at. As we were walking through the used car sales area we were approached by Devin who works in the service department. He explained a few different vehicle features to us, we were able to ask what sort of issues each vehicle typically comes in for. He answered each question without hesitation. He introduced us to the General Sales Manger Jonathan. After formalities were over, I listed all the things we were looking for. I then started throwing out numbers to him to see if he’d take a specific price for different vehicles. I thought I could win him over with a little charm. He explained that used cars are locked in at sticker price. Disappointed I started to look a newer cars on the lot. Thinking I’d never be able to afford a new car. Jonathan introduced us to Yuri. It only took one test drive with Yuri and I had to have the 2024 Kia Forte G-Line. During the test drive Yuri explained all the features. As someone whose vehicles are from the 2000’s, this was all new to me. He was confident in the ability of Kia’s performance and knew each feature in depth. He was friendly, outgoing, and made us laugh throughout the entire test drive. During the sales process we explained that we already had a loan from our credit union that we were going to use. We told him the % rate we had from our pre-approved loan and he said that he thought he could beat it, so we provided him the information he needed. Both Yuri and Jonathan found us a loan that beat our credit union by 3%. The entire sales process took maybe two hours from the test drive, finishing the paperwork, driving our new car off the lot. We were contacted by Kia a few days later to set up time to install a clear bra. We were met once again by Devin who was friendly and answered all of our questions with ease. When we picked up the car, Devin was ready for us, explained service recommendations, and wanted to make sure we didn’t have any unanswered questions regarding our new car. After, this experience and the follow up calls from the Beaverton Kia we will be recommending Kia and their exceptional service to all of our family and friends.

2025 Mazda CX-30 review
Owned the car 5 months. Very happy with interior comfort and the stowing/storage space in the rear. The sound system is impressive. Took a little time to become accustomed to the entertainment system but I just needed experience. Good road handling in the winter. Practically no road noise. I appreciate the lane indicator features. Great small SUV

2025 MINI Countryman review
I have had my Countryman S for about 7 months and 2000 miles (I have two other cars). It’s Chili Red with Petrol Blue interior. My favorite points are 1. The interior. If you love interesting fun interiors as I do then you will love it. If you try to avoid black interiors and exteriors you eliminate 90% of the cars other make. With Mini, you can get perhaps the most fun interiors anywhere and the Vescin seems comfortable enough. Just with they had ventilated seats. 2. Power, FINALLY Mini got a full BMW tune given you pay about the same price. It is plenty quick and I get 33-36mpg on the highway all the time. Drops much lower zooming around town. 3. Appearance and layout. I like the unique appearance, low roof line for kayaks and plenty of room for the kind of car it is. Negatives: 1. Electronics. Had several updates since I bought it and it has improved a lot but will take some getting used to. Use the favorites menu. Everything is pretty much forced onto the center screen. Sometimes Mini does things to be cute rather than practical. Rather than a start button it uses a flag toggle key you turn off and on like an old fashioned key. If you have to change cars like I do it’s confusing. 2. Center console. Basically, there is not one. There’s a little clam shaped compartment the size of a clutch purse. The armrest doesn’t open. Wasted potential. You will hate this if you are used to piling layers of stuff in a huge center console. Glove box is minimal, too. Neutral. 1. There’s no screen behind the wheel but there is a heads up display. Frankly, after awhile I don’t miss it at all. The heads up is excellent but it takes a little getting used to. 2. Suspension is a bit stiff like all Mini’s. Makes it sporty but trade off is feeling most road imperfections. It does take the top off bumps well but it’s a trade off. In summary, the reliability has been good AFTER the electronics updates and most things work well. It is just so fun to drive and look at inside and out that really I am not sure what I’d rather drive. You might cross shop the BMW X1 and see which works better for you. You cannot beat Mini interiors though for just pure fun and the driving matches on what is a practical Mini for a family. Oh, I got it to tow a camper but I have yet to do that. That is a great new addition in my book. I will probably get a kayak trailer.

I HATE buying a car because of all the games you have to play. Here, there were no games. Prices are posted. Either you want the car or you don't. They will offer you a fair price for your car. Either you take it or you don't. No pressure, no games. Just very nice people who were very helpful. This will be the first place I look when looking for another car. I love that you can shop online, put a hold on the car and go and look at it when it is convient for you. None of this, "I can't promise it will still be here tomorrow." games. They will hold it up to 7 days. I only asked for 2 days. It gave me enough time to look around and decide that I really did want the car at Carmax. Love my car, loved the experience. Try them first if you don't like the car buying game.
2025 BMW X1 review
Car delivers more than I expected. Two must have options are Technology Package and Driver Assistance Plus - that combination is hard to find. Sport seats are very comfortable. Lack of knobs and buttons is an issue - miss them. There is a huge learning curve transitioning to a touch screen. You must absolutely make use of the BMW "Genius" service. Highway MPG exceeds advertised value.
